    Ceiling "repair"
    Wayne H.

We've been members of Club Meliá for over a decade and this is our home property. We usually end up going to other resorts in other countries but recently decided to take a long weekend trip to the Cancun property. The staff are still very friendly, but the property is in serious need of a refresh, or at least some basic repairs. Walking through the property, there are cones and towels on the floor where there is water leaking. We're not talking about one or two, but a few in each pyramid. Many of the public restrooms in the resort are of questionable cleanliness and many have no air conditioning. Our room was also very tired and in need of a refresh. Cabinet doors and drawers were misaligned and would not shut all the way. There was evidence of a massive water leak above the bed that looked like an amateur repaired and patched it (see photos). The bathroom mirror had black spots on it where the glass had chipped away and a lot of the grout was chipped or missing or repaired with a totally different color. When we first stayed here, the rooms were pristine and modern. I would venture to guess that other than minimal maintenance, these rooms haven't seen a single overhaul or renovation since we bought the timeshare a decade ago. We had very good meals at Agua Marina and Santé for dinner, but food elsewhere on the property was pretty disappointing. Cocktails were also very inconsistent with one bartender using a 1/2 oz of vermouth in an extra dry martini while another was using barely a splash. One bartender asked us what was in a Negroni lol... Overall, the property is being milked for every dollar with no visible signs of any improvements. Once our timeshare is up, we definitely will not be renewing it.

Overall Great experiences Very clean resorts & beach Good service Just not enough different type of restaurants like other resorts. Malva buffet restaurant can offer more different countries' foods.

Summer time last year my family and I decided to go to Mexico with friends and family and we picked Paradisus de la Carmen. The suite we stayed in was big and I really like it. My kids and I slept separately as the sofa turns into a bed. The one thing I did notice was the old sofa and I wish they would get rid of that. Food was 24/7 but my kids loved the fact the each morning a stag came to replenish all their Candy and cookies I mean the kids were in candy heaven. It's a big resort so you really have to walk around a lot. At some point we left the kids with the child care at the resort and they did a wonderful job. The resort also has a private section for adults which I thought was cool. Also some of the hotel rooms had private pools attached to them which was also very nice. I'm going to have to say that the water park for kids was definitely my highlight. I mean this place was just amazing. I would definitely come back!!!

From check in to check out, the staff and experience were wonderful. The facilities are in great shape and the choice of restaurants is very good. The only thing I would have liked is for the A/C in my room to get colder. We had a conference there, as well, and the room and A/V were top notch. I was very impressed that at every restaurant they asked about food allergies and restrictions when you check in or ask to be seated. At the buffet, someone walked it with me, showing me which items had no gluten. There are symbols on many of the items (although I didn't see a legend to know which is which - some were more obvious that others). They made me gluten free pancakes the first morning, which was nice, but they were small and had that gummy texture which is common. There was a section of the buffet with gluten free bread (which was a little crusty) and a muffin (I couldn't really tell what kind, but it was fine for breakfast). At the fish restaurant, they brought me gluten free soy sauce for my sushi and there were gluten free dessert options. The staff is very attentive to our GF needs, better than most restaurants in the US.

