Beautiful scenery, great service, delicious food. You couldn't really ask for anything else. This place is perfect for date night, lunch, business dinners or a celebration. They have multiple floors to fit your vibe, beautiful views, elevators for accessibility and even the pier you walk to, to get there is stunning and there's a tour shuttle too. Only thing that's a little confusing is maybe parking as you have to walk to that the tour car to get to the restaurant. I had an amazing time and will absolutely be back!

Teak has some of the best views in downtown St. Pete, which is one of the reasons we always bring our friends here when they visit. On a recent visit, we started with the clam chowder because we have been telling our friends how good it was. Unfortunately, this time it was nothing like we had before. It arrived lukewarm, was extremely thick-almost like wallpaper paste- and had an odd taste. We mentioned it to the manager and he was very apologetic and removed it from our bill. He surprised even surprised us at the end of the meal with a complimentary dessert. He explained that they tried a different recipe that day. We told him they should go back to the original one because it is much better. For my meal, I ordered the Teak house salad with blackened chicken. It's one of my favorite salads and I could eat it every day! It comes with mandarin oranges, strawberries, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons and a delicious sesame pineapple dressing. I thought I had ordered the full-sized salad, but when it arrived it was smaller than I expected. It was perfect for lunch, but I probably wouldn't order for dinner unless I had an appetizer. I've had several of their seafood dishes as well, and they're always fresh and delicious. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. My husband usually orders the short ribs and says they are some of the best he's ever had. He orders them whenever he sees them on the menu so that's saying something. Overall, Teak is still one of my favorite restaurants to bring out of town visitors. The beautiful views, great service and good food keep us coming back. One thing to be aware of is the bill. A 20% service charge is automaticly added, and not all of the servers mention it. Just be sure to check your bill before adding an additional tip,

Took a trip to the pier in St Petersburg, it was more then I expected. They had plenty of parking and vendors before you entered the boardwalk. There is a park with sprinklers and a concession stand to get food and drinks with a DJ playing music. Also off to the left of the broad walk was a beach and plenty people with their children were in the water. In the middle of the broad walk was a souvenir shop and when we got to the end there was the restaurant and the bar was on the top floor. The bar was so cute and there also were 3 stations to sit down and just take in the scenery. We had a drink til it was time for our lunch reservation and the second floor. They had an elevator which was much needed from all the walking we did. The bartender was very nice and welcoming he wanted us to stay but we had to make our reservation downstairs. Very busy place, there were two different areas of the bar, front and back. Front was very full so we went to the back which still had nice views. We had an order of mussels, they weren't on the menu I saw someone eating them on the way in. We ordered the chicken on ciabatta.

Honestly I don't understand why there's such bad reviews I really love this place and the chicken was phenomenal and my wife even enjoyed the scallops. Now am I bias because we came almost 45 minutes prior to them closing maybe but the service was phenomenal it was really quick they were so nice and they even greeted our table just to make sure we were okay and we were happy with the food. The place was super nice and obviously the views were awesome I can't complain and especially when you have a kid I would recommend to go here whenever you can just to at least see the scenery.

Food was amazing, service was terrible. I had ordered the popcorn shrimp and clam chowder as an appetizer. The shrimp was good, perfectly fried. Clam chowder was amazing. For my entree, I went with the hazelnut mahi mahi. This was tasty. Fish was perfectly cooked. Parsnip puree was good and the carrots were tasty as well. For dessert, we ordered the Key Lime Pie Cheesecake, bread pudding, and creme brulee. All were good, but the key lime cheesecake was to die for. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. No one came to refill waters or ask if we wanted another round of drinks. Dirty plates left all over the table. Our waitress was frankly quite clueless. And then a mandatory 20% "service fee" tacked onto the bill? Bad service and a required 20% tip??? Ask me how that makes any sense.

It was Easter break and I booked for a party of 10. I called and the manager was so accommodating. He said they were booked for Easter and if I came in a little earlier he would make it work. I got there and Kylie and Mickey welcomed me and made it same like they were expecting me. A cool feeling. I mentioned it was my hubby's bday when I booked and they had all the details. I was very pleased. The service, ambiance, the view, the drinks all amazing. The only reason for my 4 stars, some of the dishes we ordered were just ok. Id you're in Tampa check them out.

