Not only is the food awesome - I ordered a ramen, plain hot dog, and halo-halo shaved ice (addictively good) - but bonus stars to the staff who were sooo sweet! The Hawaiian style shaved ice and home-made ice cream are top notch. The ice cream is rich and delicious, with some unique flavors, and the shaved ice is very fine - fluffy and evenly slushy in texture and sweetness, unlike the inferior versions where you run into bland chips of ice. The toppings are yum too. The ramen noodles are springy, settled in a savory light broth. For a non-prestige grade ramen, I have no complaints. I also want to acknowledge the lovely hospitality. My child was in a tantrum-y mood and went to sulk by himself in a corner. Seeing the pouty little grump in a small fit, the girls at the counter coaxed him over with ice cream and stickers, which he of course eagerly accepted, pleased by the attention and confection, and was soon back to his endearing self. So I really appreciated their extra kindness! This is a fab joint for a quick-casual or just a perfect sweet treat!

I have never had Hawaiian shaved ice cream and absolutely loved the matcha one. My kids ended up getting the rainbow shaved ice cream and my husband did the ube top coconut ice cream. Tried the matcha latte and really enjoyed it. The matcha flavor was really present and love the creaminess of it which is just how I like it. Took a sip of my parents lavender latte and OMG I am in love!! One of the tastier drinks I've had in a while. Really love the floral taste of the lavender but it wasn't so overwhelming that it felt like I was drinking soap. It was so good Would definitely be back just for the lavender latte... wait scratch that, I DEFINITELY will be back. And this time I don't want to share lol And I'm also excited to try out their other drinks cause they had a lot of unique and interesting offerings. Cafe teasia is truly a cafe that I can truly get behind!!

The Barista was VERY GOOD. She was the only staff member working and was very proficient. She filled our order in a timely fashion and crafted great beverages. We started with: Iced Brown Sugar Latte. This Latte was deliciously sweet and every ingredient mixed very well to create an ideal drink. The other beverage was the Mocha Latte. Another great Java, where the chocolate drizzle and foam made it a memorable selection. Besides Liquid Gold, I ordered a slice of their Chocolate Marble Cake and it was....AWESOME! Moist, firm, pleasantly sweet, and was a perfect complement to the Brain Juice. Thank you, Cafe Tesia, for making this stop worth the time. Now, I see why you're Yelp business page has a 4.8 rating, and I'll definitely return.

Jimmy's Soft Serve was one of the vendors at the event. They offered soft serve vanilla, chocolate, or twist in a cup or cone with rainbow or chocolate sprinkles, Hawaiian shaved ice with blue raspberry or cherry flavoring, and popsicles. I had their vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles in a cup, Hawaiian shaved ice with blue raspberry flavoring, and a Strawberry Shortcake Bar. It was great for a hot day like today. The soft serve was creamy. The ice in the Hawaiian shaved ice could have been finer and thinner shaved, it felt more like a snow cone that use crushed ice. It wasn't powdery and snow-like. The Strawberry Shortcake Bar brought me back to my childhood. The staff at Jimmy's Soft Serve were both wonderful and friendly.

When I got up to the counter, the man serving ice cream was rude. I asked for a cone and was shocked by the amount of ice cream with my cone. It was less than you're average kiddy size cone. The ice cream itself was basic at best, but the small serving size didn't come close to the amount charged. I was extremely disappointed. Never again.

Although there were a lot of flavors listed, there weren't a lot that seemed interesting or appealing to me. I got the large (starts at $8), snow capped (condensed milk - they only drizzle a small amount), with vanilla ice cream on the bottom - half orange and vanilla syrup and other half passion fruit. This ended up being a little over $12! I would give it a 7/10 rating. Both flavors were just OK and I wouldn't get them again. I probably won't go again but it was good for the moment as I was craving something really cold. The service was quick and she was very helpful while being patient. They shave a block of ice in a special machine, creating a very delicate , softly formed shaved ice, that is easy to eat, not like Italian ices, that you have to work hard to get out of the container. Lots of syrup flavors that the Server layers in the cup, so the flavor goes through the whole cup. I had black cherry and lemon/ lime, which I chose to layer together , rather than separately. Another person had the orange creamcicle, and someone else had the mango and coconut. All were delicious. The sizes are regular and large. The regular is $6, and it is huge . The large is $9 I think, not sure about that one. We got regular size. There is a children's size that is smaller, but also pretty large . Street parking, but I think there was a parking lot next door. Seating for z4 people total. Inside. I think on warm days, they may have some seating outside on sidewalk. I would def return. Also the server was especially nice and helpful!

Some of the staff has been here for a while, which tells me it is a well managed operation. Quality is still the focus at TONCHIN. Table comfort is still not. I love to bring my children when not crazy crowded so they can also enjoy one of the best ramen restaurants in the world. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I haven't found better yet. Summer soupless ramen with perfectly chewy noodles and slightly spicy sauce is a great addition. The vegan ban ban kinoko as well as its chicken version are great also during summer. The maguro is delicious but I don't find it as satisfying as the noodles. Mind spiciness level for the younglings. In the winter, the spicy tantan or Tokyo ramen always hit the spot. Fish bun has been improved slightly over the years but thank ramen-sama, it is always as messy to eat as the first time I tried it 7 years ago. Desserts are surprisingly delicious. Typically Japanese ramen restaurants lack in that domain but not here. The Tokyo banana is perfectly crafted: creamy crunchy tasty. The shaved ice are great and super fun to eat. To many more years of happy reviews, and good fortune.