I just got back. Stayed four nights. I do highly recommend this resort. Everything is in one place. They offer Yoga, silent disco, painting classes, water aerobics, which I completely enjoyed, coffee bar, pool, games, different spots to chill so you aren't in your room, buffet, and a few different restaurants. The pool area is massive, and the swim up bars are beautiful. Downfalls, there's no air conditioning in the main part of the hotel. The spa... absolutely one of the worst pedicures I've ever received in my life however, the girl that did it was very nice. The front desk girl wasn't. The restaurants are not worth it at all. They try to up charge you on certain things but it's an all inclusive resort so I didn't feel like that was necessary, the food... you wait for an hour and a half and we weren't impressed by anything provided at the restaurants from the Service to the food.... when realistically the buffet is much better. The buffet, the maid service, the pools, huts, areas to lay out, access to the beach, service at the pool, not to mention hospitality of the workers, and the people...absolutely outstanding, and that's why I do recommend this resort, family friendly. Everything was clean even tho parts were completely under maintenance like leaks in the roof buckets on the floor collecting water. Some areas did smell like mold and if I was staying in those areas, I would've asked to move. I did have a wonderful time and was impressed by all the resort offered. You do get what you paid for here and I felt like it was worth it. I did ask for two beds as I was staying with family. I was given a king bed. I had to go down and ask for two beds... twice and then I was accommodated. Also, if you book outside the hotel, they don't offer pick up from the airport or take you to the airport on their service. Please use Uber. We made the mistake and paid $100 to get to the hotel. When really the Uber was $20 as we did that on the way back to the airport. Felt like an idiot, but you live and learn. Very clean. Food was fresh. Drinks were good. Pool was clean. Hotel was clean.

Just got back from a 6 day stay. Please be patient as I have a lot to share. Check in for us was not smooth. We made a few requests when we booked that were completely ignored. We were told they could not accommodate what was asked for at this time. After an hour and a half of going around and around, amazingly they were able to meet our requests. Whole check in thing is kind of a joke. That being said the room was nice. Big enough for myself, my wife, and two teenagers. The weather was beautiful so we weren't in it much but had a great ocean front view. Maid service was great. Room was well cleaned daily. Fridge and snack bar always refilled. We were in building three, which was very well maintained. Almost all the restaurants are in this building, and it has a 24 hour coffee/snack bar. The main pool and a smaller pool are also located at building three. The grounds are well groomed, and the beach is huge and beautiful. The pools were not my favorite. They were not heated. The water was also below the skimmer line so water was not circulating in the main pool. Also, pool chair saving starts very early, and unfortunately, many "reserved" chairs sat empty all day. I just started moving people's things after a couple of hours. Service at the pools was pretty good. Food was hit or miss. The taqueria and Mexican restaurant were great. The buffet and Italian restaurant were ok. The seafood restaurant was below average. The service and food at the Asian restaurant were bad. We booked through Costco, and arranged our transfers through their provider: BD Experience. I do not recommend them. They wanted to pick us up 3.5 hours before our return flight when were were 20 minutes from the airport. Overall, it's not a 5 star resort, but it was a good escape in the winter.

I came here with my family around May for a few days and we really enjoyed our stay. The service was not too bad and they were attentive, it does get a bit slow at times (which is odd as I don't think it was too busy during our stay) but that's understandable. The resort comes with multiple restaurants and we enjoyed trying all of them. I think the service could be improved especially with the amount of money we spent.

    Michelle V.

The experience this trip for me was decent. The three star was for the view. Customer service is a bit slow, food wasn't the greatest as I've tried other resorts. The room a/c wasn't working properly. But room service was great! Overall, it's decent for a quick trip but not a long stay.

