My husband & I decided that we needed a getaway for our anniversary & my birthday on on the next day so we booked the champagne tower jaccouzi & we stayed for three days. It was absolutly everything that we expected. I must admit that it was pricy but it was worth it.The place was beyond beautiful. Our room was supper clean the food was excellent. The only reason I wont give it five stars its because all inclusive included only breakfast & dinner the rest was up to you we had to pay for most of the activities which we were not aware of but thank God we had the extra cash cause otherwise we wouldn't enjoy it as much. The place is kitschy. The place needs an update. The place is tame (largely a post-40 crowd, definitely not any scandalous fun going on outside the rooms). The spa was booked way ahead of time so we were unable to take advantage of any of that. With that being said, the place is what you make of it. We were upgraded to a champagne tower on a Groupon and it was clean, the round bed was actually really comfy, the pool in the room was awesome, and generally we liked it a lot. It is a good place to bond and have fun times alone with your hubby. The food was really excellent - comes with breakfast and dinner all inclusive. The optional lunch menu also was tasty so A+ on the food. Drinks are also pretty reasonably priced for a resort, especially at happy hour. Annie, who was the social director for our weekend, was incredibly friendly and awesome. We played some couples games with her (bingo and the newlywed game) for some tame fun. We took advantage of the game room, outdoor and indoor pools, mini golf, and nightly concert. Again, they are decent quality and they are what you make of them- if you are a fun person and can go with the flow with a good attitude, you will have fun here. read more

I'm giving them two stars instead of one because of the jacuzzis in the room. They would get four or possibly five stars if they took care of the grounds. This is our third time here and the property seems to get mor dilapidated each year. Some of the Villas on the pond are actually crumbling while most, if not all of the villas on the pond have structural damage. It concerns me that if they aren't keeping the grounds in decent order than how serious are they about cleanliness, especially for the bedding. We're here on Fourth of July week and the place should be completely full but it's not. I'd say it's about half full and I can wager that's because the grounds are dilapidated and not well cared for. If they took more pride in keeping the buildings in better shape and took care of the grounds better, they'd be fully occupied like most places in the Poconos. read more

