Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Side Masala (Biryani) Rice, Garlic Naan

This was my first time eating here and I'll be coming back here to try different things each time. They have a huge menu selection. The portion size was big compared to what you might normally get. The taste of everything was great. I highly recommend to try the pani puri shots. This is the only place within an hour of me that sold pani puri. I can almost never find a place that will and they were great. The restaurant is a good size and all the staff are super polite. Our server Ali was super nice and showed us many things on the menu that looked great. We watched a table be difficult and they were super accommodating to them.

I've tried Paradise a couple times now, from their food truck at Little Asian Bites Night Market events. Have loved both things I've tried from here! So flavorful and yummy. Butter Chicken Tacos are phenomenal (wish I had a pic to share!!) and a fun fusion twist making butter chicken a handheld. Their Chicken Biryani is tasty as well. Hoping they bring their food truck to Ann Arbor sometime!

The BEST Indian food in town. Everything is so flavorful, I've never ordered anything that I didn't like. I almost always order the samosas, paradise loaded fries, and butter chicken curry, with garlic cheesy naan. Food is always served pretty fast, and servers are always friendly.

Not enough waitstaff with the amount of crowd expected on the weekend. Service was not good this time neither was the food. We ordered a chicken kurma and it was a tomato base ( definitely not correct) paneer naan was bland and had no spice to it. Garlic naan was dry. Will not be coming back! They have increased prices which is fine but offer the right food. They also add a 18% gratuity for any dine in party regardless of size. I don't mind paying the gratuity but then again I also would like to see my server more than once. Most disappointing lunch

Food is delicious, chef/co-owner is super nice and very creative with his fusion of foods. Service is usually pretty quick. Interior is small and very clean. The patio dining is nice when it's not super hot outside. The butter chicken pizza is simply divine! Everything you love about buttery chicken, plus cheese served on a naan style pizza crust. The butter chicken sliders are full of flavor and the little bun is buttery and fresh. The chaat is a nice blend of flavors. The berry dosa - wow! They are great at accommodating tolerance for levels of spicy-ness in most of their dishes as well, so don't be afraid to check this place out if you don't like spicy food - they have things for you!

Visited this restaurant during a work trip. It's located on the main street, so parking can be a bit tricky, but there's a public parking lot across the road. The place has a nice ambiance, and the service staff was very friendly. There's decent seating inside and some in the outdoor patio at the back. They provide a tablet device for viewing the menu, which is unique--you can see item descriptions with pictures. I ordered the masala dosa and the goat dum biryani. The dosa was a good portion for the price and delicious. The biryani was packed with flavors, and the goat was tender and well-cooked. I chose the spicier option, and it was perfectly blended. I finished with a masala chai, which was tasty, though the cup size was small--but fair for the price. One thing to note: they add an 18% gratuity by default, even for a two-party dine-in, and there's an optional tip on the bill. Overall, if you want to try Indian cuisine in the area, this place is worth a visit.

I've dined at Paradise many years ago and I was not expecting to be here this evening, but it just so happened that me and my friend were craving Indo/Pak food. I didn't end up waiting that long to be seated even though it was quite busy, and the food came out after 15-20 minutes. I kept it pretty safe with the lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala. I also got these fried cauliflower sliders which I really enjoyed. Overall everything was fine. I really enjoyed the food, but didn't feel like any of it stood out compared to similar restaurants I've been to. My only real complaint was that the lamb in the biryani was quite dry. Thankfully the flavor of the rice was there and the sauces on the side alleviated some of dryness, but it was still disappointing because when I think lamb biryani I think of tender, moist chunks of lamb. Also the food is too expensive for what you get. It's gonna fill you up since it's mostly carbs, but I think Himalayan Flames across the street is still the better option.

Great place, wonderful service, and AMAZING food. I took my family here when they were in town and we absolutely loved it. It was hard to decide from their extensive menu, but we ended up ordering the loaded fries, za'atar cheese dosa, paneer tikka masala, and the naan platter. Everything was spectacular and the portion sizes were HUGE. Yes, there's an 18% minimum gratuity - but it's well worth it to make sure the folks on staff - who were all so kind and welcoming - are paid fairly. And you can certainly add more gratuity if you want to. We left very full - and with leftovers for the next day. I'd definitely visit again next time I'm in the area!

