    Grouper sandwich

Really solid food & bev counter right on the beach. I enjoyed my blackened grouper sandwich (the filet was huge) and my pina colada was good too. They have lots of tables open nearby on the patio, and more dedicated chairs on the sand.

Friendly staff and one of the best grouper sandwiches I've had in St Pete. It's right next to the beach so the ambiance is perfect; what more could you ask for? Oh you asked for beer? Yes, they have that too :)

Had spent the morning at Pass-a-Grille Beach, and needed a place for lunch that would take a person covered in suntan lotion, sand, and sweat. You can walk right up to the counter and place your order. They give you a beeper to let you know when it is ready. I ordered a simple grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and a strawberry smoothie. The smoothie was ice cold and delicious, perfect for super hot beach day. The grilled cheese was simply perfection! Crispy, with just that slight salty bite to it, I wish I could go back more often! The fries were delicious as well. Lots of seating to pick from, and quite a few areas that had umbrellas or shade. Attached to the restaurant are changing rooms, as well as bathrooms, which was very convenient. Would highly recommend!

Love this place. We were in St Pete for 10 days and came here to eat and hang out at least 6 of those days. We love the atmosphere, food, drinks and music. Service was fast and when you sit in one of the colorful chairs facing the ocean you always meet someone new.

This spot is right on the beach and looks out to the water, so it's beautiful. It's picnic table style, order at the bar and wait for your food. We had cheeseburgers that were very good, and I'm picky about my burgers. Service is a little slow but they're busy and small, so come patient! I would say the customer service is lacking - don't expect warmth, however, I watched them have to deal with a lot of rude snow birds so I empathize.

Their breakfast sandwich (scrambled eggs, sausage patty, cheese, on a toasted English muffin) is the best breakfast sandwich on the planet. This is true for both locations, St. Pete Beach and Pass-a-Grille. The two locations are a different beach experience. St. Pete Beach is the classic, wide, white sand beach with the cafe set in the dunes; Pass-a-Grille is a short beach which puts you very near the sound and energy of the surf. I honestly can't say I prefer one over the other, they're so different. BUT...they're equally good, including the food.

We come to St. Pete at least once a year and every time we go to the other Paradise Grill multiple times. Because of the hurricanes it is closed so we decided to try this location and it did not disappoint! It is on the beach and has a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and they have an excellent breakfast! It's literally my kids favorite place to eat!

the food was okay. it wasn't anything crazy. Tenders needed seasoning. Fries were actually good. My bf said the grouper was an 8/10. There is outdoor seating and there was a man singing. The strawberry daiquiri is amazing!!!

Right on the beach, grabbed some breakfast here. Wasn't as overpriced as the other restaurants nearby. Got the egg sandwich and it came with homefries too. And of course if you were to eat here you can look right at the beach.

Found this place by accident walking around Pass a Grille beach area and saw an olen table outside. All their seating is outdoor as this is a beachfront cafe. We ordered a pound of peel and eat shrimp that was perfectly blacked and grilled, a half pound hamburger, and drinks. My wife was thrilled with the strawberry daiquiri and I just had a can of coconut water. We were thrilled with the service, food, and location. This is exactly what we were looking for later in the evening at the gorgeous beach.

The waterfront setting adds a lot to the experience, with nice views over the inlet. There used to be a dock where you could pull your boat right up, but it didn't survive the hurricane. Drinks are strong and the selection is solid. On the food side, the shrimp and grits is a standout, and the coconut curry mussels with saffron sauce might be the best thing on the menu. The smoked fish spread is locally made and genuinely good, the fish tacos were a hit at the table, and the crab cakes are done properly with real lump crab meat, not filler. Bathrooms are clean and service comes with genuine warmth. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and handled our large table well without missing a beat. This is a place I'll keep coming back to.

The restaurant offers a wonderful waterfront view. We enjoyed watching the boats go by. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the following: Oysters Ceviche Florida gulf grouper Whole yellowtail snapper The ceviche featured local catch, shrimp, tuna, scallops, and citrus. It was fresh and tasty. The oysters on the other hand, was not... I love raw oysters, but ones we received did not look appetizing at all. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't any better. I don't like to waste food, so I tried to power through and kept telling myself maybe the next one will be better. I had to spit out the fourth. We asked the staff if the oysters were fresh and they assured that they were, but we politely shared our feedback regarding the look and flavor. Fortunately, the ceviche and the entrees more than made up for the oysters. The grouper entree came with coconut rice, green beans, citrus butter, and fruit salsa while the snapper entree came with whole fish fried crisp, Thai mango sauce, green beans, and coconut rice. Both were excellent and we highly recommend them. Prices were reasonable, too. I have to mention that the bathrooms are on the second floor accessible by stairs. It didn't appear there was another restroom on the main floor or an elevator. We enjoyed (most of) the meal, the service, and the ambiance so much that my husband returned to Buoy's just a couple of weeks later and brought his father, and they let me know they had a great experience.

The atmosphere was laid-back and the service was excellent from start to finish. We started with the jambalaya as an appetizer, and it was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Although the restaurant has beautiful waterfront seating, we chose to sit inside since it was very hot outside. We started with the Louisiana Seafood Gumbo (bowl, $13.97), which was delicious. The Chicken Wings ($13.89 for 6 pieces) were outstanding and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. They were definitely my favorite dish of the meal. We also tried the Shrimp-N-Grits ($27.97), which was a unique combination of Argentine red shrimp, creamy cheese grits, sausage, tomatoes, scallions, and other ingredients. It was flavorful and different from anything we've had before. The Jambalaya ($21.93) was just okay. It had plenty of ingredients, but it was a little too salty for my taste. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant also has a full bar and, I believe, live music in the evenings, making it a great place to relax. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in St. Pete Beach.
