Someone left a review and said "horrible location." That is not true at all, I'm not sure why they would even say that. This building couldn't be in a more perfect location. Especially if you don't have a car. The grocery store is a 6-7 minute walk, there's plenty of restaurants, a really nice AMC movie theater, and the metro is a 5 minute walk. You can also see the National Harbor from the rooftop and catch every rainbow after it rains. As far as price, you definitely get what you pay for! read more

Living here at Parc Meridian has been a huge letdown. Over the past couple of years, it feels like one thing after another. Back in 2024 and 2025, we had to deal with the lobby AC being broken for months, a business center that was basically unusable, frustrating losses of water and power, broken garage doors, and an emergency incident that shut down the fitness center for ages. Things didn't get any better into 2026, with constant issues like broken elevators, broken lobby doors, broken trash compactors that repeatedly forced residents to haul their own trash all the way down to the loading dock, and fire alarm activations. On top of all that, get used to the constant smell of weed and seeing dog pee in the elevators and across the complex. To make matters worse, we have had to deal with a persistent, awful odor coming into our unit from the mechanical room. After enduring 4 months of email correspondence and 4 separate maintenance tickets, when we finally gave our notice to vacate due to the ongoing odor and asked management to waive the fees either fully or partially, the property manager, Hunter, didn't even acknowledge the issue and instead rudely asked us to submit yet another maintenance ticket. With these unresolved conditions forcing us to leave, we were hit with a heavy $6,670 early termination fee, and management has been completely unwilling to work with us on a fair compromise. For a building that markets itself as luxury, the lack of basic upkeep, amenities, and supportive management is disappointing, and future residents should definitely think twice before signing a lease here. read more

Building is clean - they are cleaning the common areas constantly. Reception is pretty much always open - which is not only nice for safety and any issues that come up at night, but also great for package pick-up. Staff is EXCELLENT - friendly, professional, prompt. To put it simply; living at Parc Meridian makes me happy. My fellow tenants are always friendly and I love the management and staff. I enjoy seeing everyone BBQ and using the various facilities (dog washing room, office, pool, club house, espresso machine, etc). My dog adores the staff as they give him lots of pets, treats, and croon over the little traitor. Every time I have friends over they are in awe of the design of the complex and the amenities. The gym is great (!) and I wound up cancelling my gym membership because it truly meets my needs. I have put in a few maintenance requests (nothing major) and they always get to it the same day. Honestly, I have lived in several complexes in the area and Parc Meridian is my absolute favorite...by a lot. read more

I love living at the Parc Meridian. The community is made up of a diverse group of friendly and polite neighbors who enjoy the plethora of amenities that the building has to offer. The leasing and maintenance staff are top notch. The apartments are well designed and incredibly quiet, which is very important in a home. Living here is a dream! Now to address the negative review about the concierge... I did not witness this so I cannot speak to their exact experience, but I have never had a negative encounter with any of our concierges, and I have lived here for 8 months. They are so professional, polite, dedicated and kind. They offer my dogs treats when return from a walk. They know my children by name and offer them candy. They help me with my mail, my dry cleaning, with getting visitors upstairs, protecting the resident's safety, etc. During the day there are often a handful of children playing in the lobby, in addition to small business meetings taking place, people gathering for conversations. We are a diverse community of all ages and races, and my personal experience has been that everyone is treated equally. Do not let a review from someone who does not live here, and who has only ever posted one review and has no friends (strange) sway you on the Parc Meridian. Come see for yourself!! read more