I want to start off by saying my boyfriend and I did have an okay time here but it was because we made it fun ourselves and found activities to do other places. The staff at the resort was rude, especially in the "lounge" called spooners and the food that is included was what we expected, horrible and fake looking. The frozen drinks were good that were made by Catherine. All other drinks and food made me gag, and they messed our order up when we ordered a chicken parm sandwich, they made us a meatball parm. Again most of the time I would never complain or write a review this horrible but we paid almost $2,000 for 4 nights which is WAY overpriced. The room at first glance was nice, we stayed at the champagne towers which is the most expensive room. The first morning we woke up with a nice big slug in the champagne tub. Again would not complain, BUT we put the "clean our suite please" sign in our door and no one cleaned it for multiple days but they did bring clean towels so someone must have just completely ignored the sign....Again most people only come for a night or 2 here so the fact that we stayed for 4 nights and were treated disrespectfully and I came to celebrate my 21st birthday so I wanted to buy a couple frozen drinks for myself on vacation. The first day we were there the bartenders were great and served me as many drinks as I wanted so I didn't have to walk back and forth all day. Awesome right! Nope, the next day the rude manager Sophia and Food and drink manager would not let me purchase more than one drink at a time since my "significant other was still 20" after that ridiculous rule was put in place, I drove to the liquor store down the street and purchased a case of trulys for myself for the same price as 2 frozen of their frozen drinks!!!! Yay!! Poorly run business. New management should be considered if the resort would like high paying customers to return again. The next day the bartender was super nice again and let me take as many drinks as I wanted. At least be consistent and inform your staff if you are going to put a rule in place. Our room was not cleaned a single day and we had the sign in it every day and was gone most of the mornings/afternoons when they normally come around to clean. I will attach photos. For a place that claims to care about "love" they don't show it by who is apart of their staff. There are supposed to be free activities and we only got to do fishing, and archery (which both suck because it's the kid version of everything) so basically you need to be drunk to have a good time but that's hard to do when the bartender won't serve you at the only bar at the resort!!! Every other time we wanted to sign out a free activity they weren't available. So much for free activities. They only care about milking more and more money out of you throughout the trip. Anything that's included sucks, all the good stuff you have to pay a way overpriced amount for. Anyway we did enjoy horseback riding, long boarding, walking around in nature and going to Bushkill falls, ALL NOT LOCATED AT THE RESORT. so if you stay here do not leave your room (unless there's a slug in your tower.) ALSO 4 of our key cards deactivated even though we kept them purposefully away from any electronics or other credit cards and we were locked out and when we tried to call it would disconnect us because of bad service or wouldn't put me through to the right person. Not worth the money. Place is extremely outdated, mildew in the jacuzzi that I spent extra money to have and couldn't use it. Spider web galore, killed 4 spiders during our 2 day stay. Towels were dirty when we got there. Sink broken, what looked like a blood stain on quilt, found a nail in the pool, door didn't close all the way, paid for all inclusive and had to buy good because the food wasn't cooked well. Booked a room on Groupon for a few nights. Hesitant about what some reviewers were saying, but took the chance and so glad that we did. Went to check in and our room wasn't ready. Kind of annoying after a hike in Bushkills and we really wanted to shower and clean up. Took about 45 minutes after the "check in time" for our room to be ready. Annoying, but they were at least friendly about it, and we had fun playing in the arcade until our room was ready. Room was awesome and pretty decently kept. When we went to open our coffee, we realized the housekeepers hadn't replaced the coffee from the last guests and we were left with just "coffee wrappers". Our shower also overflowed into the actual bathroom, probably because the drain was clogged, which required a surplus of towels and a lot of careful maneuvering on our part. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our room and spent a lot of time relaxing! The hotel activities were awesome and plenty! We enjoyed taking advantage of all of what the resort had to offer! We played shuffleboard, mini golf, tennis, badminton, archery, and went paddleboating. Everything was great. Mini golf course could probably be updated or at least painted---but everything was fun, the staff was accommodating and kind. We even went to the comedy club on our night of arrival and enjoyed a few drinks--very good drinks and very funny act--a great start to our vacation. This has to be the first and last time I would ever come to this "resort". Came here with my significant other thinking we were going to have a nice romantic weekend but unfortunately this motel looking "resort" has rooms that aren't even cleaned properly. I stayed in the champagne tower suite. I had two room changed until one was decently cleaned and in the last room the steam shower nor sauna worked. First room has cob webs and whirlpool was dirty Second room we found a condom floating around in our pool. I came here on Wednesday and checking out today which is Friday. This place I would highly recommend to any couple who needs a getaway. I recently just came back from their resort and it was beautiful. Me and my now FIANCEE ( yes i proposed here) had the Lakeside Villa Suite, which was amazing nice size and just perfect for an engagement surprise. Also i had purchased the suite seduction package and notified them that i would like to set it up on the second stay at 8:30pm and with no problems at all, they came through and succeeded. The only issue I had was the fact that the spa only excepts credit cards and not cash. But other than that the food was amazing they had photographers there that you can take pictures. Also any outdoor activity is free with just a waiver and your i.d. Where to start? We had the lake side villa room, very cute. Room was very very very clean! Food was great, I loved everything and my boyfriend kept complementing how good the fish was. Customer service awesome all through out the resort, from the poolside bar to the gift shop! Activities on the resort okay, we drove 5 minutes to ride atvs, 10 minutes to the casino, and 15 minutes to the shooting range. Love the fact you have access to the pool and hot tub 24/7. After many stays at Pocono Palace we decided to give Paradise Stream a shot. At check in we were greeted by Monica at the front desk. She was super nice and ultra informative. We booked the Lakeside Villa and to us the room is perfect. The Champagne Towers and Roman Tower was to big for us and the villas have a deck just like our favorite room at Pocono Palace the Fantasy Apple. It was clean and had all the appropriate toiletries needed. There is not as much to do on the grounds but that is made up for in friendly awesome service. My wife and I have been treated literally like Kings and Queens our 2 days here so far. We are enjoying our stay, its gonna be a bummer to check out tomorrow and go back to reality. Once again thank you to Monica at the front desk has been the absolute best along with all the staff we have encountered. I recommend Paradise Stream for couples looking to be pampered by the staff while spending a lot of time in their room as we like to split our time between the room and activities on and local to the resort. read more

