This was my first time visiting Regal Broward located at the South entrance of the Broward Mall. The theatre lobby was large with a concession stand, service desk, and a small game area. It wasn't that crowded inside. I approached the concession stand to purchase a ticket and redeem my small popcorn birthday offer. I requested no butter on my popcorn and the employee who served me was pleasant. There are 16 air conditioned theatres showing different movie genres. The theatre I went into was clean and spacious, with comfortable regular seats. I was glad I had the opportunity to watch Avatar: Fire and Ash. Though the movie was extremely long, the picture quality was bright and crystal clear with crisp, vibrant colors, and the sound was immersive with dynamic range. I normally don't eat a lot of popcorn, but the serving given was tasty enough to last for the duration of the movie. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and hope to visit again soon. read more

Regal Broward is a super clean and chill movie theater. They have great deals on Tuesdays where it's $6.99 plus taxes and fees for movies at any time and Regal location. They had a weird check-in process where you have to check-in at concessions but other than that it's a solid theater. read more

The seating was ok. Just normal seats with a little reclining. The screen was big and the audio was as well good. But on the screen there was a splash stain. When we first walked in the auditorium it was a little messy. There was popcorn in the seats and beer cans sitting in the cup holder. Update: 5/5/24 I like to update my review for the Broward Regal location as this is my go to Movie Theatre since it's right near my home. I visit on average twice a week with my unlimited pass. I do not understand the rating of this location being under 4 stars. The staff is always professional, they really do a nice job keeping the place clean, the staff is always moving around working doing things and the management overall is very present. Sometimes you're going to get people who visit movie theaters and restaurants alike that do not know how to act when they are in public places. The theatre etiquette is that when you're done watching your movie TAKE YOUR OWN TRASH TO THE TRASH BINS. That is the customer's responsibility ...that is your own garbage throw it out when you're done eating. I will never understand people who do not pick up after themselves and then blame the companies. So, I want to give the staff credit for doing a great job keeping up with the place and always making my movie theater experience a wonderful one. read more

Regal theater is always calm and quiet. As you guys know, I frequent multiple theaters from West Palm to Miami because well I love the movies. This is one of the better Regal. they are not fully upgraded however, they are clean, the staff is polite, and there's hardly ever a line. Not to mention the theaters are clean I said. Trust me some Regal's need to be updated and the theaters are not clean, it was a pleasure to visit this location. I took my children to see an anime titled the boy and the heron. This is definitely one of my favorite things about Regal theaters is that they play a wide selection of movies that aren't the norm. I've attended the movies at this location for years. I'm an unlimited member and spend plenty of money here year round. I've never requested any concessions for poor services ever. I wasn't feeling well an hour into a 2 1/2 hour movie. Meaning there's still an hour and a half left for the movie. I requested a movie pass to return at another time and 2 managers told me no that's not their policy. There was no empathy or consideration due to the fact I wasn't feeling well. I like the location and the Regal Club app and choosing my seats. BUT they serve rancid butter oil on their popcorn. The last time I was there, Oct. 2024, After eating a large pop corn with layered butter, I had severe diarreah for 24 hours. That has never happened there before. So I havecto assume they didnt change the oil and let it sit too long. Don't know what their procedure is for freshness, but I am afraid to have buttered pop corn there again! Going to the movies isn't what it used to be anymore...i normally find uninterested staff who would rather be talking and subpar, highly expensive, and usually stale food. But then.... This theater. It was pretty clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Let me just say-the popcorn was so good! It wasn't stale, the didn't haphazardly pour butter on a few kernels, it was fresh, evenly salted, evenly buttered popcorn! Theaters are expensive for food, but we enjoyed it very much. Went to this location and the were out of Sierra Mist (which they gave my friend one that was all soda water) It Took 23 minutes to get pretzel bites which the a manger just said "sorry" and that's basically it , like that's going to make my 20 mins late into the movie better. Someone was laying across the seats and was kicking the chair next to us. (Not like the theater is in charge of who comes to their place of business) But just added to the "pleasant experience " The staff at the food court are clueless and have zero since of urgency. I shouldn't have even ordered the pretzels since the staff said "oh that will be awhile" The bathrooms were filthy, had to go to three stalls to not have pee on the seat or floor and there is more toilet paper on the floor then there was in stalls. There is a reason why this place wasn't busy.... It's an after thought to all of the staff who work here. We will not be back. A normal regal! Nothing spectacular but mostly clean. The seats aren't super comfortable and are a little old but overall the theaters still work. They have plenty of theaters as well allowing for more movies to play and at more times per day. Perfect just to chill and enjoy whatever movie. Not really busy which is aways a plus. read more

