We have given this place several chances, but without exception the service has been terrible! It's not the timeliness, but the condescending attitude! From the bartenders to the wait staff...they make you feel like you are bothering them. They made us feel like we weren't good enough to be there. Yes I know I've already reviewed Parc before but they never cease to amaze me. I have now worked my way through the entire menu. None of it disappoints. The venison was something completely different so it took me a few runs to get to it. Trust me just do it. It is phenomenal. The only reason I waited to to get this dish til last was because of the chocolate chipotle sauce. I'm not a big fan of chocolate. Hear me out. Just order this dish it is so perfectly balanced. The absolute perfect amount of dark chocolate bitterness paired with the spice of chipotle and rounded out with the sweetness of the mid rare venison wrapped in applewood smoked bacon for another beautiful level of flavor seals the deal. Service is always spectacular. Jay makes a killer cocktail. I personally love smoked old fashions. Ask him to make an old fashioned with laphroaig single malt instead of bourbon. Costs a bit more but totally worth it. Tip extra. You won't be disappointed. read more

Perfect spot for lunch and Skippack shopping! My mom and I enjoyed a lovely meal here with the world's nicest server. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which I highly recommend! The vodka-wasabi infused cocktail sauce is unlike any other I've had. It does have a serious kick to it though and will clear out your sinuses. We also split a couple plates including the lobster roll and crab scampi pizza. We loved every bite and the fries that comes with it are amazing. I SO want Parc to be my favorite restaurant in Skippack. We live only minutes away, and Parc was the first restaurant that we went to after moving to the area 3 years ago. The atmosphere, both inside and out is truly wonderful, and we have (pre Covid) enjoyed expertly mixed delicious cocktails at the cozy bar. I have nothing but praise for the bartender(s). My husband is a diner who is pretty easy to please. He generally thinks that what he has been served is "great". The last couple of times, though, he was more unimpressed. I agreed. Our visitors from out of town wanted to check out Parc for dinner because of the great ratings and beautiful descriptions and ingredients on the online menu. We did warn them about our more recent experiences and that things had definitely gone downhill. We went anyway. We sat outside, which was lovely and shady and comfortable EXCEPT for the uncomfortable metal chairs and very informal metal grated tables. Tablecloths would have helped and been more inline with the entree prices. No big deal, but still would have been nice. We greatly respect servers and we know that it is not an easy job. A good server who makes you feel welcome and seems to be happy to take care of you can turn even a mediocre meal into a nice dining experience. Our server, who I believe had been there for many years, really seemed to dislike his job. He seemed to resent our questions ( the quality and preparation of the seafood, etc). Parc is not inexpensive and I wanted to be assured by the waiter that I was making a good choice. Maybe he was having a very bad day. Once again, our cocktails were perfect! I ordered Salmon over couscous which was quite yummy. I wish I had the recipe for that couscous! My husband had the short ribs... a $30.00entree that was just horrible. It should have been sent back, but he chose to try to like it. The quarter inch thick tough, tiny pieces of beef were smothered in a strong ( too much 5 spice powder maybe) barbecue style sauce. It was just plain terrible. He ate some and then boxed it for lunch the next day, he had a bite and threw the rest away at home.. I can't imagine anyone thinking this was good. One of our friends ordered mussels which sounded so delicious by the menu description. They were tiny and so overcooked that she had a hard time pulling them out of their shells. The manager kindly took them off the bill . I live in a wonderful community of many well traveled retired people ( retired people love to dine out!) Many of our neighbors have lived in the area for a long time. When the subject of good restaurants came up at a recent gathering, no one included Parc. As one neighbor put it " That place has really gone downhill over the years. Only tourists who believe all of the positive Yelp reviews go there" I really hope that Parc will try to restore its status as one of the best restaurants in our area. There are so many things that are right about the business. Until they fix what's wrong, we will patronize other restaurants on Skippack Pike. read more

I went to a baby shower at the Parc Bistro. They hosted it in the barn in the back. It was set up and decorated very nicely. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! We had Chicken Marsala, potatoes, crab cakes, beans and carrots, Caesar salad, pasta and bread. It was all tasty. I'm not big on crab cakes but this was marvelous. For dessert there were various pastries and cake and also coffee and tea. I'd like to return here and try the restaurant when it's not an event but for now they definitely receive high regards from me. read more

RUDE WAITER, BACKED BY MGMNT Four of us recently went there for dinner and two of us did not like or eat our meals. When we told the waiter that the entrée was not what he said it would be, he stormed off and stop waiting on us. The manager then came & waited on us, taking the one entrée off the bill. Including the generous tip, the meal was close to $200. When my wife went to talk to the waiter as we were leaving, he was extremely rude, telling both of us that if we didn't like it, "we should not come back". When I asked his manager about it he said "well, he has been very busy, and, well, uh, that's how we treat customers like you". We have eaten in restaurants all over the country as well as a lot of European restaurants. This place takes the cake as the worst restaurant and they need to listen to their customers instead of trying to placate an extremely rude waiter. read more

Went with two friends for brunch. Major complaints related to cleanliness and service. Noticed a piece of fruit on the floor under my chair as I was seated. Also noticed our waiter was wearing a stained shirt. Since we were the first customers in the door when they opened, this bothered me. We all ordered lobster eggs Benedict. The waiter brought out banana bread for the table. The food was good, might be the first time there was almost too much hollandaise sauce on eggs Benedict. I wasn't happy with the service. The waiter didn't check in often, we had to ask for drink refills. Also, the waiter took another table's order before ours, even though we were the first seated. Finally the dessert was extremely disappointing. The menu didn't show a price, we ordered the brownie sundae. It was extremely small portion, the brownie was thin and the ice cream wasn't even a full scoop. Turns out it was $10, so NOT worth it. Don't think I'd rush back. read more