Hey Yelp Fam! I'm back with another review, and this time we've gone international! A few weeks ago, I ventured to Cancun, Mexico, and stayed at the All-Inclusive Paradisus Cancun Resort. I'll try to give you as much info as I can about my 4-day, 3-night stay, but if you decide to stop reading at any time, just know this: **I HAD AN AMAZING TIME** and I can't wait to go back! As we left the airport with our private driver and drove through the city, I was filled with excitement. The beautiful palm trees, the water, the people, and the vibrant culture all made me eager to start my vacation. Arriving at the resort was just as thrilling. Everyone who enters the resort must be checked in by security, and once you arrive at the front, resort staff members greet you, collect your bags, and walk you to check-in. We landed around 10:30 AM, got to the resort a little after 11 AM, and our room was ready by 12 PM. While waiting, we checked in and received our wristbands. FYI, we stayed on "The Reserve Side," which is adults-only. With about 40 minutes to kill before our room was ready, we decided to check out one of the all-you-can-eat buffets for a quick bite. This was the first and only time we ate on that side of the resort because we took full advantage of the restaurants available to us on the adults-only side. Now, let me tell you about the room. We were on the second floor, which made it easy to access snacks, food, the beach, and other amenities. The rooms are very spacious; I went with two other family members, and we opted for the master suite, which came with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bathrooms have nice glass walk-in showers, with a private toilet area behind a door, and the room includes a minibar fully stocked with drinks and snacks. Our room didn't overlook the ocean, but that was fine--it was an easy walk around the corner and down the stairs. Navigating the hotel was like a maze, but I finally got the hang of it the day before we left. The beautiful blue water, the Bali beds, the food, the staff, the views, the activities, the spa--**EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING.** I won't go into too much detail because I don't want to bore you, but I do want to share the places we ate at: Malva** (buffet on day one) Lemon Fish** (must have a reservation) Sal** (must have a reservation) Sante** (my favorite) Aquafish** (I didn't eat anything here; but you can try it out) One of my favorite things was going to the snack bar in "The Reserve," which is the adults-only section that had snacks every day. I went there regularly for the cute and tasty desserts that weren't too sweet (I loved it!). As for activities, we did the "Sound Healing" session--OMG, it was worth it. Lying by the beach with my eyes closed while the instructor using crystal singing bowls that made different frequency noises as she recited mantras was a freeing experience. I'm not one to opt for things like this, but I'm glad I tried something different. One day, my family did a morning strength session, but I couldn't make that... lol, I was sleeping. We also did hydrotherapy, which I highly recommend. You start by sitting in the sauna, then move to the steam room (which was intense, lol). Then, you walk on warm rocks that spray water on your ankles, plunge into ice-cold water, and finish in a warm jet pool with waterfalls. You're there for about 45 minutes--just enjoy it! The staff was amazing--very friendly and attentive. Our concierge was Violette--she is OUTSTANDING! I'm sure I didn't cover everything, but I'll make it up with photos. Please enjoy the pictures!

This was our first all-inclusive experience, and we had an amazing time! I spent a week in Cancun celebrating my birthday with my family, staying at this beautiful all-inclusive hotel. The hotel's design is stunning, both inside and out, with a theme that highlights Mexico's natural elements. The use of natural light and lush indoor plants really stood out and created a memorable ambiance that I thoroughly enjoyed. Our room was fairly standard, but it included a beachfront view that we paid a bit extra to upgrade. We mostly appreciated the room service included in our package--the staff cleaned the room daily, restocked the fridge with water, and made sure we had fresh towels. The activities were the highlight of this trip and made it feel like a true vacation. I loved soaking up the sun and spending time in the pool. The hotel offers a variety of activities, with daily events that were a nice touch and gave us something to look forward to each day. Dining at the different restaurants was another aspect I enjoyed, even though not all of them hit the mark. Experiencing the variety of flavors they offered was fun, and my favorite spots were Blue Agave and Cielo. Overall, this was a fantastic first all-inclusive experience with my family. The beauty of the space, the wonderful service, and the engaging activities truly made the experience special. Paradisus really did feel like a paradise!

Paradisus is so pretty. There are greens everywhere! They're literally hanging in front of your room. Ask for room 301. It's got the perfect view of the pool. I was here in 2021 and 2022 for Illenium's Ember Shores. It was his 3-day music festival. It was glorious. Despite the rain and government trying to enforce rules, I had a blast. This year they really screwed up reservations for a lot of people. Rooms weren't ready when promised. I personally arrived before 11 AM but didn't get into my room until 6 PM. I had to nap on the beach. I felt like Paradisus set up different dining options for these 3 festival days (Fri, Sat, Sun) compared to their regular dining options. They only served burgers at the pool. Instead of ice cream, they had nachos. They had set menus at the restaurants. On Monday morning, it was like a 180 change because other non-festival guests started coming in. I got to eat ice cream at the ice cream cart instead of nachos. Alcohol was still unlimited, which was the best part.