For a newer theater, we are not too impressed. There is assigned seats you can pick, however, the seats are so uncomfortable, straight, hard, and rock in a very odd way that I could barely focus on the movie because it was a painful experience. We don't normally opt to come here first as we like the theaters with recliner seating, but we were buying tickets in advance for John Wick 3, and this was one of the closest theaters who was selling them at the time. We wanted to go on the first viewing for opening week on a Thursday. The screen for our most recent auditorium was big, but it had this grainy look on the picture. I asked my husband if he saw it too, and he had also noticed it. It's convenient if you are near the Broward Mall. It has the usual concessions regular theaters have. For the location, you can go to Paragon and have a much more comfortable experience. read more

First time at this theater, and if you're wondering what RPX means, it is Regal Premium Experience, which just translates to a pin-sharp, brighter, clearer picture and sound quality. To enter, you must go through the entrance by TWE Mexican Bar & Grill, as what appear to be the doors to the cinema are Exit doors only. Designed with amplitude, they are located south of Macy's in the Wesfield Broward Mall; allocating twelve (12) stadium-seating auditoriums with non-reclining rocking chairs, but nevertheless comfortable, with headrests and cup holders. The crew was busy working to clean and serve their guests with a smile, and the ladies room was impeccable! On this visit, we were celebrating a Birthday GNO, so two of us went ahead to reserve our favorite seats with purses and sweaters--so we could sit together. Checking in was easy--all we had to do was show our confirmation barcode. The best seats IMO are right behind the pole, so you can rest your feet up on them if you wish, but the rest are just as good. They keep the auditoriums colder than most, so ladies, I recommend small blankets or sweaters. As an added bonus to concessions, this cinema has a party room, a fun candy machine, a photo booth, and a game room; but they do not serve alcohol. Although I wasn't very happy that it was General Admission and couldn't pick our seats beforehand, it turned out to be a wonderful experience for us all. This Regal Theater is my local theater. At one point of time, I loved it. Now, not so much. Lately, the service has gone completely to brimstone. One time the attendant forgot the food we ordered, claimed they were going to bring it to our seats, not necessary but nice. Never brought the food, we went to grab it. Missed the beginning of the movie. My most recent experience was for Dr. Strange 2, the RPX theater was so hot, no A/C the floors were (pretty much always) so slippery when walking to your seat and the entire screen went out showing a computer program. Staff is doing their best and I appreciate that they have to work holidays (like Christmas and thanksgiving) since my family traditions have us going to films on those days. Today August 20th, I as well as my girlfriend and 3 friends went to watch the 'Dragon Ball Super Hero' movie at 5:00 P.M at this location. Upon leaving the movie around 7:00 P.M we noticed an armed security guard yelling at a young man telling him "what are you staring at don't act hard, you know how many kids I've killed with my right hand?" Or something similar to that. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable and needs to be addressed and to be honest this security guard does not deserve to work any job that requires him having a gun if he feels the need to threaten an unarmed person for a dirty look. I spoke with the first manager I could find told him the situation but they seemed to just brush it off as if it was no big deal. I stood around for roughly 30 minutes until another more professionally dressed manager walked by. When I told him the situation he was much more understanding and at least allowed me to write down a statement and gave me an email address, which happens to not work when I try sending the email. On a much smaller scale there was also clearly issues with communication considering one of my friends ordered food and paid for it and was then told they were completely out of the item. The manager did give us a replacement item but still not the best experience over all. I contacted a police non emergency line and told them the situation they informed me they contacted the security guard and he lied to them saying he was talking about some kind of shooting involving children that happened recently. read more