I happen to appreciate the professionalism of our Concierge's in our library style lobby. They're always looking out for the building's residents as well as maintaining a safe, peaceful environment. The 5 star rating really goes out to the front desk crew, specifically Heather, and the maintenance team. Without them, the building would not function. They are personable and provide the best customer service. The building was extremely safe. No one was getting up to the apartments without an invite and the front desk allowing the elevator to go up. With the onset of COVID, all deliveries and visits were halted. For safety, deliveries were placed on a cart downstairs. Heather made sure that the tenants who were unable to physically retrieve packages received a safe personal delivery by her or a front desk employee. The tenants are all friendly. The building: amenities are great. All of the apartments gave the laminate / wood flooring. Only the bedroom has carpet. That is great for allergy sufferers. Large closets. During Covid we were able to find out the elevator rides down take longer during dog walking hours with limiting 2 people per elevator. Hand sanitizer is accessible everywhere. Sadly, you can hear the noise from the highway if you are in that side of building. I could never get my apartment cool, even in the winter. The heat from the other apartments or outside kept the apartment at 72 no matter what I did. But my electric bill was great . They have Nest thermostats. Great community events. Easy access to the metro. Hopefully they have a lease special when you decide to move in. read more

If you want an over priced hotel like environment in the ugliest part of Alexandria, then live here. Traffic surrounds the building and garage entrance/exit from about 3pm til 7pm every weekday, so good luck getting into and out of the garage! Multiple cars were broken into during my time there. They say they are 'dog-friendly' but really that means that they are happy to take a non-refundable deposit and dog rent, but your dog better not ever bark or you will be threatened with eviction by the assistant property manager who will make false recordings and false accusations of your dog barking to harass you. To top it all off the same assistant property manager loudly knocked on my apartment door on the first night of Passover to hand me my Lease Renewal Offer, rather than putting the offer under my door or in my mailbox. That was completely uncalled for! Whether or not she intended to disrupt Passover, and/or to try to set off my dog, either way, she has serious issues. I couldn't wait to get out of that building. I have been a happy tenant for almost 3 years. When I sold my home I wanted something upscale, convenient, comfortable and with interesting amenities. After a fair amount of shopping, Parc Meridian was the clear choice! My Maltese pooch is appreciative of the dog-friendly environment as well. With the Covid19 epidemic, Parc Meridian isn't willing to help their residents when it comes to anyone losing work hours, employment or maybe even getting Covid19. All they want is their rent regardless. Their letter to the residents said we won't apply a late payment but nothing about working out a payment plan for April. It looks like they might sit down and work out something with you in May. They said to me can't you get the money from someone else, get a loan or use your emergency money. I said use the deposit that I'm supposed to get back for April rent and I'll work out something in May of I need to. Lease ends in June. I think they think I'm going to run out. I positively can say no tenant is trying to run out on them. No one wants to mess up their credit. They are helpful and smiling while getting money but if there is a problem due to an epidemic, they aren't trying to help the tenant. Oh they said, if we get someone to rent it, you don't have to pay for the remaining months. The problem is now. With this epidemic, no one is trying to rent an apartment. Everyone is trying to just keep a roof over their head, food and shelter. Why do they think good Governors like Cuomo are looking out for his citizens with no rent or mortgage. I would never recommend anyone to rent an apartment with Parc Meridian. They also don't tell people looking for apartments that cars were vandalized in our building twice. They stole all four tires on two separate cars. The garage doors consistently aren't working and can't go down. They then hire sub-standard security guards who don't even carry a weapon and then when you leave early in the morning, you find the guard not paying attention and being argumentative with tenates. This is how they look out for tenants in an epidemic! They dont! read more