Before choosing this trip I read reviews and just knew we would have a good time because we are both very positive people who can make the most of every situation. That was not the case at PS. Their price is WAY above all other in the area. $350 a night for the cheapest room. We reviewed their website and all the activities it claimed to have and decided to go for it thinking we could pay a flat fee and do whatever our hearts desired. This was a huge splurge for us but we did it any way. We had big plans for sledding, snow shoeing, ice skating, snowmobiling, skiing, bonfires and resort style dining. Upon checkin we were given a list of the daily activities, a map of the resort, our room number and keys. That's it. Dry reception, no additional info or tour. We took the information pamphlets and headed back to the room to plan what we were going to do. We looked over and over and could not find the above mentioned snow activities we had expected and planned on doing (according to their website and information given over the phone by their staff). When Questioned we were told that they currently only have ice skating at Cove Haven which was 45 min. away. We had just traveled 8 hours to this resort expecting it there! We were not going to travel even more for ice skating. As for skiing, tubing and snowmobiling, they were offered at the Ski resorts for a very high price. If we wanted to pay for our activities we would have booked a cheap room at the casino or at the ski resort! I was furious!!! We made our way to the "night club". I ordered a single drink for $12. Then they began the next activity: BINGO. I was really excited until I found out it was $5 a card. What happened to all inclusive? I was so upset by this point I wanted to go home. We went to dinner and we're sat right next to the only other 4 diners there. Our server said we would have to wait for a cocktail server if we wanted anything besides soft drinks. The cocktail server came around once the whole meal. He completely messed up our drinks and began to blame us for his mistake. The food was so terrible. We asked if we could get it and our desert to go. We were not allowed to take any food to go. We headed back to our room very hungry but since we had gotten up at 4am that morning to make the drive there we decided to head to bed early. Day one down and we had yet to enjoy a single "inclusive" benefit. Day 2. We began hungry and headed to breakfast. We requested a table away from the other 4 diners and were told no. Worse than any free hotel continental breakfast!We decided to get as far away from the resort as possible and explore other activities in the area. The casino was amazing. Amazing food and drinks for a fraction of the cost. Dinner at PS this night is something I'd rather not even think about let alone describe. Our waitress was extremely rude and smelled so bad we were both nauseous. The beef ravioli had no sauce and tasted like tuna. I had to leave the room before getting sick. You have to purchase fire logs for $9 each which burn for 1.5 hours. Can't use other wood. This day we paid nearly $600 for activities and such not included in the "all inclusive". Day 3: we gave breakfast another try, still as bad. I asked for coffee and the waitress threw a fit because she would have to "go all the way to the kitchen to get it". All staff was worse than the worst. This day we paid $20 for bingo and $25 for drinks during bingo and were yelled at by the staff for bringing our Gatorade in the bar with us. Apparently we're suppose to know the "no outside food or drink" rule nobody told us about. $20 for wine tasting. The pool and hot tub are disgusting. The game room will eat your money and games don't work. No staff in game room for help. Again dinner was terrible, didn't eat. We, along with others sat back in disbelief that the magician/mentalist was allowed to call himself a magician or even an entertainer. Day 3: zero inclusive food or activities enjoyed, $200 additional money spent for food and entertainment. Please, train your staff on how to provide service. You are a resort and your staff should treat guest as such. I've been on 2 week long vacations, including flights, food and entertainment in Mexico, the Bahamas, Hawaii, etc which were 10 times better and cheaper than 3 days at this resort. We have never experienced such terrible service in our lives! If I were the owner I'd rather work 24 hours a day myself than allow the current staff to ruin my business and reputation. Please stop with the false advertising online! My husband is in the military and between both of our work travel schedules we hardly see each other let alone get to take a trip together. We finally got a long weekend together and we're so excited to spend it at PS. I'm so saddened and so upset by this trip. You all should be ashamed! I am kind of glad we are only spending a night here. Everything has already been said, but I will throw down some highlights. * No WiFi in the room, and no cell signal. * Even with a living social deal it seemed over priced for the issues -- I didn't realize there was built in tips.... I have been to more expensive hotels and I have never had a mandatory tip. Because we don't know how much is going where and to whom, we decided not to tip more. * The old hotel room smell -- we got that in our room. Once the vent in the pool kicked on and it distinctly smelled of cigarette smoke. * There were foul smells everywhere. * There was broken glass on the pool deck. * There was toothpaste spit marks in our skin. * The towels all smelled like old gym towels -- the kind where they are so old and sweaty no matter how much they wash them they will never be fresh. * Breakfast was gross, but Dinner was surprising decent. * Game room smelled so bad that I immediately had to exit, and I am almost threw up. My wife and I married on October 12, 2015 and had our honeymoon at Paradise Stream via a Groupon deal. By the end of our trip, we regretted even going anywhere for our honeymoon and not waiting until we had saved up enough to go somewhere nicer. Generally the staff was pretty friendly. The food was fine. The things to do on the grounds were more limited than the other campuses of Cove Haven, but because our stay was meant to be short, we were fine with it. We visited the game room, did some archery and fishing, and borrowed the bikes. A good deal of equipment was broken, and there wasn't really anywhere to bike to. The game room didn't have much either. The big issue was our room. We had the Diana Oasis room which came with a hot tub and a small heated pool. Upon our arrival I noticed a few flies but I figured it was out in the country and this was normal. We killed the few and moved on. When we tried going into our private pool, there were a few dead bugs. You find that in any pool really, but got out pretty soon after that. The hot tub also had a dead bug. It was our last day and that's when things really went bad. We woke up to find at least 15 flying ants in our bed and on the mirror behind our bed (see pics). After calling the front desk, we were told to wait 10 minutes. After no one appeared, my wife went to the front desk and came back with the director of housekeeping, Jann. She at first claimed that she didn't see the bugs but after I pointed them out in the blanket she said that the room needed to be treated. There were definitely undertones of blame as she told us that we should've pointed out that there had been bugs. She offered a room upgrade but only until 6 PM that day. We we leaving that day anyway and had plans back at home that night, so it didn't make sense to pack up to change rooms for a few hours, just to pack up and leave. Plus we simply weren't comfortable being there anymore (my wife was quite traumatized), so I thought it was best that we go straight home and ask for a refund for that night instead. Jann at first agreed but then said that she couldn't since it was done through Groupon, so we would have to ask Groupon. We reached out to Groupon, gave them Jann's name as the Director of Housekeeping for the reference. We later got a response that the hotel feels they do not have to issue a refund since they offered us another room (that is useless to us). They offered us something we couldn't use, and feel like they now owe us nothing. After we had to sleep in a bed full of bugs. Thanks... I would avoid this place. read more

