Enjoyable experience. Food was excellent; I had the lamb haneeth and it was delicious, among the best lamb dishes I've had in years, particularly with the two sauces provided. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It's like walking into a different world! I was there for the grand opening of the coffee shop that was added to the restaurant. The coffee shop space is cozy and comfortable like you can make it your office space away from home! Back to Sheeba...the food was absolutely amazing! I didn't have any garlic paste and didn't think about any! (This is huge for me as I LOVE garlic & usually slather it on everything!) The service was excellent everyone was warm and welcoming. We ordered chicken zurbian rice , sambosa , frise and hummus. The rice came with meat soup. The rice was delicious, tasty and tender. The chicken is already mixed up with the rice. It tasted good But the rice arrived a little bit cold. The samosa is one of my favorite. Very good! I wasn't a big fan of the soup but the frise and the hummus was great replacement for me. Sheeba is a great place for delicious Yemeni food. My husband & I had the galaba (small meat chunks), lamb haneeth, fresh bread & Adeni tea. Everything was delicious & cooked to perfection. The portions were quite large so we had a lot to bring home for later. The lamb in the haneeth was incredibly tender: fall-off-the-bone was an understatement. It was soft as butter. The bread was amazing: hot & fresh. The tea was delightful. We also had a salad that had a fresh, tangy ginger dressing. Our meal was reasonably priced: $18 for the galaba, $33 for the haneeth (more than enough for 2 people) and the tea only $1. The decor of the restaurant is quite nice: large, open areas with plenty of seating. There is ample free parking behind the restaurant (with a convenient rear entrance) The restaurant is modern, using a QR code for their menu and another QR code later to pay the bill at your table. I really enjoyed my 2nd go to this place. There is plenty of seating for large groups and families, and the ambiance blends Yemeni culture into the American dining experience. The menu has plenty of offerings ranging from Yemeni staples like fahsah to standard Lebanese style kabob dishes. Today I had the fahsa and was not disappointed. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the bread it was served with was warm and fluffy. A friend and I ran into another group of friends while there and the owner graciously had chai sent to our table, on the house. The adeni chai was delicious and I would definitely get it again. We also had the opportunity to try their tres leches cake (completely threw me off that it was on the menu) but it was one of the best I've had. The cake was light and airy, and the sweetness was the perfect balance even with the whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top- it did not induce a sugar coma. My friend ordered the foul, ended up with lentil soup instead and the chicken haneeth and the big bread, small hummus, fahsah. The foul soup is just a lamb broth, nothing in it. The lentil soup is bland, slightly better with lemon, but not by much. The tabouli is yummy and fresh, nice lemony flavor and so fresh. The hummus is pretty, like a blossomed bud. Has a tasty smoky flavor, must be from the paprika or are the chick peas roasted some? The Tanoor bread is big and $1 for two pieces. The foul and the haneeth were both very average, the fahsa is bland and boring, it's completely devoid of flavor unless you use the puréed tomato sauce, it's as my friend said saves the haneeth and the fahsa. I requested for another sauce and then for a hotter sauce, they gave me a side dish of puréed jalapeño, something to hide the blandness of the dish. My fahsa has a nice green tint to it after dumping 2 jalapeño and 1 tomato sauce in it. Taking the rest home and smothering it with heat to hide the flatness of it all. I am glad I at least had the tabouli and hummus, would have starved otherwise. The food besides the tabouli and hummus wasn't made for a human consumption, well if they are devoid of any taste buds maybe. Staff here are all nice. The GM is very friendly and chatty, gave us a history of the traditional dress on the wall and their plans to expand the room by the coffee bar with an enclosed glass walls and views out. My friend said he liked the interior decor, hoping he might ask how the food was tonight, he didn't ask. We both would have given verbal recommendations on things to improve on. We were told this place is always packed on the weekend. I can't believe people come back after their visit here. I would not come back for the decor and definitely not for the food. Ambiance: Came here for lunch on a Saturday and the place was pretty empty except for 4 other tables. The place is huge and looks like it probably catered large wedding receptions in pre-COVID times. The place is well decorated with peach-colored textured walls and comfy leather padded chairs. Staff were very attentive and checked in with us multiple times throughout the meal. My only caution is that our meal here took about 1.5 hrs in part due to a wait to order, the food taking a while, then an additional long wait for our after-meal teas to come out. This definitely isn't a quick dinner but a nice place to truly sit, chat, and enjoy a meal. Food: We ordered the lamb fattah and the chicken agdah which were both traditional yemeni dishes. The fattah had warm and comforting flavors of allspice, cumin, and paprika. It was a very interesting dish because the torn oven bread pieces soaked in the spiced oil from the lamb had a pleasant rubbery texture instead being a soggy mush. The lamb was tender but had a decent gamey flavor if you find that off-putting. The dish is overall rich and heavy but tasty. The chicken agdah was a lighter option with huge chunks of potato and zucchini, a lighter spiced broth, and giant chunks of chicken. It comes with 3 pieces of super fresh pita bread if you pick that instead of the rice which is plenty filling. The dishes did come with small cups of soup of which I would recommend the lentil soup which was excellently spiced and still has some texture. The lamb soup is really just a broth with 3-4 pieces of lamb and again has that noticeable gamey flavor. We finished with the tea which does take quite a while to get but it is deliciously spiced like a chai and not too sweet at all. We stuck with the Yemeni items but their nuanced sauces, attention to textures, and generous portions bode well for the rest of the menu. We would definitely recommend giving this place a try and would gladly come back. read more

It took a while for my lamb sandwich to come out, even though there were only about eight other diners in the gigantic dining room. While the sandwich had lots of lamb, the meat was lukewarm and unevenly cooked, which put a damper on a decent sandwich wrapped in flat bread. WOW!!! 5 stars! Sheeba was an amazing experience. I am visiting from California and my cousins took my family and me here for dinner, and all I can say is wow. We ordered a family platter for 8 and it was more than enough food for the 7 of us. It comes with delicious appetizers too. The meat in the main dish is soooooooo tender, the lamb is especially delicious. Our server Abdul was so welcoming and friendly and gave us excellent service!!