Don't ruin your vacation .. stay away from this hotel or should i say Motel.. upon entrance seems like a legit nice place, but when you check in things changed.. food buffet is horrible always cold and recycled food.. they even use plastic reused cups that guest thow away in the trash, everything is horrible cracked walls old paint Mickey Mouse repairs the service is super slow... anyway you get the point. Nothing to eat for toddlers!

The hotel and the facilities were very clean, modern, and easy to navigate. Only issue was that the entire hotel was not cooled down. The service was excellent with room service, restaurants, bars, and the spa. Pleasantly surprised with all the restaurants. Food was very good and the individual restaurants were all distinctly different from other restaurants. The Malva restaurant has the buffet had the combination of all restaurants frim the resort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was great at the buffet. The beach area had good amount of lounge chairs and cabanas and a picture perfect scene with that warm Caribbean water. Only disappointment was the sargassum. First time at an all inclusive resort and was a great value. The excursions is a must: Xcaret, Chichén Itzá, and Isla Mujeres.

Unfortunately, for the past two years, our experiences have declined significantly. The hotel no longer maintains the level of service and standards we once loved. The atmosphere feels different, the staff are not as welcoming, and there is a noticeable lack of attentiveness and care. During this stay, we had a particularly unpleasant two-day experience at the beach regarding the setup of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rather than going into every detail, I will simply say the situation was handled poorly and left us very disappointed. What was most upsetting was that no meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience. Even after speaking with Guest Relations, who mentioned contacting the General Manager, nothing improved the following day. No accommodation or gesture was offered, which was surprising given the hotel's luxury positioning. It is also noticeable that the property feels quite empty during weekdays, except on special occasions or long weekends. Even then, the warmth and hospitality we once associated with this hotel seem to be missing. That said, I want to sincerely recognize Valenzo, who served us daily. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything, he would notice small details, like refilling ice before we even realized it was melting. His service was outstanding and he truly tried to make our stay better. Thank you, Valenzo. You made a difference. It is genuinely sad to see a place that once meant so much to us lose its standard. We checked in on a Sunday around 4:30, and the room was already cleaned up and ready. We stayed in one of the terrace rooms on the fourth floor, and the room was well maintained the whole trip. Housekeeping was really good, and the lady who seemed to consistently clean our room was super friendly. They also do evening turndown service between about 6 and 9, which I liked more than I thought I would. The food was hit or miss. Sea Corner was easily the biggest disappointment. You really have to like ceviche to enjoy that spot. I tried the battered fish taco, which was a really small rolled fried fish taco and honestly tasted kind of stale. The red snapper tostada was okay, but still pretty subpar. Overall, Sea Corner is one I would skip. Ciete's breakfast buffet was decent, but still very buffet. Some of the food had that stale, been-sitting-out-too-long taste, but the omelet bar and fresh juice/smoothie bar helped a lot. They have two omelet bars, which spreads people out, and Marco at the smoothie bar was awesome. He remembered me after my first smoothie and was friendly the rest of the trip. Azure was pretty good. We split hummus and pita, and I got the chicken in red wine. The chicken was cooked perfectly and came on a bed of mashed potatoes that were really good. Dessert was just okay. The baklava was very cinnamon-heavy and almost tasted like a churro. MB was good and definitely felt like their "dress up" restaurant. I had the stuffed chicken, my girlfriend had the veal cheek, and we also tried the filet mignon. The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the meal overall was good. Not amazing, but one of the better dinners there. Hidden Garden was probably our favorite restaurant. We went there twice because it was that good compared to the other options. The samosas, gyoza, chicken satay, shrimp fried rice, and desserts were all really good. The Thao, basically their version of orange chicken, was also really good. The pad Thai was okay, but sweeter than I prefer. Their signature cocktails were also really good. The Thursday night show was a nice part of the trip. They had a buffet by the pool, with a mariachi band from 7 to 8 and traditional Mexican dancing from 8 to 9. The dancing was almost like a theater-style show, and that part was great. The buffet was on par or slightly below par. They had a crepe bar, a grill with pretty good steak and chicken, and a couple decent soups, but a lot of it still had that left-out-too-long, slightly stale buffet taste. The entertainment and activities were a big highlight. Trivia every night was great, and karaoke was a blast once people started getting into it. Pablo hosted trivia and karaoke with Jorge as the DJ, and Pablo brought a lot of energy. Jorge also DJs at Egos later at night, and they played a good mix of American dance music and Latin dance music. During the day, we tried archery, water aerobics, bingo, the guacamole class, casino night, and a self-facial class. Archery was a blast, and aqua aerobics in the infinity pool was really fun. Ricky was a ball of energy, and Jocelyn was really cool too. The activities did not feel like boring resort filler, which was a nice surprise. A few things could be better. Pool towel service closes at 6, even though people are still in the pool later. There is also basically no shade in most of the pools, so you get crispy pretty fast. They also need to be clearer about which pool beds are first-come, first-serve and which ones are paid or for Club Aqua. I saw multiple people get moved because it was not explained well. Communication could be better too. Some restaurants are closed on certain days, probably because the resort was around 50% capacity, but they should give you a schedule at check-in. We planned to try Verana, their Italian restaurant, and then found out it was closed that day. The humidity is something to think about. Obviously it is Cancun, but the indoor areas and hallways do not have much air circulation. Our fourth-floor hallway also had a broken water feature with sitting water, and I think that made the hallway smell more humid and musky than the rest of the resort. The drinks were decent, but I would not go in expecting strong resort cocktails. I drank margaritas and pina coladas most of the trip and never really felt much from them. For stronger drinks, shots are probably the better route. Overall, Live Aqua Cancun was a really nice, relaxing trip. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the activities were way more fun than expected, and Hidden Garden was a nice surprise. The food is not amazing across the board, the pool setup could be better, and communication could use work, but I still had a really good time. Good resort, not perfect, but definitely worth checking out.