The lounge was great. Fun night life and great atmosphere. We stayed in the Champagne Tower suite. We weren't able to use the jacuzzi because there was no warm or hot water and the pool was extremely dirty; we didn't get to enjoy that either. We arrived an hour after the check in time and the room was still not ready made us wait an additional 45 mins. I would not recommend going here in the winter as they do not maintain their roads or side walks. There were huge icicles hanging from the of hangs that you had to walk under to get to your room, not very safe and it created ice under neither in the walkway that someone could have easily slipped on. The food is horrible, salad way to much dressing, dinner way to much sauce tasted like a frozen meal. The only enjoyable things were the pool in the room and the hot tub although the hit tub was shallow. This place is extremely over priced. If it were in the $120-$150 a night range I'm sure many more people would visit and enjoy their stay but at triple that price its absolutely not worth it. read more

The staff were very courteous and approachable. We were even offered a free room upgrade with a private pool. We arrived late due to a storm, and missed dinner. They made it up to us by providing a free lunch. There is plenty to do in your room. The jacuzzi fits 2 average height individuals well. The pool was fun. The circle bed was interesting. The atmosphere in the room was perfect for the occasion. It was too cold to do the outdoor activities. We only left to go eat or quickly shop at a local store. The outlet mall was a nice trip too. I had to give lower ratings for facilities and cleanliness because there is a serious air quality/ mold problem. The black mold greeted me in the bathroom and smacked the inhaler out of my hand. They tried to treat it, but it is too embedded everywhere. There is no ventilation in the room or dining area. The sneezing and hacking disturbed my dinner. Others were having the same issue, so I know this wasn't in my head. This mold made things very uncomfortable. Also, lunch is NOT included. They do have a cafe, but don't bother going. The "chef" is gross, as is the food. Fried smelly food, and your clothes will smell like they were cooked in old grease when you leave. The game room was behind the cafeteria, looked decent and I saw people paying for games. The pool looked nice as well. OH! Drinks are not free ($7+). Bring your own alcohol for your room; you won't be able to take it with you to the dining area. Photos are $10 each. Go to the Wal-Mart down the street and pick of a stack of wood for the fire place. The fire "log" at the gift shop is a $7 starter log, and will not burn for 3 hours. You will not have WiFi in your room. Only in the cafe/game room, and weak signal in the dining area. Scattered cell service with Verizon. Everything is a money trap. Decent movies are $15.99, adult $24-36. Bring a laptop with DVDs. read more

