I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes at the lunch buffet. I can only speak for the vegetarian ones--my favorites were the veg biryani, the bhindi masala (okra), and the gobhi manchurian. Typical Indian cuisine in American restaurants tends to be less flavorful than the real thing, so I was quite excited when this food reminded me of the Andhra cuisine I had tried at friends' houses in the past. 4 stars for the Chicken Biryani we got to go. We had it the next day in lunch and it tasted yummy. Just the right level of spices and hotness. The quantity, to me, is good enough for two people. That, of course, also depends on your appetite. We also ordered Chicken Fried Noodles, Paneer Chilli, garlic naan and gajar halwa (carrot dessert). Chicken Noodles were prepared really well and had an Indian touch to it for those who like it. The quantity of Paneer Chilli was quite great and it also had a nice preparation. I really liked the garlic naan, the person who served it was quick enough to get one to us. Since the naan was served hot, it tasted awesome. However, if you are a big gajar halwa fan, you may not like it. It seemed like the carrots were blended in a blender and then mixed in thick cream. Not good. But rest of the food was really good. Will like to add that there are not many servers so it may be a while before anyone checks in with you. I had a mixed experience but if you know what to order, you will love the food. I came at 9:45 pm and the guy told me we can only serve you Briyani because kitchen is getting closed. The restaurant closing time is 10:30 and as per them they don't take customers after 9:30 pm. This place had an uncomfortable vibe as soon as we arrived. The maitre d'hotel sort of waved in the general direction of where we were to sit instead of escorting us to the table. The restaurant had not changed its lighting from the previous tenant, a Dunkin Donuts, so we were treated to overbright fluorescent fixtures. Almost all of the customers in the restaurant were men, and that made my wife feel out of place. No complementary papadums, no onion relish, nothing. Just a multipage menu. We ordered ONION PAKODA, which turned out to be a disappoiniting deep-fried onion-flavored dust. We also ordered PARADISE DAL FRY, which was OK, but not worth taking leftovers home, and BUTTER CHICKEN, which was tasty and good. Service was a bit too slow to allow us to catch the beginning of the post-dinner movie. We won't be back. This place is good if you have the stomach for Spicy food with a whole rainbow of spices. Very flavorful and authentic biryani. This is the place you want to eat when you want to indulge is food which is rich with ghee and butter. Eat half a biryani and spent the next couple of hours sleeping. I have been to this place twice and both the times I have ordered a huge tray of chicken biriyani and a small tray of vegetable biriyani for some parties at my place. Ordered a few entrees through Yelp, which was pretty convenient. The food was ready quickly, and was very flavorful. My main complaint is the spicy-ness level. We ordered mild, and what we received was definitely not mild. Either they made a mistake, or they just gave us what they had available. Today I went for Dinner, and ordered for Chick Biryani and Chilly Chicken - The food smells great, but when I tasted chilly chicken it tasted like left over frozen Chicken, kept in fridge and fried few minutes back for serving. The Biryani is not pure authentic but tastes ok but same with the chicken pieces they are not fresh from that day tasted like left over. Overall I would say it is not worth it for the price we spent at this restaurant. I have a few choice Indian restaurants that I frequent in the metro Framingham area, and Paradise Biryani Pointe in Westborough has become one of my favorites. The Tandoori is the best I've ever tasted. Contrary to one review, I thought the Shrimp Biryani was delicious, with generous amounts of shrimp cooked perfectly. I've also had the Tika Masala which I found to be quite good. I would suggest that they put photographs next to the items on the website. Also, I would suggest having a pre-priced meal including an appetizer and two entries with bread and desert, similar to one of their competitors. They have a drive window on the side for take out, so it is very convenient to order, and then pick up quickly. All in all, I like this place, and recommend it. read more

This is my second visit. Tried Chaat Items that have been newly introduced. We ordered Samosa Chaat and Dahi Papri chaat. The portions were generous and the taste was just right for Adults and Kids to munch in. This was followed by Egg Biryani and the taste of Biryani remains the same. It is a good Dum Biryani. This is a stupid place. They don't have any sense of spice levels. You ask them for medium spicy and it turns out to be sweet. On a prior visit the guy taking the order didn't ask for any spice levels and brought a rather hot and spicy biryani. When asked, he said it was made at a default medium spice level. This place DOES NOT cook food to order on the premises. It's all micro-waved food. The prices are not reasonable for that type of food. The Biryani rice was dry and hard, and the mutton was less meat and more bones. The Double Ka Meetha (Bread Pudding), instead of a decent piece (should be the size of a browny, only more moist) was more like crumbs scraped from some leftover storage container. I have eaten at some of their other franchisees and was looking forward to this opening close to home. But sadly a big disappointment. Its worst place that i have visited in this part of region. This is second or third time that i picked up from this place and they have delivered wrong order with chicken whereas i ordered VEG and when i called them up, person on the other side was very rude and did not even ready to say sorry till i pointed out that he was showing empathy or apologetic. he just said its closing time and you can come tomorrow we will change for something. I had this issue with hot breads couple of time but the response and service was apt and they served. We have been paradise biryani fans since many years and we liked the food at this location. paradise chicken fry and gobi manchurian were awesome and our kids liked them very much. Chicken biryani was very good , the spice level was medium to hot and it tasted very good. We ordered Double Ka Meetha dessert item which seems to be the speciality in paradise for which I would give 5 stars.