The staff is genuinely friendly, always smiling, and quick to help with anything. Casa Madre became my go‑to spot for breakfast. Tons of options, fresh food, and something for every mood. After that, I'd swing by the coffee shop, which surprised me in the best way. They don't have the fancy frappes or over-the-top drinks, but their "Special Coffee" (fresh coffee mixed with cinnamon and honey) is perfect. Simple, warm, and honestly better than anything blended. For lunch, the taco stand and the Mediterranean spot right next to it were both solid choices. The chicken was super soft and flavorful -- exactly what you want when you're grabbing something quick between pool time. Dinner was where the resort really shined. Delphini had an incredible ocean view that made the whole meal feel special. And the Japanese hibachi night was a blast -- great food, fun show, and it totally hit the spot. Overall, I loved my stay. Definitely need to take stake on pool side chairs in the morning. We reserved cabana before we arrived. Online Marriott Experience app makes it easy reserve dinner and other things! They have several options of the usual themed restaurants. Casa Madra is the Mexican one and probably the least interesting, there were was an odd lack of salt on the chips and food :-) The Japanese combo restaurant (sushi and hibachi) appears confusing to customers and staff :-) Much of the sushi related menu appears to have an additional cost. I was told that the California Roll roll was extra, but the sashimi platter had a roll? The Diakon Maki was great. No chopsticks available for some reason close to closing? Hibachi was okay but I was missing the "yum yum sauce" :-) The unique beach side Delphina restaurant is probably the best and have some good dishes. Had a great red snapper catch of the day at the Hana restaurant. Two restaurants double for buffet style breakfast serving. The one at the Mexican restaurant is open to the outdoors, but they have hawk trainers to keep the birds away :-) The Champions sport bar is out by the main entrance door to the left. Open 12m to 12am. Damien is great. Pro tip: get a latte from the main lobby and top off with Bailey from the sports bar before the lobby bar opens at 4pm : Janssen has some cool tricks and drinks at the lobby bar :-) Very clean, staff of all levels picking up things everywhere. There is turn down service here, which I wasn't expecting. Large number families with kids, which didn't brother us. Count on a destination wedding party over a weekend stay :-) Coming here between the two US holidays (Thanksgiving & Xmas) there is a dip of occupancy to around 50% it appears. All in all positive and not a bad place to burn your Marriott points in my mind. It may not be a high-end all inclusive resort but will fit many just fine :-)

