They could loosen up those machines so people could win domestic money to take home. They offer no real drinks while you are playing. You could die of thirst on there. They don't even ask you if you want something to drink. When I finally did catch up with a young lady she said the only serve house liquor. What? I never drink house liquor it will make you sick to your stomach. I'm sure in the high roller rooms they don't serve them house liquor as much money as they lose in those rooms. The casino is small not much to choose from. Guy F restaurants a great choice to eat at. The food was amazing. The buffet had the same food from the night before dinner for lunch the next day nothing different the meat looked dry. I went to the pool and was praying they had a hot tub no hot tub and the water was freezing. That's all I have to say about that.

My first time in Poconos. Get the rooms on the top floor. The rooms have vaulted ceilings makes it nice n spacious. The view is amazing. Beautiful landscape. Free valet parking, the decor in the lobby looks like it's Christmas year round! I heard the hotel has been renovated. The rooms are impeccably clean. It's still COVID pandemic so no room cleaning unless you ask. The hotel is strictly no one under 21 on the casino floor. The restaurants are on the casino floor. They call a chaperone to escort the minor to the restaurant. There is no kids arcade, so I don't think hotel caters to family w kids. The pool is a must go. Get there early n safe yr chair. Bc it gets packed. The bar is open. You can get free water at the bar. The restaurants have good food. il Mulino, Lucky 8 m, Guy Fiery and food court. See my separate each restaurant review. There's also a Starbucks. The slot machines have social distance observed, either every other machine on or separately by Plexy glass. I didn't play slots too much. I don't gamble a lot. But I noticed they are mostly older machines. Not new high tech line CT Moheghan Sun. I would definitely come back in the summer where I can zip line near by.

We booked our stay before they became an adults only resort. The hotel room was extremely spacious and clean! There is no refrigerator because it is stocked minibar. The lobby was nicely decorated in festive holiday decor. Parking is pretty awful in the winter. You have to walk very far after self parking. It is made so you will valet!

We stayed on a Sunday night in early December in the lake view king room. We both really liked this room for the serene lookout at the lake and the lit up trees dotting the entrance. The room offered the following amenities: a Keurig with four K-cups provided, a safe, ironing board, alarm clock, toiletries, and an ice bucket. I was a little disappointed that there were no bathrobes in our room, not sure if this is the case with all the rooms here. The king bed was very conducive to a great night of rest, and the pillows were very comfortable but on the softer side, which I personally prefer. We did go down and use the heated pool during our stay. We were both let down that the temperature of the pool water was lukewarm at best. As for the dining options, they have three: Bistecca by Il Mulino, Guy Fieri's Mt. Pocono Kitchen, and Lucky 8. We didn't try any of these during our stay.

I was here for a work event in the convention center of the resort. I ended up staying 2 nights in the hotel and it's got a great vibe to it. Vegas feels when you enter the lobby with high ceilings both in rooms and hotel. The staff was friendly. The elevators are fast. The rooms we're spacious. Wish they had a refrigerator and/or microwave in the rooms. This resort is also not kid friendly. Had to request an escort everywhere you go even if it's straight to the restaurants or through the casino to your car. Another downside is the parking lot is on the other side of the casino, so if you're staying at the resort you have to walk all the way across the casino floor to get to your car. However valet is included in your stay. All in all it was a nice stay for me and very enjoyable.

Terrific course that's well maintained. Holes are based on famous holes of well known courses. Highly recommend trying it out.

We visited Mount Airy resort for the weekend. There were plenty of restaurants, activities, and the casino itself to keep us busy for the entire time. Something that stands out about the resort is that everything was within a single building- if we wanted to get from our room to the casino, we would hop on the elevator and be on the casino floor within two minutes. Hungry? We had a choice of about five restaurants within about a minute walk of each other, without having to go outside. There was even a Starbucks. There was also a spa where you could get a massage (make an appointment because it gets booked very quickly) and the highlight of the whole building- a pool with a bar/restaurant. The food and drinks there were delicious. The room was beautiful as well- my only complaint was that the room, as well as most of the casino, smelled like cigarette smoke. Most of our clothes after the weekend, even ones that we hadn't worn, had to be washed because the smell stayed with them.

Bed... forgot to take a pic before the room got messy lol

Booking online was easy, and check-in was simple--we just stopped by Frogtown Chophouse to pick up our keys and finished the paperwork the next morning. Our cottage was clean, in good repair, and surprisingly quiet given that the restaurant is on the property. The space is set up well for a couple or small family: a bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker), and even a propane fireplace that was perfect for chilly September evenings. While the fixtures and linens were a little dated, everything was tidy and comfortable, and the unit could easily sleep four. The only real downside was the low water pressure in the shower--not ideal, but not a deal-breaker either. At just over $500 for two nights, we felt it was a fair investment for the experience. The on-site restaurant, Frogtown Chophouse, is highly rated, and we enjoyed stopping in for cocktails one evening. The bartender gave us excellent local recommendations that added to our trip. All in all, Woodfield Manor offered exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, comfortable, and relaxing home base in the Poconos.