We recently visited this restaurant to celebrate the last day of school, and it was the perfect spot to toast to summer! Located right at the end of the pier, the views of the water are absolutely stunning. It is a bit of a walk from the start of the pier, but there is a convenient shuttle available if you don't feel like making the trek. The service really stood out--the entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. As for the food, the clear winner was the Beef Short Rib. My cousin and I shared it, and it was delicious! The meat was tender, and the accompanying potatoes and broccoli were seasoned perfectly. We also tried the mac and cheese and the pineapple fried rice. While the mac and cheese wasn't quite our style, the rice was decent, though we were hoping for a slightly stronger pineapple punch. Overall, we had a fantastic time and a wonderful dinner. If you're looking for a great atmosphere with beautiful water views and excellent service, this is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

This place has a beautiful view and the food was actually good too. We made reservations to eat inside at their restaurant (Teak), but you may not need them because the place had availability. The upstairs bar (Pier Tiki) is first come first serve and you don't need reservations there. They have private tables that you can rent by the hour, if you want. On the bottom level they have a cafe (driftwood cafe) with coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream. If you have trouble with walking or trouble with using the stairs, they have a trolley that'll take you to the restaurant at the end of the pier and there's an elevator. that'll take you upstairs.

I do not understand why Teak doesn't have a higher rating. Perhaps it's from the scene-y bar Teaki a floor above or the fact that it's located at the end of the pier, so people expect it to be touristy (which, I mean, it IS a go-to for tourists) and overpriced. I don't know. But I can say for sure: the food is amazing, the service is excellent, the value is on point for what you get, and the ambiance can't be beat. Good for a date night or for when family (including kids!) is in town visiting. We were seated at a table by the windows overlooking the water. You get the water views while being in the cool A/C! We were greeted by a friendly waitress who brought us a complimentary amuse bouche (SO good) with a thank you card for being returning customers. After getting drinks, we started with the calamari. Usually, we prefer calamari with traditional lemon and marinara sauce. While this one was with a more Asian-inspired sauce, the squid itself was perfectly fried (not too much) and the sauce wasn't overpowering. This was as light as a fried dish could taste! For entrees, we got the deliciously seared scallops over mushroom risotto (I don't even like risotto and I inhaled the whole thing!), incredible airline chicken over polenta (yes, you absolutely can and should get meat at this seafood restaurant!), tender short rib, the cornmeal crusted grouper (can't go wrong here!) and a side of spicy and sweet pineapple fried rice. We really wanted to try the bread pudding or pineapple upside down cake, but couldn't fit in any more food this time. We're already planning for our next visit!

I've been to Teak for lunch and dinner and both have been very nice. The view is unbeatable during the day, at sunset, and after dark! The drinks are delicious, and the food menu offers interesting unique items. You're definitely paying for the location, but the quality of ingredients is also excellent. I got the tuna entree with rice noodles in a ginger carrot sauce and it was delicious and light! We had a party of 8 on a Friday night and service was extremely slow, but if you're wanting to sit and enjoy the view with no rush to turn the tables over to the next reservation, Teak is a great option! Be aware that you cannot drive all the way to the restaurant, you will have to walk or take the shuttle down the pier, and it is on the second floor (there is an elevator), so it may not be totally friendly to those with limited mobility or mobility aids.

We came here for Thanksgiving dinner and it was really nice. The rooftop had fun picture decor and a great view of the city. The turkey dinner was a special that they offered for Thanksgiving and it was yummy! We also got the Mac n cheese from their regular menu and that was good too, not my favorite but still good. We also had lobster bisque and that was my favorite would 10/10 recommend the soup!! The service was also very nice and we appreciated them being there even on a holiday.

A friend came to visit from Texas so I had to bring her to the Pier for the views and to sit at the Teak. The crab cakes were delicious. The salad was huge so we split it along with the dessert. The blackened grouper was perfect! The dessert was sweet with ice cream on the side. We sat at the bar on the 2nd floor and looked out at the water in the air conditioning. It was perfect for a hot afternoon.