The reality was the exact opposite. Check-in took over an hour because staff claimed they couldn't find our Expedia reservation. Another person in our group had already paid for services through the resort's website but was repeatedly asked for additional payment. Our group spent an extra $1,000 on upgrades hoping to improve the experience. It didn't. The rooms were small, outdated, dirty, and not worth the extra cost. The food was terrible. We expected mixed quality based on reviews, but much of it was barely edible. Making dinner reservations felt intentionally difficult, and once we finally secured them, we were forced to sign agreements acknowledging additional fees if we were late. The biggest disappointment was the complete lack of atmosphere. There was very little music, almost no nightlife, and most activities shut down before 11 PM. We ended up leaving the resort almost every night so the boys could find entertainment elsewhere. What frustrates me most is how misleading the marketing is compared to the actual experience. After more than 15 years of booking travel through Expedia, I'm genuinely disappointed that Expedia continues to partner with and promote a resort that feels built around false advertising, upselling, and disappointing guests. We trusted the Expedia brand, and this resort fell far short of the experience it promised. Save your money and book somewhere else.

Sometimes all inclusive hotels can feel gimmicky, like being on a cruise ship or something. This was not that at all. This was a high end experience from start to finish. The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. I was blown away by the care they take to tend to each guest. I was only there for a few days and people took the effort to learn my name and my personal preferences. To start, the room was incredible. I stayed in a suite and it had a juccuzi right inside the room and an ocean view with a hammock. The room also came with a mini bar which was restocked daily (although you could also call and request anything at any time). Every day they had a different schedule of activities for guests with quality entertainment (not tacky acts). They had all all white party with a circus one day which was fun, a foam party, bull riding and more. The food deserves its own review. It exceed my expectations by a lot. They had several food options to choose from, including an Asian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a mexican restaurant a cafe and a global buffet. The restaurants were all open extended hours until 10 or 10:30 so there were always food options available. The global buffet did different themed dinners every night. Of the restaurants, I liked all but I'd say the Mediterranean was the most high quality. The preparation and taste was on par with any top NYC restaurant. The octopus dish was especially memorable. Second favorite was probably the Mexican restaurant. They have a chef from Oaxaca who makes a great mole. At each restaurant, the managers always made an effort to stop by my table to make sure I had what I needed. The employees genuinely care about serving you and they do it gladly. Sometimes you go to places where the employees are disgruntled or have a bad attitude. Not the case here at all. Everyone seemed generally happy and in a good mood. It felt like most of the people here were celebrating something, whether a bachelorette party or birthday, but it didn't feel overall raucous or anything. They had a silent disco one night and I think that also helped with any potential late night noise issues. I was really impressed with how well curated the schedule of activities was. Additionally, the hotel was very clean. When I first got in, people were mopping. They're constantly changing pool towels that are left out. Everything was spotless. The sheets were crisp and white. My room was changed to my liking. No complaints. One of the better places I've stayed. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I loved it here!