Another delicious meal at Parc Bistro yesterday! Went to lunch with a friend and we're seated upstairs by a window. Great location, fantastic service, and as always, the most delicious food. I am severely gluten sensitive so I look for gluten free options, and Parc Bistro always takes great care of me. I had the scallops and butternut squash risotto, seriously so good! And my friend had a salad with grilled salmon, which she also loved. Highly recommend, over and over again, Parc Bistro is the most amazing restaurant and really takes care of their customers. I normally really like it here but when I went today for lunch I didn't have the best experience. I took one of my friends that had never been there and I was excited for her to try the great food and atmosphere. When we arrived we were seated in the back of the bar area. The area wasn't bad but our server, Mary was less than friendly from the beginning. When she was at the table she said what she needed to and hurried off before we could even ask any questions. I asked about the Crab and mango salad because I have gestational diabetes and I wanted to know if there was breading and if it was junks of mango or what. The description didn't list the mango so I asked "Is there mango in the salad? Are they chunks of mango?" She said with much attitude, "yea, it's in the name so they didn't put it in the description" and then told me it was chunks of mango which it wasn't. I then found 3 tiny ants in my drink but honestly didn't even want to tell her because she seemed annoyed anytime we needed anything from her. I saw another sever and told him about the ants. He apologized and moved our table. He was then our sever and was helpful. The food was good but the service was not! I really wanted my friend to love this place but I'm not sure she'll give it another chance after being treated that way. read more

Just had a most disappointing lunch today. The 'salad' I ordered turned out to be a mold of ahi tuna, green topping and a very unpleasant flavor. I tried to eat it but it was too unpleasant. My guest ordered the special of brisket sandwich which was so tough she had trouble cutting it and more difficulty chewing it. When server asked the problem and was told, she returned to ask if they could make good by providing a small pizza to take home. My guest agreed. Server returned with restaurant check and told us we'd been charged for the pizza but not the sandwich. Rude, surprising, illogical, disappointing and no, we will never return. From their burgers (FILLING AND TASTY!!) to their strawberry-topped scallops (DELICIOUS!!!) and even their martinis (STRONG!! ), every aspect of the restaurant, the service, and the food is top notch! We would love to visit during the evening and see how relaxed and cozy the atmosphere would be. We will definitely be returning for future date nights! Four for dinner on 4/1/2023. First time for all of us. Everything was excellent. Located in an adorable building. We were seated immediately for a 7 pm reservation. Very professional, knowledgeable, & prompt service. For starters we had an off menu crab cake which was excellent. Other starters were the bouillabaisse & artisan salad. Both reported to be excellent. For large plates I had the short rib bolognese. One of the best. It was so large I had to take 1/3 home. Others had the tile fish- cooked to perfection. Last was the venison loin. Again, perfectly cooked & not dried out. We ended with espresso. A great meal & relaxed ambience. We will be back. read more

Tonight I ordered the short ribs with rice and brussel sprouts to go. I really wanted to like this because I've had the brussel sprout pizza here before, which is delicious. Unfortunately this meal did not live up to the quality of the pizza. First off, it was not short ribs. It was rubbery skirt steak. The rice was bland. And there were only a few shavings of brussel sprouts. For $30.50 they could add don't more brussel sprouts. The sauce on the meat was tasty though. read more

The short ribs special I had here last night was nothing short of spectacular!!! Perfectly cooked, flavorful and delicious!! Comfort food at its best with eye tender meat atop amazing risotto , pearl onions, veggies.... My only complain about the restaurant is the noise level.... Why do people feel the need to scream when they talk snd laugh like hyenas in a very loud way?? I'll never understand why many people talk sooo loudly in public.... So I've been eating here on and off with a good friend of mine for several years now, and have never been disappointed. Today we met from Sunday Brunch, and it was delicious. I started with a bloody mary. Served in a red wine glass, it was a smaller portion than we city folk are used to, but it was nicely seasoned and served its purpose. Had I not been driving, I would have had another. For an appetizer, we tried the cerviche. A fruit cerviche with some light sweet tuna, it was a lovely mix of watermelon, pineapple, apple, scallions, and fish. It wasn't tart, and needed salt, but was innovative, light, and a perfect option on this brilliant sunny day. My one guest enjoyed a bowl of their multi-grain soup. Better tasting than named, it was a blend of lentils, barley, seasonings, chicken sausage, and was deemed delicious. I had the Shrimp and Grits for my main course. Packed with perfectly cooked shrimp, the fresh grits were jersey corn sweet. Seasonings included a bechamel cheese and various spices, but the winner for me was the lovely drizzle of Worcestershire and thin cut scallions. This was simply the best dish of grits I've had north of Georgia, and the blend of seasonings and generous portion of shrimp made me feel like I was brunching in the Big Easy. Best brunch dish to date, anywhere. The lobster benedict was thoroughly enjoyed, as was the peeky toe crab omelet that my other guest ordered. The omelet was served with some toasted raising bread that looked heavenly. The menu includes selections of pizzas that are baked to order in their wood fired oven. There's also a pasta dish of the day in similar fashion to the omelet of the day. Desserts are similarly delicious, although we all passed on this occasion. Service was prompt and friendly. So go and enjoy brunch the way it should be, delicious! read more