The staff was polite but not really helpful, all inclusive couples resort had dinner on fri night from 5:30 to 8:00!!! And after that your only option is cafe that can be only described as mediocre. Room service is only available at certain times of the day!!! The cottages were nice with great quality bed and bedding(which was a pleasant surprise), excellent wood burning fireplace but the champagne that we ordered for the room was $3 per bottle ... We booked a 4 day 3 night stay here for our mini honeymoon with a groupon deal. We booked the Diana Oasis suite with our inclusive package of breakfast and dinner. Overall our experience was not what we expected and we felt that the advertising for this resort was extremely misleading. Our room was nice and had all the amenities as described. Some of the vents and shower heads were a bit dusty and rusty but for the most part everything was functional and clean. The layout is a little weird being that the bathroom is right as you walk in. Also the air conditioner does not seem to cool down the bedroom area because of the location of it. The jacuzzi was nice and we used it for a bubble bath. The private pool was also a nice feature and we used that quite a bit. My only complaint about the private pool was it was not as clean around the pool and mirrors as we had hoped. There was dust and bugs hanging out on the sides of the pool and the mirrors had several spots on them...which while we are on the topic of mirrors they are everywhere in your room. The activities that were advertised were a bit exaggerated. The game room is nice and has several games to choose from. The mini golf area is small and very rundown. The pool was nice and the pool bar was also a plus. I wish that they stayed open later into the night for people who were not interested in the nightclub activities. As advertised the "pond" was more of a small pool for the local geese to use as a bathroom. There was bird poop everywhere around the resort. The island of love was more of a dumping hill for them. We decided to try paddleboating before discovering this. The docks are floating and very old. There are two old paddle boats and two old row boats for the whole resort. That should tell them something. The nature trail was really just a small path in the woods. The loggers have started to clear the area so the trail was filled with tree limbs and brush. The baseball field is at the end of the trail. It doesn't look like it has been used in quite some time. The entertainment in the nightclub was good. I do wish there was a little bit more though. The shows are short and sweet and the bar closes early. Erica the bartender is great. She gave us a lot of information to make our stay as pleasant as possible and her customer service was excellent. The food here was frozen, processed and overcooked. The restaurant decor is extremely outdated. The service is also disorganized and frantic. There is one cocktail waitress handling all drink orders. Most nights we would be eating dinner when we received our drinks. The waitstaff was very friendly, apologetic and accommodating. The reflection on them is directly related to poor management. It never felt like a relaxing and personal evening having several people handle your dinner. One waitress should be responsible for delivering great customer service. Having them handle 8 different parties (or the entire room if they are cocktailing) is unacceptable. I am not sure what you are paying them but it is not enough. We got our pictures done in the main lobby on night 2. The photographer was a bit in personal and seemed to rush through them. We ended up buying two out of four. The editing of them was a bit sloppy. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this resort. It's sad because this could really be a great place with a bit of updating and work. If I paid the full price for the room I would be more dissapointed. I decided to give them 3 stars instead of 2 because the staff really made it. Paradise Stream is not paradise. read more

