Great place for high tea in Lake O. Very accommodating to my rambunctious Toddler. I loved ordering her the kids tea that came with silicone tea pot and silicone cup. I also liked the shrimp and egg sandwiches that came with my order. And after our meal they offered us to go cups of our tea which I was able to take with me on my after lunch walk !

Was looking for a spot to take my mother for her birthday and I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. The Afternoon Tea Menu is $50/per person with a 2 person minimum. Made reservations online. Parking is a bit tight and we parked in back where the dance studio is located. There is outdoor seating, but when we arrived it was raining and we were seated inside. Bumblebee Tea Time includes: 4 assorted finger sandwiches Fresh English scones with Bumblebee mascarpone cream and strawberry jam Assorted Petit Fours, tea breads of the day As for Tea, I opted for the Darling Darjeeling: 2023 Autumn flush red Oolong, rare premium AV2 from highest elevation, Gopaldhara Clonal, whole leaf, notes of muscatel grapes, honey, berries and slight rose. Lovely tea time with mom and I look forward to returning.

Amazing and delicious as usual. The lobster tail was a special this weekend. Or a new menu item. It was so savory and delicious. It looks like it's sweet like sweet and sour. It's not. It's savory and so good. Excellent service. Great wine pairing. Happy Mother's Day

This is a little hidden gem! The teas are lovely as are the scones and other baked goodies! We've been there multiple times for lunch on the patio which is really relaxing, as well as for food to go. Everyone who works there is wonderful and the service was quick and friendly. The owner is also very sweet.

Update: We've since returned and love the new caffeine free tea options. Of course the food is great, as always, but the tea options have improved as well. I brought my two year old and the staff was super welcoming and kind, with great recommendations on milk tea options she loved. I highly recommend this place.

Bumblebee Flowers and Tea is a small, but lovely little boutique tea house in Lake Oswego. My mother and I visited for breakfast and tea back in December. They had an assortment of pastries and desserts in a display case and were currently making scones in the oven. I ordered the Izumi Dreams tea and the Asiago bagel with avocado, tomato, and cream cheese. I wished the tea would have had a bit more flavor, and it came out lukewarm, however, our server did refresh the tea with hot water. My mother ordered the scrambled eggs, and we both shared a scone. The scone was delicious, fresh out of the oven, and we enjoyed the mascarpone cream and jam on the side. Our food was served on China plates which added a nice touch to our experience, After breakfast, we looked around at the plants and books for sale. They had books wrapped beautifully in paper and a couple of plants, but for a place that has flowers in the title of the tea house, there were limited options...Perhaps because it was winter?? Bumblebee was still a nice experience, and we look forward to tea out on their patio during the summer.

A new Asian inspired restaurant has arrived in LO! With over 2 decades of experience as a restauranteur; owner and private chef Sunny Shin has brought her talented team to share a special journey with the folks in LO. Bumblebee Flowers & Tea is a place where friends can gather to enjoy conversations in a relaxed leisure setting, while dining on exceptional cuisine. During the daytime, you'll be able to sip tea from a varied menu of Eastern or Western teas and order a light selection of sandwiches, salads, or pastries. If you're looking for a local tea house, look no further. I brought a friend to Bumblebee for afternoon tea, and we ordered Hong Kong style tea for two which included a variety of dim-sum (savory/sweet steamed dumplings). The food is made on-site and be sure to try the Hong Kong egg custard since it is made daily. Our lunch date was so memorable, my friend returned with her husband the same day for dinner. Bumblebee transitions into Sungari Nights for dinner. My husband and I recently enjoyed a 'family-style' dinner which started out with the flower garden salad rolls (it was fresh as if just picked from a garden and served with Sungari's special fish sauce and was absolutely delicious). Next came the Salt & Pepper Prawns- - - the prawns were large yet served tender and savory; while the Mongolian Lamb was tender and salty/sweet. There's something on the menu for everyone. We already have dinner reservations when my daughter visits from the East Coast. We will be placing an advance order for Peking Duck, since the owner has shared that Sungari's longtime chef prepares this exquisite dish utilizing ancient traditional methods no longer followed by most restaurants. Please note, the restaurant chef and wait staff pride itself on providing you a memorable food experience by offering exceptional high quality food and excellent service. Enjoy your dining experience!

We did the classic tasting without any add-ons except for mimosas while we were there. The highlights? We were raving about the vanilla scones (so simple, so good!), the meat pie, and the tea sandwiches. Every tea we selected was delicious and the pomegranate mimosas were a highlight for all of us. I encourage leaning into the theme, get dressed up, wear a fascinator, and fall into wonderland! Notes: reservations are highly encouraged due to limited space, so definitely make sure you reserve ahead of time! Allow extra time for parking - this is in the heart of downtown Beaverton and may require a little bit of a walk, but don't let that discourage you, keep circling and you'll find something, or settle for a nice little jaunt and enjoy the charm of downtown Beaverton.

We were in on a Saturday afternoon and nearly every table was occupied while we were there, yet it felt like we were the only table. The setting is very cool. There's so many hidden gems as you look around the space. Even down to their dinnerware and teapots. Each one unique and fun, enough to generate table conversations. Our server, Joey, was fantastic! He took the time to go over his favorite teas and answer any questions we had about ones we were interested in. I'm not a huge tea fan and I really enjoyed the one I got (birthday black tea-decaf). The food was so yummy! Our party were all so excited to try everything. The vanilla scone was the standout for me, but I did truly enjoy everything. My only caution is that parking can be a bit of a headache in the area so be aware ahead of time, but do not let that stop you from making a reservation for afternoon tea, it's worth it!

Morse is a small, locally owned shop run by a husband-and-wife team who are there every day, working incredibly hard. This isn't a corporate chain with rotating staff -- it's two people doing everything themselves, and they care deeply about their business. I've been coming here regularly, and what I see is consistency, quality, and pride in what they serve. The coffee is intentionally crafted and thoughtfully sourced -- it's not meant to taste like mass-produced chain coffee. If you appreciate well-roasted, specialty beans, you'll understand the difference. As for the "energy" or "smiling" comments -- I think sometimes people expect over-the-top hospitality that feels more scripted than genuine. What you get here is authenticity. They run a tight, efficient shop, and they maintain clear boundaries about outside drinks and seating during busy times. That's not rudeness -- that's protecting a small business with limited space. I've seen them keep the shop clean (yes, sometimes that means you'll smell cleaning products if they're sanitizing -- which I personally appreciate). I've seen them manage crowded mornings calmly. I've seen regulars greeted warmly. Running a small business six days a week is no small feat. They deserve support, not nitpicking over perceived tone or misunderstandings. If you value small businesses, high-quality coffee, and owners who take pride in what they do, this place is absolutely worth visiting. I'll continue to support them and encourage others to do the same.

I do wish they had a slightly bigger menu, while there were a number of kolaches, it really seemed to just be different combinations of egg, cheese, and some breakfast protien (sausage, bacon, etc.). So one is just egg, then another is egg and cheese, another is sausage, egg, and cheese, then just sausage and egg, etc. All the different combos make it seem like there's a lot, but the real flavor options didn't vary a ton.