My husband and I looked at every apartment building in Alexandria and this was by far, the nicest one. We were in the process of selling our 5,000+ square foot home and looking to downsize since our son had left for college. We chose this location, this property. It's gorgeous. We have found the staff and concierge to be fantastic. They are so friendly, willing to help you and make sure your needs are well taken care of - as fast as possible. We have enjoyed our interaction with them. They know you by name and are always willing to help. The building is well insulated. I don't hear traffic noise of anyone in other apartments. I like that. Now for the cons: #1 - No place is perfect. We understand this. However, the biggest and single most disappointing thing about living here is the guest parking situation. There is nowhere for a guest to park unless they find a meter nearby for two hours - or you secure a $10.00 pass from the office, which can be for one hour or 24 hours and it depends on availability and costs $10.00 no matter how long they park! I am not sure what you would do if the office is closed and you can't pay for a $10 pass. Due to the proximity to the Metro, all spaces around the building are metered. The meter is a two hour meter going until 9:00pm, with a two hour limit and then you have to move - and these meters extend through Saturdays. Two hours is not enough time for a guest having dinner or visiting for the afternoon. Plus there are not very many of them. It's upsetting. I find myself watching the clock to make sure they don't over stay the meter. Then they have to run down and move their car, hoping there is another street space nearby. This is embarrassing. The meters are enforced by City of Alexandria. I doubt the Parc Meridien has anything to say or do about them, but honestly a 9:00pm end time and Saturdays is very unreasonable. And while I do not mind paying my guests meter, it's hard to have a guest or my elderly 90-year old dad visit me without parking angst. This problem is exacerbated by the constant signage in the elevators, in the lobby and the emails that come telling us of the parking policy, the fact that they will tow your car without notice in big bold letters if you do not follow the parking rules. I find this very offensive. I think we are all adults here and get the message. It bothers me quite a bit. Now, we do not have guests visit us here in our new home now. This is sad and very upsetting. I think the building could do more to ensure guest / visitor passes for people who live here. To me, it seems like all they care about is enforcing the harsh parking restrictions and towing cars without notice. That's the message they send out. #2 - there are not enough gas grills for the use of this entire apartment building. It's very nice that they offer them at all, but four grills for a building of this size is ridiculous. We have tried to use the grills, but there are always waits and long lines so we gave up. We don't grill out now. All in all, it's great place to live if you can overlook the parking debacle. We like the close proximity to Old Town - and walk regularly all over. It's been a good move for us save the parking problem. read more

Special mention of Diana and Heather for being amazing at the front desk, as are the two gentlemen who also have worked the front desk for a number of years now. If anyone is complaining about an individual not being at the front desk, it is because they are performing their other obligations within the building - all relating to our security. The service, the maintenance and friendliness in this building is above and beyond. For anyone stating they are dissatisfied with staff performance at our building, good luck finding any other location that can come close to being as good as it is here. I looked at almost a dozen apartment complexes before settling on the Parc Meridian. I have lived here for about two months and a few things in particular have stood out to me. 1. The atmosphere - the property staff periodically hosts events for the residents. We recently had a "rooftop happy hour", where the staff provided a variety of food and beverages, and also mingled with the tenants. I was surprised at the number of residents who attended, and it seemed to be a microcosm of the rest of the building - a family-friendly environment where people (residents and staff) genuinely seem to appreciate one another, or at the very least are respectful. 2. The cleanliness - I have not seen stray trash at all in my time at the property. I'm not sure if this is due to the property management company staying on top of things, the residents taking ownership of the building, or a combination of both. Either way, it's a beautiful building in many respects. 3. The price - As Dan D.'s post mentioned, the rental prices are competitive. Parking can be expensive, but there is plenty of space in the (secure) garage. The garage also has just been upgraded with designated electric vehicle spaces and charging stations. I do not have an electric car, not sure if that's your cup of tea. 4. Responsiveness of staff - I cannot recall any email responses from the staff to my few messages taking longer than 24 hours. I had a couple minor maintenance issues (e.g., a drawer missing a wheel, a door handle not secured properly), but I filled out maintenance request forms, and it was resolved in a day or two. 5. Common areas - The common areas are fantastic. The outdoor grill and lounge areas on the first floor, the rooftop pool (a little small, but still fun), and the top floor party center are all top-of-the line. I was most impressed with the fitness center though. Besides the typical treadmills and dumbbells, the property has a large yoga room as well as a cycling room with a tv that comes pre-programmed with a variety of free fitness videos (e.g., P90X, Insanity). I have never pursued this, but I'm under the impression that the staff will help you upload your own videos to the system if you want. Generally-speaking, the entire property is pretty high-tech from the fitness center to the individual rooms with the temperature control systems. It's no secret that I think highly of the property. Outside of the few minor drawbacks (for me, it's the price of parking), the Parc Meridian is tough to beat. The combination of the staff, other residents, and newness of the building was much better than any other property I visited. read more

