I had a very nice experience at Paradise Nails. I stopped by for a pedicure because I was in the area, and was taken right away. The woman who completed my services was very friendly, and I was satisfied with her work. I got the exfoliating pedicure ($35) which involves trimming & shaping toe nails, cuticle cutting plus exfoliation, a sugar scrub, a foot mask with heated towels, and a lotion massage. I also ended up adding a basic manicure that she did for me while my feet soaked in the massaging pedicure chair, which made me and my back very happy. Really, my only suggestion is that they update their regular nail polish colors. read more

Don't come here. I broke one nail in the airport on my way into town. Lisa was so fixated on the fact that I did not have the full set done there and kept saying "you didn't have your nails done here?" She had one nail to herself and was very argumentative about the unconventional shape I wanted her to make with the one nail. Your job is not to make it look like anything but what I keep telling you to make it look like.... It's crazy to be debated with when you have chose them among any other of the 12 nail salons around. She didn't do that great a job. She put color polish on top of dip powder without asking (no, only top coat was on the other nails)- because remember, her life's mission was to make her 1 nail like the rest. Instead of arguing back with her like she wanted me to- I finished the service, paid and left a standard service worker tip. I came here for the first time a WEEK ago. They didn't even last 24 HOURS before the first nail came clean off. The dip powder is separating from the nail and that's why it's falling off. I've been getting dip powder for years and this has never happened. I lost FIVE nails in just a week. When I came to get them fixed they refused to correct their mistakes because it's been more than four days. I told her I work Monday-Friday and that's why I couldn't come in until today. She refused to do them and told me I had to pay. I showed her that one more nail was lifting so she can see why they were falling off and they just wouldn't fix them. CUT ME TWICE, smeared a dirty cleaning brush through a big drop of blood & straight into my cut, after ignoring my request for a tissue to clean my own blood! Very rushed, fast, and rough job without care, when the salon was not busy and no one was waiting. The drill was painfully used so I asked please be gentle...I got cut pretty well so I kept saying please be careful, don't cut me again. ANOTHER drill cut on my pinky. Blood drops formed and I said hang on can I have a napkin to get the blood (twice)...she didn't respond, grabbed a dusty brush and ***swiped right through my blood with it getting blood on the brush for the next recipient, and putting who knows what dirtiness straight into my cut.***I had to soak my cuts in acetone after that which stung like crazy. I did gel dip nails and they had dents, lumpy shapes, some of my nails had a bulbous appearance when they are naturally nicely shaped. I asked for her to fix a dented area and lumpy spot and she somewhat did. After seeing how it was there was no point in fixing it better if this was already the work level, would just be a waste of energy and time. I gave 2 stars because her personality was friendly and she took time to explain a lot of info on gel dip nails. Countless reviews of INJURING & poor practices and if you don't care to adjust the standards...you don't deserve for me not to share that this is a hazardous salon that should be avoided until it cares enough to change. I hate this place, this is my second time having the worst experience! First time I went was years ago and I showed a nail tech a picture of what I wanted and it looked nothing like the photo. I went there today with my daughter who is a minor and sister and specifically asked them for a certain service (polish change) and when I was waiting for them to finish, they tried to upsell them to get a full pedicure!! Instead of the $50 I was told to pay $96!! I do not recommend this place to anyone, and the staff there including the manager does not understand the meaning of customer service I'll be reporting this business because they gave me once again terrible service. Honestly I really want to put 0 stars. I am so freaking upset that for the holidays I have a 1st degree burn on my eyebrows. This is sensitive skin and lady that did my eyebrows was very careless on how she managed the wax. She did not assure that the wax cooled down before placing it on my skin. Aloe Vera is not cutting it, my eye is in pain, the burns hurt. I told her that the wax was hot and she stated that I was okay, and she proceeded to do my eyebrows. The most terrible quality of work, gels were lifting at the base. After one week. I went back after 7 days after gel manicure and explained and showed my nails to them. They refused to fix it, they claim that gel can last a week. They also claimed that I did too many things with my hands, and the only thing I do is work on the computer. This was not the first time it happened, the first time they fixed it. They tried to tell me that it's normal like I'm some kind of an idiot. Do not go to the salon. 1. On Tuesday I went to get my nails done based on an abstract design I found online. I showed it to the nail tech immediately who confirmed he could do it. He began putting a color on my nails that I said looked too pink instead of the nude I asked for. He said it was nude and would be nude when he was finished. He brought out a box that only had 10 or so colors in it, saying these were the only colors that could be used for designs. He didn't tell me this before despite seeing the picture of what I expected. He started applying colors he said were 'similar' but they weren't what I asked for. There were masks, a language barrier and a glass divider between us and we began to have trouble understanding each other. This is no one's fault. But I had work in the next hour and didn't have any more time to go back and forth with him or anyone else about shades and colors. I called as soon as I left the salon to schedule a nail fix the next morning. ------------------------------------------------ 2. When I came in the next morning for my appointment, I showed the new tech, Nina, the picture and explained the problem. Immediately she asked why I didn't tell it to the other tech. I explained to her I did tell him, and that he was not able to use other colors and insisted on the pink. She then asked me his name. I told Nina I did not remember. (It was a walk in, and no one in the establishment wears a name tag.) She tells me it's my responsibility to know who did my nails. I told her no, it wasn't-I paid with a card, had a receipt and they have a computer system- if she wants to know who worked, it isn't my responsibility to identify them. Also, if my nails need to be fixed by someone else, (as agreed upon with the receptionist I spoke to) why does it matter? Before I sit down, she asks me again why I didn't pick out each color for the nail tech myself. I tell her *for the third time* that he refused to work with any colors other than the 7-10 that were in one single box. She spent the next several minutes thing to go back and forth with me about why the incident was my fault. Up until the moment I left the chair, she was complaining about having to "spend an hour on me" despite my plan to pay her for her time anyway (which I still did, despite the rudeness.) While Nina did a good job fixing my nails, no one paying for a service (for the second time) should be spoken to this way. If nail techs struggle with communication or rudeness, someone with better customer service skills (like the receptionist) should handle interactions at the front desk. And if nail techs are unable to do certain color and design work, they should just say so. Despite the complaints of my nail tech, the person whose time was wasted the most was absolutely mine. I gave this place three stars because when I first walked in I was greeted and seen quickly. However, when it came to choosing my nail color I wanted like a light fleshy pink color. Every color I chose they told me it wasn't gonna be that same color. Then I got another nail technician and he didn't let me know that the color would be so dark. He did a good job on my nails but he didn't talk to me at all and that's not good customer service. It was clean and that was great. At the end of the day, I don't have a job that's gonna make it hard about what nails I have. But I want what I want.. so there's that. read more

I have tried many different salons and always come back here. Cannot go wrong with Holly. She is the best at dip manicures. I am never disappointed, I always leave completely happy and satisfied. They have a HUGE color selection which makes things difficult in a good way! Tough decisions at the nail salon! Covid compliant.
