Great service from Abdullah! I stopped by Paradise Street Eats & Biryani and had an awesome experience. The food was great, but what really stood out was the service. Abdullah took care of us the whole time -- super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect, he came by every little bit to come check on us asked if we needed anything and topped off our drinks. Fresh and delicious Indian food! Came here to have lunch with my bestie for her early birthday because we love good food! This place didn't disappoint. The food was amazing and service was great. The garlic and butter naan (not pictured) were delicious with the butter chicken. The chutneys were yummy and I ate so much, I could barely walk out of there! The perfect place for a community dine. We gathered eight family members and converged on a week night. Not busy at all, we were easily seated and spoiled. I believe our server was Ali but we've also met Ansul and Rosa on previous visits. All were terrific. It's an incredible atmosphere. Very chill and welcoming. One of the best parts about stopping here. Everything on the menu is superb. If you enjoy Kachori, I'd start there. Very tasty. Idli Podi is a recommended snack. We tried many of their Naan options and love them all. My very favourite is the Chicken Kabab Dum Biryani. Flavourful and of perfect combination. A wonderful place for Biryani. This was my first time eating here and I'll be coming back here to try different things each time. They have a huge menu selection. The portion size was big compared to what you might normally get. The taste of everything was great. I highly recommend to try the pani puri shots. This is the only place within an hour of me that sold pani puri. I can almost never find a place that will and they were great. The restaurant is a good size and all the staff are super polite. Not enough waitstaff with the amount of crowd expected on the weekend. Service was not good this time neither was the food. We ordered a chicken kurma and it was a tomato base ( definitely not correct) paneer naan was bland and had no spice to it. Garlic naan was dry. Will not be coming back! Food is delicious, chef/co-owner is super nice and very creative with his fusion of foods. Service is usually pretty quick. Interior is small and very clean. The patio dining is nice when it's not super hot outside. The butter chicken pizza is simply divine! Everything you love about buttery chicken, plus cheese served on a naan style pizza crust. The butter chicken sliders are full of flavor and the little bun is buttery and fresh. The chaat is a nice blend of flavors. The berry dosa - wow! Visited this restaurant during a work trip. It's located on the main street, so parking can be a bit tricky, but there's a public parking lot across the road. I've dined at Paradise many years ago and I was not expecting to be here this evening, but it just so happened that me and my friend were craving Indo/Pak food. I didn't end up waiting that long to be seated even though it was quite busy, and the food came out after 15-20 minutes. I kept it pretty safe with the lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala. I also got these fried cauliflower sliders which I really enjoyed. Overall everything was fine. I really enjoyed the food, but didn't feel like any of it stood out compared to similar restaurants I've been to. My only real complaint was that the lamb in the biryani was quite dry. Thankfully the flavor of the rice was there and the sauces on the side alleviated some of dryness, but it was still disappointing because when I think lamb biryani I think of tender, moist chunks of lamb. Also the food is too expensive for what you get. It's gonna fill you up since it's mostly carbs, but I think Himalayan Flames across the street is still the better option. read more

Great place, wonderful service, and AMAZING food. I took my family here when they were in town and we absolutely loved it. It was hard to decide from their extensive menu, but we ended up ordering the loaded fries, za'atar cheese dosa, paneer tikka masala, and the naan platter. Everything was spectacular and the portion sizes were HUGE. Yes, there's an 18% minimum gratuity - but it's well worth it to make sure the folks on staff - who were all so kind and welcoming - are paid fairly. We ordered the food online, I drove out there to pick it up. Best drive from Van Buren Twp to Dearborn. The restaurant has FREE public parking behind the building. Their back entrance was right across about a 200 feet walk. I picked up the food and headed home. Food was read and waiting for me. I got home and we ate. Food was still warm to hot and excellent. The flavors were so nice. Biryani tasted like Biryani not fried rice. Overall very good place to eat. (My wife does grubhub from here since she works in Redford). The tikka masala looked and tasted like every other chicken curry I have had, but they insisted it was masala sauce. I have