The entertainment was underwhelming, the food was subpar, and everything was delayed . Upon arrival we had to wait close to 3 hours to be given the key for our room in their lobby. Guest services was wildly unhelpful and unapologetic of any discrepancies. The place as a whole is relatively outdated and there are just so many better ways to spend your money. I sincerely implore you to save it for a vacation out of state or a cruise. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially not in the winter, they don't even do simple ground maintenance to make sure that half of their services are available: Archery, Mini Golf etc. Also, the alarm clock surprised us at around 1am after we had already fallen asleep, had this been my own alarm clock I would have thrown it against a wall. Thumbs up Paradise Stream Resort Management and Staff for providing a pleasant experience for our stay this weekend. This experience was 95-100% better than our stay two weeks ago. Check in is at 330 so you naturally assume rooms are ready and available at that time. This was the first time we experienced a delay. The gentleman at the front desk said he would call when ready. We received the call at 430 which was ok. We ran over to Mt Airy casino to kill time. I wouldn't want to experience this type of delay every time but the wait was worth it. Our request for a specific room number was honored and it was clean...mirrors and all. The TV was dust free as was everything else. This should be the experience with every visit. One minor complaint would be the pool water. It had many ants and bugs in it. I think the skimmer and filter need to be cleaned. Once we scooped them out we were able to relax and enjoy the pool. The water temp in room 510 was perfect. So was the pool room temp. We really had a nice time. Two thumbs up for accommodating staff. We had been interested in coming out for the distorted divas show in November. However the Diana's Oasis room wasn't showing available on line. At checkout today I inquired as to whether Room 510 was available for November 11. I explained that due to our work schedules it is impossible for us to do a two night stay this time of year. Simone the shift supervisor was very helpful. Much to my delight she told me room 510 was available for one night only on November 11. I asked for the room only rate as we don't like the food there. She quoted a price that was much more than what I just paid for this stay so I asked her to explain the rate hike. Then she quoted me a rate of 317 which included taxes and all. I'm glad I asked about the price difference. So I booked immediately which I think there was a price break due to booking while still on our current stay. And to top this all off Simone said that the only thing not included when doing room only is the food. I asked her to confirm that the headliner show distorted divas would be included. She went in back room to check with someone and came out and confirmed that yes my booking for November 11 included the Divas show and we wouldn't have to purchase tickets separately. We are very pleased to learn this and are anxiously awaiting our next trip to Paradise Stream. My husband and I returned home totally relaxed after an enjoyable stay at Paradise Stream. Since the original post, we have gone back every year (twice this year). We were lucky to meet the GM, Patty W., who told us about some of the updates coming in the next year or so. We went there Last Sunday for the Champagne Tower Room and the Swimming Pool was not cleaned from Ages, my wife got Rashes on her skin because of the water in the swimming pool. They need to make sure that their Suites are clean before they give it to their guests who has spent so much money to have a good time. It was a waste of my Time and efforts driving all the way from NYC. This was my 3rd time here but I am not going anymore as their Quality of Service is going on deprecating as I think they are under new Management. read more

I took my fiancée to Paradise Stream Resort for a 30th birthday gift. I was a little skeptical because I had read a bunch of not so good reviews. Well we had a great time!! Our room was one of the most recently renovated rooms and I thought it was very nice. It was clean. We had a pool and heart shaped Jacuzzi and a spacious bathroom. The only problem was that this room didn't have a DVD player or CD player, but we weren't in the room long enough for it to be a big deal. The couples activities didn't really amuse us so we did our own thing. We went paddle boating, hiking, played mini golf, and went in the indoor pool and hot tub. But the best part was both nights we were there they had a good band and a funny comedian. We had a blast listening to music, laughing at the comedians, having a couple drinks and then afterwards we would go play pool. Each day we had breakfast and dinner, which was all you can eat. I wouldn't say the food was wonderful. It was kind of a hit or miss. Some things were good, others not so good. Breakfast you could order omelets and pancakes instead of picking from the buffet. Before dinner they also have appetizers in the lounge. All in all it was fine for us. Basically this resort is what you make of it. We had a nice weekend away from the kids to just relax with each other. We didn't have to worry about spending money because it was all included except for alcohol. The grounds are nice to just walk around and there is plenty of woods to go hiking. They also will have someone shuttle you to Mount Airy Casino and The Crossings Outlets, which we did. So there is really plenty to do, and we enjoyed every minute. read more

Our room was not cleanly at all. We arrived at 3:45pm and checked in. Our floors were covered with ceiling debris. Maintenance came out and had service clean it up but you could physically see the ceiling was still wet and debris was ready to drop. Maintenance acted as if this was normal and advised us new roofs were put on 2 years ago but nothing under the room with moisture was addressed. Next about 45 minutes later we turned on the faucet in the bathroom which then leaked all over the back of the sink and on to the floor. Maintenance came and fixed that side of the sink only to have the other side of the sink then start doing the same thing. He couldn't fix the other side and recommended we only use the right side faucet. Around 9:00pm we began using the Champagne tower bath. Upon filling it up with water, we noticed the water was cold. We called the service desk and was advised to wait 10 minutes and then try again. We tried again in 10 minutes and the water was hot for about 2 minutes and then became ice cold again. Maintenance came again and the same thing happened two more times. I advised I was completely disappointed in having to move and spend almost all of our first night at the resort with their maintenance staff in our room. S Furthermore I have recommended a structural engineer get involved in the inspection process of what is laying under the roof tiles that's causing the condensation and deterioration of the tiles. Our room was a safety hazard and it would be horrible if tiles start falling on occupants. Anyone booking this resort should think long and hard before spending $1,000.00 for two nights. read more

