We got this thru Groupon for my daughter's Birthday. When we parked, We called to let them know we arrived and sat in the patio as the directions said, the crew member (who just stood off to the side in his phone) didn't acknowledge the party, we had no idea He was there, so we sat and waiting over 20 min until I called back wondering what was going on with the Duffy. After He made his presence known, we lost more precious time as He checked us in. This ruined my kids surprise as we had no time to decorate the Duffy before she arrived. No one apologized, and we lost 30 min of time w the Duffy. Super annoying. Disappointed to say the least. read more

I rented a boat do me and my kids and it was a very nice experience. When we got there , the staff met us and took us to the boat immediately. He gave us a map which was very helpful. The boat is easy to steer and it doesn't go fast. It's easy enough for anyone to drive it. We did 2 hours which was a good amount of timing. You can bring your own food and drinks. Definitely a good experience. This was my fist time and will definitely be back. read more

Celebrating my birthday with a few girlfriends. We were a little nervous none of us driven a duffy boat before but the vessel goes 5 miles per hour max so very easy to maneuver. This is my 3rd boat rental place I've used and it is my favorite. The price is generally cheaper for, in my opinion, a better Duffy. We chose the regular white boat option and really appreciated how clean and easy to drive it was. The dock itself was easy to get in and out of which is always a positive. I will note, however, that they do not have a physical storefront. We went to the location on Google Maps and there was no shop there. I called the number provided and they quickly met us where we were. The workers informed us that usually there is someone waiting there to direct customers. Since there wasn't, they let us have a little extra time on the boat. Very accommodating! Definitely will be coming back. read more

My new favorite spot to rent a duffy boat! Had an amazing time with my fam MLK weekend. It was our first time using them as we normally would book at the long beach locations but decided to give them a try. Had a great experience with a two hour Duffy boat rental for a friend's birthday. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and they were helpful in getting some set up items over to the boat. There is free parking available and they direct you on where to park via email instructions sent beforehand. You must sign an online waiver prior to the group leading as well. The boat was a bit counterintuitive to drive but it can be done. They allow food and alcohol (no hard liquor) on the boat. There are a couple of pillows but I'd suggest bringing some of your own for added comfort. read more

We had the boat for 2 hours. The check in process was super easy and the map of the area made it clear where we could and couldn't go. When we got on the boat it was SPOTLESS and the staff helped us attach our bluetooth before we left so we could play our music. We went at sunset and the view was really nice. Electric Boat rentals are the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon or evening with friends and loved ones in Huntington Harbor. All of our Boat rentals feature Duffy Boats. They accommodate 12 people comfortably, (children of all ages included). Every boat has a full, overhead canopy, all-weather operational window enclosures, and a stereo system complete with Bluetooth connectivity. Bring your favorite music and turn it up, or silently cruise the harbor while you enjoy the quiet that only an Electric boat can offer. Huntington Harbor is full of relaxing views and fun. You are more than welcome to bring your own assortment of food and beverages onboard! Reservations are highly recommended. We take reservations up to six months in advance. Last-minute and walk-in customers are always welcome (subject to availability). All boats are self driven

James came to the rescue and was easy to deal with and beyond informative with his instructions on the Duffy boat operation. Even though I've rented plenty of boats in the past James gave me helpful tips to ensure our safety. The boat was clean and had an awesome sound system so we could hear the tunes we wanted to during our cruise. James also gave us a bottle of champagne to enjoy during our cruise!! This is our go to place from now on!! Thank you so much James!!

But we spent alittle over $300 there on everything! There is a $35 or $45 entrance fee depending on when you come. It's just to come inside the lagoon. If you want the obstacle course it's an additional $10 per person for 55 mins (super short). If you want to kayak, use the aqua bike or use the paddleboard it's an additional $10 per equipment/item. There is a kiddie area for small and young children. They DO NOT allow outside food or drinks except water! There is a small shop that sells misc. items, snacks & drinks (overpriced). They also had a foodtruck inside that was expensive and the meals didn't come with drinks. They do have plenty of staff and lifeguards there. The entrance fee should of been $15-20. The obstacle course atleast 90-120 mins instead of the 55 mins. Wish the foodtruck came with drinks and was a bigger portion.

We have rented many duffy boats over the years (decades) all over Southern California, but I have to give PCH Electric Boats my top score. Reservations and checking in were smooth sailing (pardon the pun) and our actual duffy was so clean it looked brand new. The views and ambiance of Huntington Harbour were also a great surprise benefit. Returning the duffy also went smooth with associates there at the dock to guide us safely home. They asked me to wait for a group to return but changed their mind and gave us a boat on site. I over heard one of the staff stating a customers boat died so I asked them to verify ours were good to go and won't die on us. We headed out only to die out 15-20 min after, we couldn't get ahold of anyone and kept getting voice mail. I tried texting and it a reply to call the office. I noticed a small sticker on the boat with a number, called that and spoke to staff, explained the situation and was told they would rescue us. We spent 15-20 min trolling, waited 25-30 min to get rescued and they tried to put us on another boat which I refused. They considered that an hour (i considered that 20 min) so I asked to end the rental. They originally didn't want to do it but I refused to do it again as we all lost interest at this point. They ended up refunding me $65 lol. I was so done I just took it and wanted to go about our day. Apparently they do a rescues on a regular so beware. After all of that I found the boat we were rented was the oldest and first boat they got and been having issues with it...go figure! I gave 2 stars because 2 members were cool. Pics verifying I was informed we could dock and another while we were stuck