Received a gift card for Regal Theatres so we decided to see Venom as a family last Saturday afternoon. Movie was fine and theatre was ok. Used the electronic kiosks to purchase tickets and worked well with gift card purchase. It recognized our Rewards card also, although we never seem to earn anything of value here. The Cheetos popcorn was back and delicious. Wife got a soda and regular popcorn for a small fortune. The theatre appeared clean and everyone was courteous thru movie. It is hard for me to believe that this Regal location was just built a few years ago. With so many theaters now converted to reclining seats, it almost seems outdated! After using recliners, the seats now feel uncomfortable. I would really rather not see movies here. Since it is located at the mall, parking can be rough. There is only one concession stand so lines are usually very long. I really don't care to have my bag searched and this is the one theater which always insists on searching my bag. Saturday January 21st. My sons 15 birthday. My daughters that are 19&18 decided to take their brother out for a movie for his birthday now they are both old enough to drive cars. They can legally both go to jail BUT THE TICKET TAKER WAS GIVING THEM A HARD TIME ABOUT A MOVIE with their little brother. Y'all can't even be serious?? This guy gave them such a hard time a manager had to be called. $46 bucks on tickets plus another $33 at the snack bar and y'all were gonna say there's a curfew for the 15 year old. And keep in mind the movie started at 9pm. RIDICULOUS and we will go to another movie theater next time we decide to see a show. It smells bad in here too both of my daughters have horrible allergies and both had to take medicine this morning from still being congested. read more

Had my worst time at the Regal ever, hot theater when trying to watch multiverse of madness when there was about 25 people in there and there was no AC blowing at all. I doubt AC was broken since the lobby and hallways are fine with cool temperature but as soon as you stepped into theater 11, it was no wind and only way to enjoy movie was by not moving at all or any motion would make you feel hot and stuffy and sweaty so it was a miserable time in there especially after I and other patrons went to complain about it to the management and they said "they would look into it" but feels like they never did anything as if being one of the final movies of the night gives them an excuse to save money, cut costs and not do anything to make a theater experience enjoyable with some AC. Horrible service and attention. And then even worse is the "spicy chicken sandwich"..take that off the menu asap or boycott this sandwich and avoid wasting your money for the dryest, coldest sandwich that had no "hot honey sauce" it claims to have...when I picked it up, everything was cold and when I tried getting them to reheat it or something, it got cold again in a minute...super dry, nothing spicy about it at all...worst movie experience I've had. read more

Self-service kiosk for ticket purchases = yes!!! I was looking for something to do while in the area that didn't involve the sun for a change since we were already planning on a beach afternoon and had just spent half a day baking by the pool the day before. So, I decided I'll go see IT here. I ordered some food from the concession and proceeded inside. They do a security bag check which was fine. The guy tried to scare me when he saw the movie title I bought a ticket for but it didn't really work. No harm... He was trying to make his job exciting I suppose. The theater itself was huge and the experience was nice minus the girls or women behind me who were chatting and giggling the entire time. They did send someone inside to walk around a few times during the movie which made the giggle club shut up for a time or 2. Nice screen and sound, nice service. Prices are pretty much what you would expect from a movie theater. read more

This is an average mall theatre. It has huge theatre seating, and some of the theatre rooms are THX, or is it RPX? Either way the sound was above average. Our theatre was huge, probably seating 250. But with a theatre that size, it was absolutely freezing inside. The seats were average. Not old school seats, but not new recliner seats either. Just big not-too-oversized leather seats, and the arm does NOT fold up to snuggle your date when it's freezing throughout the whole movie. Employees are friendly. Parking is private mall lot spaces. Accepts online ticket payments, as well as ticketing booth, and ticketing machine. Concession stand is average. read more