I loved this place . The room was very clean and comfortable . We had the Diana's oasis room . The pool in the room was great . The food was good . My husband and I had a wonderful time there . The staff was really kind especially Stefano and Juanita . I had a little issue checking in & it was not pleasant at all . I was a seriously angry Muslim woman lol but it was fully resolved in the morning by Stefano ! And the rest of the weekend was good .I lost my watch there and they mailed it back to me that was nice . There was alot of things to do on and around the property . Cant wait to go back ! read more

We enjoyed our stay. We were here three years ago so we have been here twice the food was better this time. As well as the entertainment. That was wonderful. The only area that could use some improvement is the cleaning of the hot tub area that was dirty. The first room was filthy I had them change our room. Second room was very clean. My husband planned a surprise getaway for us for 4 days and 3 nights to this resort. We arrived Sunday night before Labor Day and checked out on Thursday morning. I was really happy with our room. My husband booked the room with just the jacuzzi and when we got there on Sunday they gave him a free upgrade to a garden of eden apple suite. When we walked in we were very happy with it. It was clean and spacious and had the heart shaped jacuzzi, round bed, fireplace, heated pool and sauna plus the shower, 2 sinks, toilet and mini fridge. It was nice 2 have 2 flat screen tvs as well and the bose system to play music. My husband paid a lot for the 4 nights thru expedia and it included breakfast and dinner and all the activities but we had a great time. Food was pretty good. We even drove to one of the sister resorts Pocono Palace to do the paddling boats and stood for drinks and appetizers and couples games. Maybe next time we'll stay in that resort to try it out or the other one called Cove Haven. We enjoyed all of the activities, everything in the room and the indoor pool in the game room bldg. We didn't try the outdoor pool cuz it was a bit dirty with leaves and stuff and water was cold. Drinks were good too even though they were kind of pricey. The only complaints we had were that the door to the suite was hard to close but when we told housekeeping about it it was fixed right away in the bottom so we were impressed how quickly they resolved the issue. Also there was no microwave in the room. The last day we were there we wanted to use the jacuzzi again but there was no hot water coming out when we turned the knob so we weren't able to. We realized later on during our stay that they charged us a $26.50 daily resort fee which took us offguard. They said it was cause we booked thru a 3rd party so that was a downer cuz my husband had paid a lot already. Wish it was a bit less pricey to stay there but you can sometimes find a good deal thru expedia or groupon. Overall we had a great time and experience and will definitely return or maybe try Cove Haven or Pocono Palace next time. read more

The staff is very helpful and friendly. A good variety of activities are available throughout the day and evening. Entertainment in the evening was very good. Indoor/outdoor pools and jacuzzis available 24 hours a day. Restaurant and lounge decor is very modern. However, the rooms could use a little updating. We stayed in Lakeside Villa. They are situated on The shoreline of Lake Eden and resemble stand alone "Italian cabins". We definitely liked this feature vs a standard hotel of rooms joined together. Dinner and breakfast are included and the food is good, however, cocktails are extra. Champagne is served with dinner which is a limited menu. My wife and I planning on returning for our anniversary and possibly upgrading to the champagne towers or spending a few extra days in the Villa. read more