This was not my first visit to Hyatt Zilara Cancun and it was actually my amazing experience here in 2019 that started my loyalty to Hyatt. I am currently a World of Hyatt Discoverist member, and after my first visit to Zilara, we loved the Hyatt experience so much that we chose Hyatt Ziva for our vow renewal in 2022. Because of that, returning to Zilara was something I had looked forward to for years. First, the staff at this resort deserves so much recognition. My concerns are not a reflection of the employees because the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. From before we even arrived to our final day, everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted guests to have a great experience. Before our trip, Eddie reached out as our concierge and was extremely helpful in making sure we were prepared for our stay. He helped coordinate our spa services ahead of time and assisted us with securing a late checkout, which made our trip much smoother and more relaxing. At check-in, Luis helped us on the World of Hyatt side and was wonderful. He explained the changes and additions to the resort, helped us understand reservations, and made sure we had the information we needed. Throughout the resort, the service remained consistent. Even when I had a meal I didn't enjoy, a staff member at the teppanyaki restaurant was genuinely concerned, offered alternatives, and wanted to make it right. That level of care stood out. Our room was excellent. We stayed on the fifth floor in a corner room and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and I loved the pillows so much I am actually trying to find out what kind they are so I can buy them for home. The bathroom was great, especially the mirror with multiple lighting options. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which I always appreciate. The only thing I personally missed was having a bathtub, but overall I had no complaints about the room. The resort itself is beautiful and extremely clean. The pool area is relaxing with comfortable chairs, and it was never difficult to find a place to sit. The atmosphere is definitely more quiet and relaxing rather than a party environment, which can be a positive depending on the type of trip you want. The beach was well maintained, especially considering the seaweed situation during our visit. The staff worked hard to keep it cleaned up, and the things outside of the resort's control, like weather and ocean conditions, did not impact my opinion. The spa was absolutely phenomenal and I wrote a separate review specifically for that experience because it deserves its own recognition. The gym was also impressive for a resort gym. There was plenty of equipment, treadmills, a stretching/yoga space, and even a Pilates studio. I was hoping to participate in Pilates, but the class filled up quickly. I thought the fitness offerings were a nice addition. Where this stay fell short for me was the food. At an all-inclusive resort, the food experience is such a huge part of the overall value because you are eating every meal on property. When we visited in 2019, one of our favorite memories was eating at Pelicanos by the pool, so we were excited to return there first. We knew things had changed since our last visit, but unfortunately the quality and options did not feel the same. We tried several restaurants, and while the service was always great, the food itself was disappointing. The Italian restaurant felt very bland overall, although the bread service and tiramisu were enjoyable. The cacio e pepe and pasta dishes did not meet expectations. The teppanyaki experience also was not what I expected. I was hoping for more of a traditional hibachi-style experience, and the meat quality was disappointing. The buffet was fine, especially breakfast, but nothing really stood out. Room service was quick and the staff was friendly, but again the food itself was not something we loved. My favorite treat on property ended up being the ice cream at the coffee shop. The biggest thing I missed was having easy poolside food options. When I'm at an all-inclusive, I love being able to relax by the pool and grab things like quesadillas, ceviche, or small bites without stopping the pool day. The lack of that type of experience was probably my biggest disappointment. Drinks and pool service were great, and the staff did a wonderful job checking on guests. I personally don't drink alcohol, but it was clear they were attentive with beverages. Entertainment was limited compared to some other all-inclusive resorts. There were some activities and a few performances, but not the larger

It had the best reviews for what we, as a family, needed. The whole point of the trip was to take our family, including abuelos, on a vacation everyone would enjoy. Being abuelos' first time at an all-inclusive, it exceeded their expectations and they loved the experience. They were able to get food and drinks as they pleased. For the kids, all they needed was a kid friendly pool, other kids to play around and they were happy. However, Fiesta Americana Condesa also offers a kids club from toddlers to teens. I do want to highlight how EVERYONE ( all staff) were exceptional from the moment we step foot on the property to the time we left. For our family, every eatery visited was well run, again all staff was super friendly and more than helpful with some even go your of their way to accommodate for reasonable food preferences, specifically, the Buffet. Are there things that can improve? Yes, of course there are, just as with any other hotel. Some of the fixtures might need updates, the gym could use 40 -45 lb (18-20kg) dumbbells and recovery equipment, Sushi Corner MOST DEFINITELY HAS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT and lastly, there could be more adult activities. But in reality, most people come to ALL-INCLUSIVES to drink to your hearts content, drink some more, then drink some more and maybe throw in some food somewhere. The central lobby bar didn't seem to be at a loss for patrons throughout the day. If you're looking for fun time, a good variety of food, adult and family friendly activities, and WON'T BREAK THE BANK then I'd recommend checking out Fiesta Americana Condesa.
