Claudia at Immaculate Brows knows brows! 2. Claudia is a real artist and doesn't rely on a stencil: This one is huge. I have been to brow people who put a stencil on your brows and try to make your brows "fit" into this one size fits all stencil then they proceed to tell me about how my brows don't really work but if I buy these products and fill them in to match the stencil then they will look good. Claudia is not like this at all. She sees how your individual brows grow(yes there are 2 brows and they are close sisters but not identical), chats with you about your brow goals and will work with your personal growth patterns to shape and groom them so they can look good both with or without makeup. 3. Online scheduling for appointments: Because don't we all just randomly remember to schedule our brow appointments while laying in bed at 6am or 10pm or is that just me!? :-) 4. Appointments are on time: I never have to wait past my appointment time and if I ever do, it's less than 5 minutes, which is basically nothing. With that being said... your appointment duration is your appointment duration. If you show up 15 minutes late to your 30 minute appointment then you have to understand you are gonna get whatever can be done in that remaining 15 minutes. It's not a punishment, it's just reality because Claudia is respectful of all of her clients time and her next clients shouldn't have to wait or have their appointments rushed because someone else was late. 5. Great quality wax and waxing technique: I guess my skin is sensitive because lots of waxes make my skin break out. I have not broken out once since seeing Claudia. 6. On four or five separate occasions, one of my nails fell off within two weeks, requiring me to take additional time out of my day to return for repairs. After the change in ownership, I began booking with Emily, whom I understand to be the new owner. At my last appointment, Emily gave me a medium-length Gel-X set with French tips. Within only three days, the white polish was noticeably chipping from the tip of every nail. When I returned, Emily showed no sympathy for the inconvenience and made me feel as though I was imposing by asking her to correct the problem. She repeatedly suggested that I must have been "using my nails too much." Gel polish should not chip that badly after only three days. I directly asked Emily whether she had used regular white polish instead of gel because that was exactly how it appeared. She said no and insisted that she had used gel polish. I do not believe she was honest with me, particularly because after she touched up the white polish on the tips, it did not chip again. I asked her to redo the nails and make them slightly shorter, but she said I would be charged for that and would not redo them complimentary. The only correction she provided was a slight touch-up to the ends of my nails. There was no discount or other gesture for the repeated inconvenience. I left feeling that my concern was blamed on me rather than honestly and professionally addressed. After being a loyal customer for years, this experience was disappointing enough that I will not be returning.