We stopped in on a football Sunday after seeing fried chicken on the menu, and decided to stay because our bartender, Saja, and our server, Sam, were both so friendly and attentive. I ordered the Chicken Milanese and highly recommend adding a side of angel hair pasta. (which was a recommendation from Sam) Unlike a traditional Milanese, this version comes with a caper beurre blanc sauce. Even though it was listed on the menu, I wasn't expecting so much delicious sauce, and the pasta was perfect for soaking it all up. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was huge and delicious, topped with two very large chicken cutlets and served with syrup and bacon jam butter. He was extremely happy with his choice! The cocktails are on the pricier side, as they are at most places now, but both were very good. We tried the Pinkies Up and the Garden of Eden. I'd only recommend the Pinkies Up if you enjoy peach-forward drinks. Overall, Social Roost has a very cool, elegant and sexy vibe. I like that you can select from an assortment of proteins and bases for salads and bowls, allowing you to customize your order. The food was tasty. The cons were just too numerous for me. 1. The parking lots is chaotic, at best, as Cali is the corner unit of a grocery store plaza. If you are familiar with Florida parking lots, this is a textbook nightmare. 2. The service was horrendous. The hostess saw a half empty restaurant and told us our group of 5 would have a 10 minute wait. She was determined to give us a round table, but the couple who were occupying it, were lingering long past cashing out their check. We offered to sit elsewhere, and was told that it was a no. The tables were bolted to the floor and we should just wait. Finally, we convinced her to let us pull up a chair at a vacant table outside, to make 5 and she reluctantly agreed. Once seated outside, the table was bare, as the seating is on the plaza sidewalk. So, it's bare minimum - chairs and tables. Anything you need to eat- silverware, napkins, salt & pepper, must be brought from inside. Our waitress was working tables both inside and out, so we were overlooked. She would make an appearance to drop off menus, then take off for 10 minutes. She would return to do take our order and quickly disappear. It was frustrating ti have to ask for napkins, more drinks, the checks. There was no flow, no consideration for seated diners. The food was tasty with fair size portions. But, the experience made me feel like I was the one waiting the table. My friends suggested the Cali in Tampa as the better option. I'll pass.

It was delicious and so was the mustard it came with. My partner usually doesn't like mustard but he said this one complimented the sausage well. We sat inside by the kitchen so we had the pleasure of seeing all the food look and smelling delicious as it left the kitchen. Outside seating is also available. Everything we ordered was amazing. Only regret was not coming in my actual birthday for the free meal.

We started with the crispy pork belly, which looked a little on the drier side when it arrived but don't let that fool you, the brown sugar bourbon glaze it was dressed in was delicious. Really enjoyed it as a starter. The tavern burger came highly recommended as one of their best dishes, and while it was a good burger, it didn't quite blow us away. Surprisingly mild on flavor despite the toppings, and it's a BIG boy... which I know some people love, but I tend to prefer a smash burger so I'll take partial responsibility for that note! The fries, however, were excellent... textured, crispy, exactly how fries should be. The real standout of the visit was the chilaquiles (the chef's brunch special). It ran a little dry, but the flavors more than made up for it. The combination of crunchy tortilla chips, smoky sauce, pickled onions, egg, avocado, and cilantro all together was just so good... my boyfriend was equally obsessed. Would absolutely order again. Service was great and overall had a really enjoyable visit... Stillwaters continues to deliver a solid experience and I'll keep coming back!

On this visit, I order a couple old fashioneds. They were both very good. This is also a good place to come and get some work done like I did.

When we first walked in, we were greeted with a smile and asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but they were able to find us a table. It wasn't very busy when we went, but it did take a little while for them to get the table ready. The decor is definitely one of my favorite things about this place. It really feels like a library and restaurant combined, with books everywhere and the dining area downstairs. It's such a cute and cozy setting for lunch. I ordered the crispy chicken Cobb salad. It was refreshing and overall pretty good, but honestly, nothing too special in my opinion. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I expected and was a little dry, so I definitely needed some water with it. My husband got the club sandwich, and I actually really liked his! It was yummy and refreshing, but again, nothing that completely wowed us. For drinks, I got a glass of house wine which was really good, and my husband got an Old Fashioned. There were so many mosquitoes and flies in the restaurant, unfortunately Overall, we had a nice experience and really enjoyed the atmosphere, but considering the prices, I expected the food to be a little more impressive. I'm not sure if we would come back just for the food, but it's definitely a cute spot to check out if you're looking for a nice lunch with a unique atmosphere!