My husband and I went here for our first getaway trip together. We were both nervous about coming here based on the reviews here, TripAdvisor, etc... all I can say that it is whatever you make it to be. There were some things I'd like, and there were some things that I would do so much differently if we were to come back again. We stayed at the Garden of Eden. Pros: -Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Donna from the front desk was awesome. Their bartenders were awesome! I loved the cocktail drinks they made! -Peace and quiet, no kids, no obnoxious families... perfect! -Garden of Eden was big and spacious. -The activities were surprisingly fun. I didn't think I would enjoy paddle boating since I compete in jetski races, but it was refreshing! I don't think this place would be enjoyable during the winter because activities are limited to outdoors and it would too cold. -24 hour indoor pool. Had I known this, I wouldn't have gotten the room with the pool. There was hardly anyone at the indoor pool around midnight. -The shows... I thought they were fun. My husband and I are kinda goofy people and enjoyed them. -Horseback riding discounts- $33 per person. Very reasonable. However they do not give private or adult-only riding sessions, and we were stuck with family/kids who did nothing but make comments whenever the horses urinated throughout our trip. Like seriously... give it a rest! Con: - The majority of the hotel attendee crowd themselves. They were not friendly. Most of them are from NY/NJ and carry the stereotype "attitudes." I have several friends from NY/NJ who aren't like that, but these guys were. I literally could smell them from a mile away that my husband and I did our best to stay away from them. We witnessed a HUGE argument between two contestant groups during a movie trivia, and a boyfriend/girlfriend were actually fighting during the magic show in front of my husband and I that they left early. -Ok... so for the most part the room was clean. No mold, clean jets, no stains on sheets, bathrooms were in pristine condition, etc. However someone who had occupied the room before us had smoked in the room. I found cigarette ashes at the corner of the indoor pool. -Come on guys... you got a fridge in the hotel room, but no microwave? The only microwave I found was in the gaming room/indoor pool building. -The food. My parents who have gone here were encouraging us to get the inclusive meal and were raving about how fantastic the meals were... not even. MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH GOT SICK. It was bad enough that I had to drive to a nearby grocery store and pick up Imodium to help ease our stomachs. I wish I was making this up, but I'm not. We ate off-site and the restaurant quality is so much better than on the resort. The food quality was not that fantastic that I felt we were overcharged on this one. -Do be aware of the wildlife around. My husband and I were walking around at 1 am and came across a black rat snake near our hotel room door. A Snake found by the Garden of Eden... very fitting I suppose (I used to handle reptiles/birds of prey/snakes at a wildlife rehabilitation center for a college job, so I wasn't really bothered by it). It was gone by morning. -Garden of Eden has NO windows... privacy is great, but when morning comes, you do't realize how you both are sitting in the dark until then. And our room did NOT even have an alarm clock. It felt kind of weird, but it's not a glaring issue. -Everything is expensive here. Firewood is $7 at the gift shop, so bring your own. My husband and I got a wine bottle that normally sells for $20 at a wine store... the hotel charged $15 more for it. -Outdated technology in the room. Our BOSS speaker system hummed loudly while playing music off the iphone that we could not play music at all. The hotel really needs to fix this. Every review has the TVs covered, so I don't need to go there. Thank goodness there is WiFi since we brought our laptop to watch Netflix while sitting in the jacuzzi. -Bed was rock hard that I had back pains on my final day. My husband loves sleeping on hard surfaces and had no issues. We enjoyed it. But there are so many things we would do differently on our next visit to help limit our costs and increase our experience. read more

I am not a picky traveler/eater. I have stayed in places with crawling spiders and in the buildings I was sure would collapse in the morning. So, I thought that I could make a great experience no matter where I would end up. Last year we stayed at Cove Haven and had a great experience. This year we have decided to try their sister resort, Paradise Stream. I paid $820 for two nights in Diana's room with food included. Rooms - sheets and towels are very clean and fresh. Everything else is dirty and stale. Could not walk in the room with our bare feet as the carpet felt very dirty. The pool in the room had so much chlorine, we could stay in that room for only 5 minutes. Food - Breakfast menu consisted of a lot of carbs (breads, waffles, muffins, bagels) and bacon and pork sausages. Dinner was a little more tolerable, but you would be better of eating outside. Entertainment - cannot say anything. We were not interested, but during a dinner heard a lot of advertising comments about the boose. Grounds - they are building a new bridge and you have to go through a service door. But everything was clean and green. Basketball court was great. Overall... Will not go back. read more

Because I wasn't properly addressed beyond a "thank you for your feedback" about the horrific conditions of my very expensive suite (champagne tower room 406 DO NOT STAY THERE). I have no choice but to contact the better business bureau as well as the department of health. Currently finding out if any of my friends in journalism or local news will be willing to expose this, as I am not the only one with complaints regarding hygienic and maintenance issues. Check the reviews! People are not lying. You pay over $500 for a night in a room where amenities are not in functional condition, disgustingly dirty, and not up to code. If you don't heed this warning, you are risking a lot of money. They did not offer a refund or complimentary stay in a proper room at all. read more
