Both older women who have done my eyebrows were kind, professional, and did an amazing job. Yesterday, the girl who did my eyebrows told me at 3 different points that I should wax my nose hair so that I would look "more American". I kept telling her kindly that I wasn't interested in that service today and was just here for my eyebrow threading, but she wouldn't take No for an answer and kept stopping the threading to tell me why it would look better. I understand making a recommendation based off your professional opinion, however after saying I'm not interested, that doesn't mean you should stop the eyebrow threading every couple of minutes to explain why I should do the other service. And to get progressively more insulting with the reasoning of why, isn't okay either. Also, I'm Iranian and don't think that "looking more American" should be a selling point or consider it a compliment. I never said I wanted that. Take the No for an answer. Insisting repeatedly and shaming me into doing a service, pushed me away from returning.

I agreed out of inexperience, and that add-on alone cost an additional $900 on top of the original procedure. The results were minimal to none. Despite this, Sarah repeatedly assured me during and after the sessions that I "looked great" and that the treatments were effective. Based on her encouragement, I even had the procedure done a second time. Throughout the experience, Sarah was extremely pushy and sales-focused -- more like a used car salesperson than a skincare professional. I left feeling taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge in this area. This was not the honest, transparent care I expected.