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed by my first experience at this theatre. In short, the screen was grainy/smudged, the bathrooms were disgusting, and teenagers were sneaking in and out during the showing causing a disruption. First of all, our movie was playing in theatre 10. As soon as we sat down, my husband and I both noticed what looked like a giant smudge/grainy portion of the screen right in the middle of the screen. It looked as if there could have been a smudge on the projector or something along those lines. We each separately said something to employees as we individually went to the restroom and nothing was done about it. To pay $25 to watch a movie on an unclear and grainy screen is completely disappointing. I'm not one to care about screen quality, as in Blu-Ray vs. DVD, but this was extremely noticeable and distracting. Then, I visited the restroom. The first two stalls I attempted to enter were filthy. The most frustrating part about this was that there were several employees hanging around right outside the restrooms, so I wish someone would have checked on the bathrooms more regularly. Lastly, I know the theatre cannot control the guests BUT there were several groups of teenagers that were clearly sneaking in and out of the theatre. I don't care that they snuck in, but they came in loudly and talked at full volume for the 10-15 minutes they sat in there and then left. That's so distracting to all the other moviegoers who came to that theatre because they actually wanted to see that movie. Again, when we left there were several employees standing around, so I'm not sure why there wasn't anyone patrolling anything. I know I sound totally bitter but I will not be returning to this theatre. We usually go to Paragon Ridge 8 and I've never had any issues there. We tried our neighborhood theatre out and now we know it's not worth the money and frustration. read more

My first visit to this was a good experience. I was smart enough to read the reviews first on Yelp so I went armed and dangerous with a long sleeve shirt and a thick jacket, so temperature wise I was good. I would much more prefer to be chilly than hot. The theater was full and the room temperature was great with all of my armour. The theater sound was on point. Volume, bass, acoustics, were all of superb quality. The theater was very clean and the seats do lean back and rock which I loved. Additionally, there was ample leg space and cup holders on both sides of the seats so you were comfortable and not squished. I was able to secure my ticket on line and have it sent directly to my phone with Fandango app. I walked right in and showed it to the ticket taker who scanned the QR code and off I went. Loved the convenience! My only complaints are as most theaters in general...cost of popcorn and drinks is nuts, but then again, I didn't have to pay , so why complain? Don't forget to sign up for your Regal Rewards card so that you can earn points for food and tickets! Bon movie! :-) read more

The theater itself is relatively nice in the sense that it's a newer theater and regular people haven't had a chance to make it COMPLETELY disgusting yet. Despite the fact that the seats don't recline like a lot of newer theaters do they're still pretty comfortable and lean back a little bit. No alcohol kind of sucks in 2019 but I guess I understand considering it's a mall. The staff alone gives this theater a 1 star. I understand that there are a lot of high schools in the area (one of which I went to) so there are a lot of kids working here for cheap minimum wage (or close to it) labor, but that's literally all there is here even on a Friday night. I don't think I saw anyone who resembled an adult in a managerial role for most of the night and the place suffered as a result. We waited 10-15 minutes for popcorn as multiple employees hovered around the machine chatting, our cashier failed to successfully fill a cup with our Icee, the digital projector crashed when the movie was supposed to start and it took them around 20-30 minutes before they even tried to restart the computer, and after 45 minutes of waiting and the movie still hadn't started we finally left and walked past 3 employees waiting at the entrance messing around on the walkie talkies. When we got to the customer service counter to get a refund we waited another 10-15 minutes because there was no one to be found. This theater really has no obligation to be anything more than it is since it's tied to a mall and will get business by means of foot traffic and overpriced concessions. However there's a reason why when I went to book tickets online the week OF a major movie release there was still an entire theater full of empty seats for 7:30pm on a Friday night. read more

So I honestly only come here because of its' distance to my home. If I am trying to see a movie close a home, I am going to choose Broward Regal over Paragon Ridge any day... This Regal was recently built and when I first saw it being built I was super excited over the idea until I realized...........it's at Broward Mall. Not the worst mall ever but definitely not Aventura quality. I already know coming to this theater on the weekends is out of the question. The entrance is odd. There is doors on the curb that you would think is the entrance but nope, its the exit. You have to enter the mall to access it. Another weird thing, only two kiosks? Really? Who buys tickets from real people anymore? I was surprised to see two lonely kiosks to purchase/pick up tickets. I can't imagine the lines for them on the weekend. The theaters itself is nice. I was surprised by how comfy the seats were. I have seen someone post a picture on here of leather seats somewhere in this location, where!!! I want to try lol.
