It was October, so there was a section dedicated to fall colors and Halloween, with candy coming in black cat boxes, candy that resembles an eyeball, witch, ghost, and of course, candy corn. Never understood the appeal of candy corn, you either love it or avoid it, but it's definitely representative of the season. Candy here is priced high, so it's more like a treat or gift, not an everyday purchase. Personally, I think they would be more profitable if they had a broader price range so it could be the candy store you always purchase something from while at the mall.

When I walked into sees to buy my children a lollipop (lost to one in game of chess) and wanted to get my boss a few chocolates. I was greeted by Wendy and Tobi Soon as I walked in. A new flavor scotchmallow was out and tasty bought some and some brittle along with nougat. Anyway nothing like people who extend a kindness. What caught my eye were the staff-created blind bags. The staff even illustrated the art on the bags too! I got one for $11.99 and it was worth the value! The bag contained all sorts of candies which I loved to sample. The staff were also super nice and personable. This shop is a must when visiting Downtown Portland. It's great for all ages and a great place to sample unique candies and get gifts for others.
