I came in to Downey Dental Arts because I had a wisdom tooth that had been bothering me and I'd been in a lot of pain for a couple of days. They were able to get me in for an appointment very quickly, which I really appreciated. As soon as I arrived, I didn't even have to wait long to be seen. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from beginning to end. Luis made me feel comfortable right away and was so kind throughout the process. Dr. Azimi was amazing--very professional, gentle, and reassuring. He explained everything clearly and made sure I felt at ease during the procedure, which really helped since I was already in pain. Norma, who handles finances, was also extremely helpful. She took the time to explain everything in detail--what my insurance would cover and what my portion would be--so there were no surprises. I came in for a emergency surgical extraction of a wisdom tooth that was 75percent broken off, was kind of nervous about the pull because there was basically nothing left to pull just piece of tooth but Dr. Azimi was absolutely fantastic he is the best, it was painless and the procedure was over within 2 minutes or less. I did a lot of research before choosing DDA. There were places closer to home and less expensive but good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good. I had neglected my teeth for years and was finally ready to go full upper denture. Deep cleaning on the bottom by Hygienist Elizabeth, upper work by Dr. Kristine and all negotiated through Norma. So happy with the service so far that I took my son in for a checkup and found he needed some work as well. He's done already. I'm at phase 2 with one more phase to go. The office staff is amazing so that normal stuffy vibe you get from most Dental offices doesn't exist here. LGBTQ friendly, was very important to me for my son. read more
