Came home for girlfriend trip with high school friends and was so excited to find this place. I grew up on L&J and Edmonds and wish we more local spots. Please support local!! Especially when it's so so good. Everything was fresh and perfect. Service was friendly and prices was from back in time for this Louisville girl.

    Complimentary apple fritters!

Yelp did not let us down! We had a delicious and filling breakfast here. After we got our beverages and ordered, the server brought a couple of apple fritters, on the house. The fritters were delicious! Hubby and I both ordered the breakfast skillet, his with bacon, over easy eggs and a biscuit, mine had bacon, scrambled eggs and toast. Everything was delicious and we ordered 6 apple fritters to go! (Great marketing on the part of Pappy's.) Only thing that would have been better is butter on the toast instead of margarine. Thanks for a great breakfast experience.

Pappy's served up just what we needed - delicious food and warm hospitality. Open since 2017, don't be fooled, this strip mall diner is amazing. Fresh, yummy, home cooking is here. I loved how caramelized the veggies in my omelette were. Yes, get the fritters and buy some to go for your best friend. COVID 19 safety is being observed here. We loved all of it, and you will too!

    Wow what an omelette!

This is going to be added to our favorites! We had breakfast but will return again for a lunch.

The shelves were adorned with an extensive collection of books, while other charming items lined the walls. Their menu offered a diverse range of dishes, catering to various tastes. As an avid Eggs Benedict enthusiast, my choice was an easy one. My companion opted for the breakfast bowl with bacon, and both dishes were exceptionally tasty, with well-balanced seasoning. I couldn't help but notice a steak sizzling on a lava rock, promising a delectable culinary experience. However, the service was slightly slow due to the restaurant's popularity. Despite the crowd, our waitress was incredibly kind and even offered an apology for any inconvenience caused. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch when visiting the area.

All four of us ate it as an appetizer cause we were starving. It was full of mixed greens, goat cheese, fresh blueberries, mandarin oranges, strawberries and sliced grilled chicken cooked to perfection. So delish! I also had the chicken salad croissant and it was so flavorful and the croissant was buttery and crusty. This is a must see in Ashland!!!! Our server was amazing. We were so hungry and you were so Accommodating. Thank you!

I'm going to start this out with the amazing points…read more First off, the staff are amazing!!!! From the host/hostess to our server...best service I've had in a long time. Attentive, friendly & makeup on fleek girl...she was stunning. I just had to mention it. Beautiful. Seriously I couldn't have asked for better service. Location...we were staying there for my sisters birthday and you can't beat getting on an elevator and walking a couple steps to have dinner. Yes please! We had been to the restaurant that was there before and the ambiance is similar. Clean and open. No complaints there. Pricing.....very very reasonable. We had one cocktail each, steak and chicken and it was under $100 minus the tip. That's nice!!! Cocktails...the star of the show was the Ashland Sunset....ya had us at Amaretto. So good it's a must!! Now to the food part and I'm gonna be honest cause you know that's how I roll. My sister ordered the filet and I ordered the Tuscan Chicken with Gnocchi. The food reminded me of catered food you would get at a so so wedding. The chicken medallions were just blah. Something about it tasted artificial. Processed or something. I can't put my finger on it but when I think Chophouse I think high quality & this didn't quite make the mark for me. However, for the price it was a good meal. I guess I had higher expectations with a name like Tuscan Prime...but, getting a good meal under $100 has its perks. They do have Sunday brunch that looked nice. Will go there again because of location.
