This is a Jasmine milk tea

I come here frequently. This one worker NEVER fills up the milk teas all the way. The Thai milk tea even has less ice and more drink than the Jasmine milk tea which has the normal amount of ice. We both don't get boba in our drinks but if we have to pay extra for boba, then why don't the drinks come full either way? I'm paying for a full drink not 1/4th empty. I gave 3 starts because this is the only worker who does this, and she doesn't it every time.

    Raspberry lychee tea

My first time here and the two young ladies were really sweet and helped me pick my drink, a raspberry lychee tea. It was so good on this hot summer week. Clean shop with pretty fish in their aquarium. I'd like to try their flan or crepes if I'm back this way.

This place is either going out of business or close to it. They no longer honor their punch card. Came in here for some boba and were given 20% off one drink instead of a free snow boba as stated on the card.Picture is of the other punch card we had. Asked if we could just keep the full punch and not get the discount to wait until we come back for froyo, but we're told no. I asked why they don't honor what it says on the card and she said because they haven't got new ones in. Advice- cross it off in sharpie on the old ones. We were not told about the change and were in last month. Looks like we need to find a new froyo and boba tea place.

Surprising amount of menu choices, including crepes. As a Menchie's fan, I went into Peachy Berry expecting them to pale in comparison. I'm happy to report that Peachy Berry give Menchie's a run for their money. There were maybe two fewer fro yo flavors than Menchie's, but the breadth of other menu choices totally makes up for it. All the toppings looked fresh and delicious, and there were about 6 sauce toppings to choose from; including hot caramel and hot fudge. The tables and shop were clean, and they have board games available if you are looking to kill some time. Bonus surprise: a clean tank full of color fish that my kid was in LOVE with. I'll be back for the pistachio flavored fro-yo.

Amazing bubble tea and crepes. Staff is super sweet as well :)

Amazing bubble tea and crepe joint with hand cut fruit and amazing staff. Highly recommend

The inside is very small so not a place to linger or come with a group. I ordered a strawberry matcha and it was so good. The service was great. It may have just been our experience, but the first impression wasn't great. Location - If you're not familiar with the area, I highly recommend using GPS because it's tucked away on the corner of a large apartment complex and is easy to miss. It's essentially hidden. There are fewer than a small handful of guest parking spots in the complex, and the rest are reserved for residents. Street parking is available, but that's limited as well. Service - This is the primary reason for the rating. The staff member who helped us came across as less than friendly. Since it was our first time, we mentioned we were leaning toward one drink and just wanted to confirm a few things about less ice and size. He responded with "What drink?" and proceeded as if we were ready to order, without really addressing our questions. It wasn't the words themselves, but the tone and approach that felt rude. When I later asked for a receipt, he pointed to the tablet screen where it mentioned receipts would be emailed, though he did eventually hand me a printed copy. Overall, the interaction just didn't feel welcoming. Drinks - We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee with less ice, though it still came with quite a bit of ice. The ube was more of a thick cream consistency, which just isn't personally my preference. The Vietnamese coffee was strong, similar to what you would typically find elsewhere.

There are two kiosks for easy ordering. We walked in just a couple of minutes after they opened on a Monday and were the first customers inside. House Blend Pearl Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($6.25) - I'll start by saying that 10% is not nearly enough for this drink, totally unlike the Lynnwood location where anything over 10% sweet is cloyingly sweet for me. I ended up asking for a small cup of syrup on the side and titrated the drink until I thought it was sweet enough. My guess is that it took until around 50% sweet. With that out of the way, the flavor is identical to what I've had before. Rich malty taste with plenty of body. It's a very solid milk tea. This hechalou only has sugar syrup soaked boba, not a choice of honey or brown sugar boba as in Lynnwood. My guess is this is one of the reasons why the sweetness level is so different. Probably honey and/or brown sugar soak adds more sweetness to the drink than whatever soak they use here. The boba is a little firmer than Lynnwood and isn't as flavorful. Still miles ahead of most boba shops in the US though. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($7.05) - Again, this one isn't sweet enough and I had to add more sugar. The drink itself is strongly flowery, again very consistent with the other location. It's a very solid drink. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 This location of Hechalou still serves some top tier drinks. I'll just have to remember the next time I visited to get 50% sweet rather than 10%. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The matcha flavor is very earthy and leans more bitter than sweet, which I personally enjoyed. However, if you're not a fan of strong earthy matcha flavors, you may want to try a different waffle option instead. The tea was really good as well. I ordered mine with regular boba, but I've heard their jelly is actually the highlight, so I'll definitely have to try that next time. The cafe seems really popular with families and is also a great spot to hang out with friends. If you prefer not to order at the counter, they also have kiosks available for self-ordering.

Then, the Freshly Squeezed Lemon Black Tea with boba and less ice became my go to drink. It had a good amount of lemon flavor, and the tea was both sweet and a little tart. I liked the flavor of the boba, but the texture has been inconsistent. Sometimes it's perfect and other times it seems slightly overcooked. That's why I rate the drinks as 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The service has been consistently 4 stars as the drinks were prepared quickly even if there was a line. The space can feel small if there are other customers waiting with limited seating.