Naan

I tried the variety of naan, chicken tikka masala, biryani rice. and tandoori chicken. Naan and tandoori chicken kabob was good. The tikka masala looked and tasted like every other chicken curry I have had, but they insisted it was masala sauce. I have had a lot of masala sauce, and that is not what you would expect if you were in the mood for masala. I asked for mild and the sauce was too hot for me. The butter sauce for the naan was also spicy as the default option. They don't ask what spice level you want for it. The people at the next table said they ordered no spice and that it was spicy. I ordered lentil soup but it did not arrive. I was not charged for it though. Tip is included in the bill automatically, FYI. The place has cute wall decor but is cramped. Service was friendly. Good location, but there are better Indian places in the area.

I did enter through the rear of the establishment since I parked there. The menu is pretty extensive. Ended up getting the half order of hummus. A basket of warm pita and two sauces came out. I initially thought that was the pita. This was complimentary I believe. The garlic sauce is solid. The other one is a spicy sauce of some sort. This spicy one was super good. The hummus came out. Very smooth and flavorful. For my entree, I got the Shish Kafta. You can choose between lamb or chicken. I went with the chicken with a side of rice and my choice of soup or salad. I opted for the lentil soup. That came out piping hot. This was delicious. Flavorful and good texture. My entree came out and wow. The portion is way more than what you pay for. Came with 4 very huge blocks of chicken kefta. Nicely seasoned and grilled to perfection. Had a nice char on the outside, but still juicy on the inside. I used the two sauces from earlier to give it an extra kick. I washed it all down with a mint lemonade. This was absolutely refreshing. Clean place, very good food and the customer service was solid.

Good food, good service and good atmosphere. What else can you ask for?…read more In town on business, a couple of us wanted to check out Himalayan Flames based on reviews we found. We were also looking for vegetarian options for a colleague that I was with. In a cool part of town, Himalayan Flames is right in the middle of a bustling area full of shops and restaurants. On this particular weeknight, the area was fairly busy. There's some parking on the street but there's also a huge parking lot behind the block that Himalayan Flames is on, so go on back there and find a spot. There are signs on the back of the building you guiding you to a back entrance which leads to a number of different businesses. You'll find the entrance to Himalayan Flames towards the front of the building. We were seated right away and began browsing the menu. Not a huge place, but cozy and nicely decorated. Cool vibe. I opted for the Lamb Korma and Garlic Naan bread. Outstanding on both fronts. The Lamb Korma was full of flavor and perfectly spiced for my taste. I forget the spice level options, but go with what you know. Whatever I asked for was perfect. Lamb was tender and tasty. Combine that with the edible scoop that you can make out of the Naan bread and you're set. Would I go back? Without question. I highly recommend giving Himalayan Flames a shot and check out their flavor filled menu with options for everyone. We were impressed and hopefully you will be also.

One guy seated at a booth on the phone and two ladies with their suitcase at another booth. Other than the 3 people, place was empty. Ordered carry out. crushed lentil bowl, chicken kafta, two sides: small hummus, small baba ghanouj, large fattoush salad with no pita. $38.13 Food takes about 15 minutes to be ready. Drove all the way back to the office. My chicken kafta looks to be lamb, not at all what I ordered. My large fattoush is covered in pita chips. Had to spend several minutes getting every pita chip out of the salad. It's good I am not allergic to gluten. They shove the dressing packet in the corner of the salad, so you get a bit less, that and the pita chips. Other than that, the salad was fine. I am quite disappointed the order is not right! The crushed lentil soup has a lot of rice in it, which is just filler to me. Has some clumps of something, may be rice and starch? It's too inconvenient to drive all the way back. Do be sure to check your carry out order before you leave the place. The crushed lentil is quite bland, not much flavor to it. Tastes some fennel, quite a few clumps of starch. The soup is more rice than lentil. I could count on one hand how many traces of lentil was in my bowl of soup. What in the world? My husband ate the lamb kafta, since I don't eat red meat. He said it was so-so, but rather dry.
