We popped into this tasting room quickly as my brother loves this wine, and he has given it to me as a gift before. It's really delicious. We enjoyed it. The people are super friendly . I can't really remember what I liked the most, but I do know that the gal said I'll pour you another glass if you like. She was so sweet. You don't need to make a reservation you can just walk in. They've got beautiful tables. You can go right up to the bar. They do have some food you can order.

Melville tasting room was such a great experience! The staff was really knowledgeable and passionate about their wines, the tasting room had a touch of modern, and the wines were delicious! I had a flight of three Pinot Noirs and two Syrahs and they all were great! If you're in Santa Barbara, Melville is highly recommended!

Such a cute spot and decorated super cute for Christmas! Everyone that worked there was super friendly and attentive. They gave good recommendations of wine and never left our glasses empty! Just stopped in walking down the street and so glad we did!

Beautiful place to enjoy a lovely selection of wines. The cheese plate was fantastic and the employees were so friendly. The owner was working tonight and she is fabulous. Had a great time with a friend, thank you!

Tastings are $35 for 5 wines, they heavily produce Pinot Noir and Syrah's. The winery is located 45 minutes north of Santa Barbara, the tasting room is located in the funk zone of downtown Santa Barbara, the tasting room attendants are attentive and friendly, opted for a tasting and bought a glass of their sparkling wine (Blanc de Blancs) overall a great vibe, will recommend if Rhône and burgundy are your favorite varieties.

Nice place to take a break while touring around downtown SB. I didn't love the wines, but the staff is friendly, the music is good, and the cheeseboard is fantastic.

Cute wine tasting room right on the main street in Santa Barbara and pretty close to the water too. For $20 you get to try 5 different wines. They also have some light bites you can order as well. I love Pinot noir so I was excited to try Melville's. However, I personally felt like their pinots were a little too light bodied for me. I only really liked the block m Pinot noir. Their Chardonnay is really good though when I don't usually like whites/Chardonnay. Much crisper and not as buttery. Service was good and the lady helping us was open to answering questions and explaining more about the wine.

This tasting gets my award for being the most Modern and sleek. It was more trendy and posh feeling then some of the others I went to during this trip, which mostly were mire rustic, Tuscan, or "offbeat." The wines were good as well. We did the 5 wine tasting for $15. And enjoyed them. I would definitely come back here while exploring the waterfront area about 1.5 blocks from the pier.

Lovely tasting room located in the newly renovated lower State St area, just feet away from Stearns Wharf in one direction and The Funk Zone, in the other. It has a sleek modern interior with bar seating and small group table options. They're also dog friendly! I would recommend eating before or after your visit and trying the $15 flight. I primarily drink Cab Sav and was a little sad to see they did not carry any, however, the Pinot Noirs were just as pleasant as a Cab would've been, for me. My favorite of the flight was the 2016 Estate Pinot Noir, hands down, though all tastes were delicious. Individual glasses were a little pricey, in comparison to the rest of the Funk Zone, ranging $14-24 a glass. The staff were kind and attentive, moving a little slowly with a large crowd but very knowledgeable on their wine selection. There's a single restroom in the back and tons of parking around the area, though not right out front or back of the tasting room. It's a beautiful environment with high quality wines and I would definitely come back for a glass of the 2016 Pinot or to try their future blends.

Great wine, nice ambiance on a sunny day. Quality wine with a lot of nuance to their Pinots, just a little pricy.

This really is the perfect place for both wine AND food…read more So far we've been in a couple times sitting in the bar area and also out on their comfy patio space. Our servers Alex and Kayla were exceptional at both suggesting some delicious lunch items, and also giving a rundown on their different wine tastings. They gave us some helpful information on the assorted varietals and vintages as well. We went in specifically for their M5 and Riviera Rose, but discovered their extensive selection of other varietals and vintages. Came away with some new favorites: Sauvignon Blanc, Trois Blondes (a delicious white blend), Viognier, Mourvedre, and Estate Syrah. Perfect that they open at noon for lunch. We paired our wines with their Santa Barbara Smokehouse Salmon, Smoked Duck and Arugula Salad, Chicken Pesto Sandwich, and Sausage Mushroom & Carmelized Onion Pizza. Still so much on their menu to enjoy.

I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the efforts of one server to keep things afloat outside…read more When we arrived, another large party had just left outside and she immediately cleaned one of their tables so we could sit. It was chilly so she tried to light the heat lamp at my request but both that one and the replacement did not work. The replacement actually had the propane disconnected so I assume someone knew that tank needed to be changed out but didn't do it. The other tables from the large party were full of wine glasses and a half eaten pizza. Those sat there for over an hour, and we watched several groups of people come but leave without being seated because no server was available yo seat them and the only open table hadn't been cleared. When it was finally cleared, one guest at a near by table commented that the pizza shouldn't go to waste. The girl who cleared the table initially carried it inside but came right back out with it and served it to that guest whose kid ate it. I'm all for not wasting food and if the guest had gotten up and grabbed the pizza himself, that would be one thing... but to serve old food that had been sitting out for a long time to a guest is a no no for a business. We otherwise enjoyed most of the wines in our tasting flight. Would've given 5 stars if service had been more timely, tables cleared and old food not served up.

The aesthetic is intentional and well done. Mexican icons on the walls, thoughtful decor throughout, and fresh flower centerpieces that quietly say someone here actually cares. It feels curated, not forced. I've seen a review floating around claiming Angel is rude, which hasn't matched my experience at all. Every interaction I've had has been professional and friendly. This feels more like a busy Friday night where people were camping without ordering wine and didn't love being reminded that a wine bar is, indeed, for drinking wine. Wine + service * Tasting flights are $25 and well curated * They occasionally offer two-for-one wine flights * Small-batch wines produced in the Santa Ynez Valley by Esfuerzo Wines * Standout favorites include the Coyote Rojo Bordeaux-style blend & the Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, refreshing, and easy to love * Marissa, one of the tasting associates, is consistently hospitable and attentive and makes the experience feel effortless Vibe and events * Fridays feature Lotería with a DJ from 6-10pm * Lively without being chaotic * A solid mix of locals, regulars, and people actually there for the wine If you're looking for good wine, a fun atmosphere, and a Funk Zone spot that blends culture with care, Orgullo Wine is doing it right. Taylor and Joe were both so helpful and let us try anything we would like. We bought a beautiful bottle of Pinot Noir from 2021. We had a series of issues from the start. Our assigned waiter was completely inattentive; he ignored our table, failed to check on us, and never brought the cheese board we ordered. We eventually had to flag down another member of the staff just to get any service at all. Even after we caught his attention, our server seemed aware of us but made no effort to approach or assist. Additionally, the wait time for our wine flights was excessively long. When the cheese board finally arrived, I was shocked to find that all three cheeses were served still inside their original plastic wrappers--not even sliced. To make matters worse, we were provided with plastic knives to cut the cheese ourselves, which was incredibly difficult and frustrating. I have never encountered a cheese board served this way at any establishment. I really wanted to enjoy this visit, and I want to give credit to the other waitresses who were working that day--they were great and were the only saving grace of the experience. However, the lack of basic service and the bizarre presentation of the food made this a trip I wouldn't recommend
