Got 4 cupcakes and they were great, service was great, blah blah blah. My only complaint is that strange clear bag cupcake holder they put my stuff in. It is not sturdy, not does it hold the cupcakes well in place. As a matter of fact, they shift around and it decapitated the frosting. We had fourteen four- and five-year-olds at a drop-off party, and the bakery attendants handled the, um, spirited guests with aplomb. It was a tight 90 minutes with chef hat decorations, cupcake decorating, pizza, birthday cake, and a little dancing that may have turned into a full on race around the tables. Everything was included in the birthday package price, right down to balloons in my daughter's favorite colors and cute boxes for kids to take home their decorated cupcakes. I mean, hello, the take-home cupcakes ARE the party favor, so you don't have to buy goodie bags full of plastic crap! Due to a recent Increase in Covid cases many people were not comfortable attending. The websites states "$300 deposit is required to hold the date. No refunds but we would be happy to reschedule your date if there is a conflict." I asked Angela if we would be able to switch dates, or if I could use the deposit money towards a cake or cupcakes. As expected she did not offer a refund however, but she surprisingly declined rescheduling the party or even providing cupcakes or a cake for my daughter. Unfortunately my daughter also ended up having pneumonia the weekend of her birthday and was in the hospital so we would've had to cancel regardless. $300 dollars down the drain. The week before Thanksgiving on a Saturday there should be large supplies, instead we walk in to an empty store with 6 or 7 varieties of cupcakes, $4 baby cheesecakes (that were dry and tasteless) despite being told they were topped w/ raspberries and the other strawberries. I walked in and was in love with the decor. There's obviously someone there who made some aesthetically beautiful choices. This also goes for the baked goods...they're all super cute with attention to the accents. It's definitely a feast for the eyes. I bought a bunch of stuff so I will comment on each. We tried 3 different cupcakes. The cupcakes are mostly either a vanilla or chocolate cake with all the flavor being in the buttercream frosting. I would have preferred a variety of cake flavors. I'm really not into buttercream frosting and all the cupcakes had buttercream. We bought a cake bar that just seemed like an undercooked cake. The taste was ok, but the consistency was mushy. The cheesecakes are cute and tasty, but super tiny for $4 a piece. The chocolate chip cookies had a lovely consistency...chewy in the center and crunchy on the outside, but could've used a dash more flavor...maybe vanilla or a sprinkle of salt flakes...I'm not sure, I'm just sure that something is missing. The brownie was hands down the best...the taste, the consistency and the chew were spot on. Would I go back? Maybe for a brownie, but that's it. Bottom line is that everything they serve here is beautiful, but my mouth can't taste beauty. They currently have certificates available on LocalFlavor at $15 for $30 worth of goods.
