We visited Paradise Biryani's Milpitas location on a business day and firstly, parking is easily available :). Going inside, tables, interior decor, cleanliness, everything is A+. Talking about vegetarian food that we tried, here is the long list: GOBI MANCHURIAN PANEER 65 KADAI VEGETABLE PANEER TIKKA MASALA VEGETABLE DUM BIRYANI GARLIC NAAN To my surprise, everything was aMaZiNg!! We were four adults and two kids and everyone just loved the food. You can request them to make is more or less spicy depending on taste. Wait time after ordering the food is also around 10-12 minutes which is acceptable and below average looking at other bay area restaurants. They don't have 500 items in their menu but whatever they have is very selective and tasty. I might say that quantity is slightly less compared to other places but hey, its about *quality* and not quantity ;). Highly recommend for small or big parties with kids as well, place is not super packy, kids highchair was super clean(mostly doesn't happen) too. Based on my good experience with other location of this restaurant I placed a take out order at this location. I was told to pick up food in 20 mins. I reached their place in an hour and my food was still not ready. I was made to wait 15 mins. When the food was ready they had messed up the order. They took another 10 mins. Also, no apology for screwing up the order or causing the delay. Not only that while I was talking to her about the messed up order between our conversation she answered the phone call. How rude?? Once the phone call was done when I showed displeasure the reply lady gave was 'Yeah'. No sorry no apology. Manager was also not available in the restaurant. Utter nonsense. As a biriyani lover, we usually get biriyani at least once (sometimes twice ;D) in every 15 days. We have got biriyani from this place 100 times before posting this review , and this place has never disappointed. Even I find the biriyani served in Milpitas branch is BETTER than the Santa Clara branch. Eating here was like a scene from Ratatouille! The Gobi manchurian took me back to my childhood in India. They make one of the most authentic and well made Indian food in the South Bay! I came to states 2 months ago I was craving for indian biryani. I visited this place yesterday on my way back home. I ordered goat biryani and apollo fish. The biryani was awesome it taste almost similar to indian taste. The place was newly opened branch they keep it clean and neat. Service - horrible. I mean these people deserve no business for the way they think it's ok to do business. I don't ever write yelp reviews unless I've had outstanding experience, or really horrible experience. In this case horrible. Uber eats order placed at 630. Order accepted immediately. Fast forward to 740- driver has been waiting for 40 minutes! So I call them and ask where my food is... he stumbles through a few bs excuses and manages to make it sound like it's my fault my food hasn't come yet. He then LIES and tells me that he gave my food to the driver and she's leaving now to deliver. Lo and behold ten mins later driver cancels (naturally... she's losing business by waiting so I don't blame her). What makes me mad is that this man literally LIED about giving my food to the driver! So basically in my mind - this place is just bad business, bad customer service and a bunch of liars. At this point regardless of food quality who wants to support such immoral people? When I called back upset he had the nerve to tell me to just "cancel the order then if you're upset" - these people really don't deserve your business. They take their customers for granted. This is a much awaited review since my last visit to recently opened branch in Milpitas. Not only this facility has turned out to be the best but also the service. I remember my kid asking for ketchup along with the tandoori chicken and the waiter went out of the way to get it!!! The staff is really polite and courteous. However weekends they are too busy and it takes 40 mins to for the pickup order. The person taking the order has to provide the right time to pickup the order. They say randon 15 mins. We ordered pickup from Milpitas via central booking of Paradise chain(order paneer,nan,roti,and khadai vegetable).Clearly instructed to make MILD.They said pick up after 30 mints,we reached there in 17 mints,surprisingly order was ready.Happy at that time!So i think food is already prepared in afternoon,otherwise punjabi subji making time all knows!Thats why it was not according to order of us MILD. Paradise is one of the more value for money Indian food spots in town. They are not the same famous chain from India so let's not make those comparisons. They are decent with consistency with their quantities and have maintained their non vegetarian dishes on the menu fairly well. Their weekday lunch set meals are great value. This is one place where they have never shorted us on quantities. Their vegetarian fare is decent, the curries fine and the rice items a miss. Their boneless chicken biryani is one of their popular options but is on the more expensive side though. The service is decent too, pretty responsive to orders and requests, and often delivered within reasonable time. You wouldn't have a bad time here when looking for a fairly decent meal and service. The place is clean and worth a try if you are in the vicinity, definitely one of the better options. read more

Food is okay but SERVICE IS WORST ...!! Staff is RUDE, especially the MANAGER/SUPERVISOR (I should have taken picture of M* and post it). DO NOT expect an apology at all for their mistakes or delays. No Customer service attitude. We waited for 30 minutes for 3 naans on weekday night dinner. After multiple checks with the waiter/staff about the order. No clear response, in-fact they avoided listening to us. When Naan order was delayed more than 30 minutes (while we were middle of eating and waiting with kids). This is an awesome place for ambience. It's big. It's nice. It's beautiful. Probably the best in town -- 5 Star straight. That's all and nothing more. I went twice. Once I ordered goat biryani. You won't believe, I guess they are mixing goat from Costco with some fresh goat meat. People don't pay premium to eat Costco (or like Costco) goat meat in restaurant. It sucks!! I think I had moderate experience when I went first time and ordered chicken biryani. It's pricy and not worthy. Probably, this would be my last visit and I won't recommend. I ordered the Vegi Biryani. It was so spicy I couldn't enjoy my meal, I was sweating and wiping my forehead. I also asked for the Faluda they didn't have it. Then I asked for the badam milk they didn't have it. I came because of the ratings I guess I'll be honest. They need to adjust the heat according to people's taste.