had a lot of masala sauce, and that is not what you would expect if you were in the mood for masala. I asked for mild and the sauce was too hot for me. The butter sauce for the naan was also spicy as the default option. They don't ask what spice level you want for it. The people at the next table said they ordered no spice and that it was spicy. I ordered lentil soup but it did not arrive. I was not charged for it though. Tip is included in the bill automatically, FYI. The place has cute wall decor but is cramped. Service was friendly. I don't know what authentic Indian menu looks like but they have more variety and options than the ones I been in Farmington hills. I took my friends with me so they could help me review additional items on the menu. We had three of the lassis (Mango, Peach and Strawberry) the lassis really had a strong yogurt taste and they weren't too sweet. We really enjoyed all of them. Next the dosas, I would recommend the restaurant take more time to have waiters explain the difference in all of the dosas and what exactly they are. I'm seeing there are differences that are huge. We asked for the recommendation and similar to another reviewer I didn't know what to expect so I ordered another menu item and should have just gotten one thing. It would have been nice to get that heads up from the waiter. Restaurant staff can really make a huge difference in your dining experience. We got the potato dosa and the flavor was not bad. Just a bit bland. We also ordered the chicken Marsala, and chicken biryani, and chicken tikka kata. The Marsala and biryani we ordered medium spice and could not feel the spice at all. That's hard to gauge at different spots because other places medium is usually pretty good. We told the waiter and he just said it was spicy when we told him it wasn't spicy to us. I am used to getting more spices with Indian dishes so that was my only gripe about the dishes as well. The portions are on the smaller side for the prices. But, it is downtown Dearborn so that shouldn't be a deal breaker for most patrons in the area. So in all I would recommend the lassi for sure. This is also a cute spot to study. They have outlets. I'm so glad we live near Dearborn - there are such good options. We ordered carryout on a Friday night, and it was perfect. Spicy and flavorful and cooked perfectly, and all I had to do was pick it up! I ordered it online, and it was ready right when I came in. We tried a bunch of things - everything on the menu looked so good. We started with the shrimp 65 which we'll have to get every time now - XL juicy plump shrimp fried and tossed in a spicy red sauce - just so good. I love the little onions and veg on top. We also had the naked chile wings, which I highly recommend also - large wings with a spicy sweet sauce and yummy veg on top. Then the Paradise loaded fries which are so yummy with fresh toppings - exactly what you want in a loaded fry. Each of us also has an entree - I had the chicken curry and hubby had the lamb dum biryani - both spicy and flavorful and delicious with large chunks of meat. Everything was hot and fresh when we sat down to eat - I just appreciate that so much. They really give attention to their food. We will for sure return often! Jana was an amazing server, nice and accommodating (we requested additional sauces during and after our meal and recommendations) We ordered the Pani Puri ($8.95), Masala Dosa ($11.95), Butter Chicken ($13.95) Tandoori Chicken ($13.95), and (4) Naan Variety Basket ($12.95) for 5 people. Pani puri was a great starter, flavorful bites of chickpea. Dosa was very light and we absolutely loved the coconut yogurt (green) sauce (9/10). Butter chicken was a great recommendation by Jana, the best I've had. It wasn't heavy and the chicken was extremely tender (10/10). Tandoori chicken was good, decently tender and spiced (7.5/10). Naan basket had 4 chili naans, 4 cheese naans, 4 garlic naans, and 4 sweet naans. We enjoyed the cheese naan the most and garlic naan with the butter chicken. The sweeter naan was interesting, but not my favorite. Overall, it was an extremely cheap meal for its value, less than $14 a dish. We recommend the Butter Chicken and Dosa! read more

