It's the kind of place where you can say to the bartender "I'm feeling something gin based, maybe something blackberry flavored" and they will make you a unique cocktail based on what you're feeling, even if you don't know exactly what you want. During the month of December, they hold "miracle at mezzo"- a Christmas themed pop-up that was previously hosted at intermezzo. To eat - we ordered the gyoza and the miso udon. The gyoza was incredible - an explosion of flavor unlike anything else I've had in a long time. Truly unforgettable and honestly the best part of my entire weekend. The miso udon was good as well - my partner thought the udon might've been just slightly overcooked. We split both and then decided to order the gyudon as well afterwards. The gyudon was also very good - daikon radish was a great addition to the flavor! With respect to the atmosphere/ambience - it's a small place, but cozy. The music was nice - the bartender allowed me to browse some of the records.