We arrived Friday afternoon (October 11 2024) and stayed for three nights. This place is a little slice of heaven tucked away in the Pocono Mountains. When we arrived to check in, Chuck was there to greet us. He is a wonderful, welcoming gentleman. He gave us literature about things to do and happily answered our questions. Our room with its queen sized bed and adjoining sitting area was clean and comfy. We appreciated the small refrigerator and microwave to store and warm up our late night snacks. One tv in each room made it easy for one of us to nap and the other to "veg" out, if we wanted to! It's true the front desk is not manned twenty four hours, but you are given a number to contact in case of an emergency. And the guests are asked to observe quiet time between 10pm and 8am. This worked for us. I didn't miss the hundred room hotel with potential all night parties next door. After a day full of fun Fall festivities...quiet, peaceful and cozy is just what we needed. We are certain to visit again, perhaps in the spring or summer season. But definitely, most definitely again with the changing of the leaves.

I stayed in the Concierge King room with a pool view, and the whole vibe was amazing. Outside by the pool it really gives spa-like relaxation vibes. If you're looking for a place where you can unwind, hang out in the pool, and just enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, this is definitely a great spot, especially if you prefer a more modern, upscale feel rather than the traditional Poconos resorts. My only complaint was the food. They do have a restaurant on-site, but the food was just average in my opinion. Nothing terrible, but nothing that really stood out either. That being said, the overall look, atmosphere, and experience of the property definitely outweigh the food, and you can always head somewhere nearby for a better meal. Overall, it's a great place for a relaxing getaway with a modern vibe.

This was by far the laziest housekeeping people we've ever encountered in our lives -- instead of taking the requested dirty towels away and replacing them, they left everything on the ground and just dumped a pile of towels on the sink. Additionally, they barely made the beds -- the sofa bed was ignored while the main mattress' sheets were all touching the ground. Only the kids bunks got remade properly. We passed other rooms and it looked like they actually made the beds, so we probably got assigned the world's laziest person. Food: buffet food is meh. Restaurant food a step up. Stick with dunkin' for breakfast. Ice cream not bad, soft serve is large portions. Mirror maze was basically all broken. Only 2 things really worked when we went in, by the next day only one worked. Pay dirt (mining gemstones/fossils) was a high value activity for my kids - extra worth when you have the 25% discount. Water park is tiny and cold (there's a few small hot tubs), but has a lazy river; slushies standard ICEE brand, mini golf is sad (only like 7 holes maybe). Kids had a ton of fun at the candlestick bowling -- there's a bunch of game modes to try. Only worth if you get the unlimited. Magiquest was 4-6 hours of running around fun and defeating monsters. Wands and attachments are all upcharges from standard. Mostly can only access up and down with elevators so when one is out of order it takes forever. The pool with the basketball hoops was filthy and salty ... needs to be maintained better.. The prices for the arcade were awful! A rip off compared to what they had available in prizes for ticket redemption. The food was pretty good .. I didn't like the fact that they barely served any beef. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Camelback Resort over Memorial Day weekend…read morewas disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. My family and I checked in on Friday and were scheduled to stay through Monday. We arrived in time for the advertised 4:00 PM check-in, only to find the resort completely overwhelmed. After waiting approximately an hour and a half, our room was not ready until nearly 6:00 PM. On Saturday, we spent the day at the indoor waterpark and rented Cabana 1. The highlight of our trip was our waiter, Andre, who provided exceptional service and was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the day. Unfortunately, the rest of the weekend took a turn for the worse. Later that afternoon, my daughter began feeling unwell and developed a fever. I went to the resort gift shop looking for children's Tylenol or ibuprofen, only to discover they carried neither. For a family-focused resort catering primarily to children, I found it surprising and concerning that basic over-the-counter children's fever medication was not available for purchase. When I asked for assistance, I was handed a first-aid packet containing aspirin, which is not something I would ever give to a child. Because my daughter's fever continued to rise, we made the difficult decision to cut our vacation short and return home that evening. Before leaving, we arranged for bell services to assist with our luggage from Room 529. I personally packed all of our belongings and helped Evan, our bell boy, load everything onto the luggage cart. Once home, while unpacking after tending to my daughter, I realized a mesh bag containing several items was missing, including my husband's Burberry swim trunks, my daughter's RuffleButts swimsuit, and her water shoes. The following day, I contacted the front desk, Lost & Found, and asked to speak to Evan at the bell services department. My information was taken, and I was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. I followed up again several days later and received the same response. No manager was available, no Evan, no answers were provided, and none of our belongings were ever recovered. While losing personal items is frustrating enough, what was most disappointing was the complete lack of follow-up, accountability, or customer service. Not one person contacted me as promised. Not one manager reached out to address the situation. Between the delayed check-in, lack of basic children's medication availability, and the disappearance of our belongings followed by zero communication from management, this was not the family vacation experience we expected. I can overlook mistakes. I cannot overlook poor customer service and a complete failure to address a guest's concerns. Sadly, after this experience, I would not return to Camelback Resort.