Loved the new brunch menu offered at Paradise! Being South Indian, it's hard to find good South Indian food but I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing options here. Overall, left disappointed. Had a bowl of chicken hot and sour soup, and the Pav Vada sliders for lunch. The soup was lacking flavor and the chicken was cooked separately, then added to the soup. I also ordered the soup at a "Hot" spice level and it was barely "Mild". The Pav Vada sliders were good, but again lacked the bold spices that I would expect with the sliders. And they were supposed to have a green chili on top and they did not, which is why I ordered them. In my opinion, the dishes were just not executed well. My child had been craving some butter chicken but we were struggling deciding on a place to get some. We were visiting the Henry Ford and I looked up places to eat in the area and this place claims to have to best butter chicken. Obviously every place claims to be the best but it this case, it was true! We had never been here so we were not sure what to expect. It is a small narrow restaurant with a few igloos outside and I had not realized how popular this place was so we had a small wait, not too bad. The menu is huge, like Cheesecake Factory big, which is good but it made it really hard to decide what to choose. Luckily I had perused the menu in advance so I had an idea about what I wanted. We ended up getting the naan appetizer with the butter sauce. Sooo good! That sauce was amazing. Their naan was good, it came with plain and garlic. One child got the sesame chicken, it was amazing. I love their fusion menu. It was sweet and sour and spicy. The potion was huge. She also got a side of fries. Those were only okay, it was supposed to have masala seasoning but they gave her plain fries, they could have been crispier and saltier. The other child got the butter chicken, obviously amazing. The rice was so tender and did not dry out the next day. My husband had tiki chicken skewers with vegetables. It was well cooked. I got the zatar and cheese dosa with a side of biryani rice. It was hands down the best and biggest dosa I have ever tasted. It was gigantic, and the chutney and sauces were amazing, I loved their lentil sauce that tasted like crushed lentil soup and the cilantro coconut chutney. The biryani rice was also the best I had ever tasted. It was really good with the butter sauce and did not dry out the next day. In fact, the portions were so big, it look two more meals past dinner to finish it all. It was hands down the best value and best taste of all of the places I have tried in the area. The only complaint I have it that they did not say there was an 18% "service fee". I found it on the bill and had to ask what it was. I do not mind, but I do like knowing in advanced. I looked at their online menu and website and it was not listed. It was also very easy to miss on the bill. But overall I would love to try more of their food and also order what I had again. I am craving it now as I type that how good it was. It says online that this is a chain which is funny since it seems like a small business. I was craving Indian food, found this restaurant on yelp and thought to give it a try. I don't regret my decision! The staff members were very friendly, we were seated right away. The food came in a properly order and we left with almost every dish empty. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! You can choose if you want your food mild, medium, spicy. When searching up this restaurant on Yelp, I saw that there are Paradise Biryani Pointe's located in two other cities in the metro Detroit area too. Both looked to have a significantly lower review average than this Dearborn location though, which was interesting and makes me wonder if the three locations are all owned by drastically different people and whether these three restaurants of the same name even fall under the same umbrella. Either way, this review is specifically for the Paradise Biryani Pointe in Dearborn! The food here is SO GOOD! Four of my friends and I placed a carryout order over the phone and picked it up within the span of an hour - extremely quick service! Because we had ordered so much food as well, one of the people helped bring it out to the car as well and was so friendly while doing it, which was very appreciated and frankly, above and beyond! We love to see great service! We also love even more to eat GREAT FOOD and everything that had been ordered from Paradise Biryani Pointe was good! So I think the safe conclusion is that you can pick anything on the menu and you won't go wrong! We got samosas (several varieties), butter chicken, pav, dosas, lassis, and so much more! I felt like we had a really good sampling of the menu and all of it was SCRUMPTIOUS! Everything was SO flavorful and their spice levels DEFINITELY pack a punch! If you're not sure between two levels of spice, I'd recommend rounding down if you're like me and love spicy food, but can't handle too much spice! Placed an order online for pickup which was very easy, although not all items very ready on time when I arrived, and I was there 20 minutes later than my dedicated pickup time. That is fine. No big deal. I was pleased to see that they offer Indian street food, honestly very few (of any in the area) have these snacks so I needed to get some to try. I had Kachori, Batata Vada, Veg Kurma, rice and tandoori roti. Everything was very good, the snacks were delicious and had nice kick. The Kurma although ordered medium was less spicy than my usual medium Indian food but still very tasty. The only item that I was disappointed with was the roti, it was very hard. Not sure why.