I lived here about 8 months ago and to this date, Parc Meridian is the best apartment I've ever lived in. If any apartment complex deserves 5 stars, it's the Parc. I was so lucky to be able to live at the Parc Meridian! I moved there after I graduated college and needed a place to live very QUICKLY. The staff was so accommodating and helpful during the application and move in process. Everyone who lived in the building was nice and friendly. I could rave forever about all the amenities. The gym was amazing and the rooftop was breathtaking. I had friends over often and having an extra space to hangout or have meetings was so convenient. In addition, the location is perfect. Being next to the metro was a lifesaver and being a walk or uber ride away from the center of Old Town is perfect for people who like to be in the center of things but not bothered by all the noise. Unfortunately, due to my career, I had to relocate to another state and couldn't renew my lease. Every apartment I've looked at since just doesn't compare. The only complaint I would make is that it is a little pricy, especially if you're recently graduated and struggling. However, with the location, the amenities, the beautiful apartments, and the garage parking, it was worth what they were asking for. I would 100% recommend this to anyone in the DMV area! read more

I love living here and this is my second year. The staff is amazing, especially Zevar. The location is convenient to everything and you don't even need a car. I've read some of the bad reviews complaining about race problems and I would have to completely disagree as a black woman. All the staff has been and is very respectful and nice to me. I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone of any race. If you're Interested in living here, come and judge for yourself. I would not recommend living here and have decided against living here myself. I was visiting a friend that currently lives in the building. I was with a group of 4 women of color, when our group was harassed by the concierge and a staff member for being in the lobby and having noise/music coming from our iPhones. Specifically, while in the lobby and accompanied by the resident, the concierge and a member of the staff hounded us down and stated that we were too loud and that the lobby is a library, so we could not be there. However, no resident filed a noise complaint, no resident verbally complained of the noise, and the residents that were present in the lobby next to our group stated that we were not loud nor bothering them. In fact, when a resident that was present made a comment to the concierge that we were not loud nor bothering him, the concierge immediately then shushed him. The same resident then came to our group and stated that we were not bothering him nor were we being "loud," as proclaimed by the concierge. Although we did not agree with how the concierge treated us, in order to maintain the peace and not aggravate the incident, we decided to leave the lobby. We then moved to the club room to "not disturb those in the lobby that is used as a library," as described by the concierge. In less than 15 minutes, the concierge and another member of the staff followed us there and said that we were too loud in the club room, noise/music is not allowed in the club room, and that we were in violation of the guest number requirement for use of the club room. The signage posted on the door to the club room was explicitly and expressly different than what the staff member told us. In fact, we were in compliance with what was stated in the sign posted on the door, yet the staff member said the policy was different than what was on the door and outlined in the resident's signed lease agreement. After being blatantly lied to and discriminated against, we proceeded to leave the building. The Parc Meridian at Einsenhower made it very clear that my group was not welcome, despite abiding by the policies and rules in place at the establishment. Therefore, I will not patronize this company. For these reasons, I do not recommend living here and have decided to not live here. read more

Good luck getting a nice apartment here. It seems the staff will waste your time saying an apartment is available and then just take it for themselves. Toured this place and it seemed like a contender. I liked the complex, but there was not a floor plan available that would suit my family's needs at the time that I toured. So I had to wait for something to become available if I wanted to live there. I checked the availability for about a month and I nearly decided to go with another complex, but a new floor plan became available at Parc Meridian so I called ahead to inquire. They told me it was available to tour and I arrived to view it not 10 minutes later. When I arrived, a woman walks me to the apartment and on the way to the room she tells me "sorry", but SHE and her partner are applying for the apartment that she is about to show me. Then she proceeds to brag about how gorgeous the apartment is. The apartment that she doesn't want me to apply for because she's applying for it. She then tells me that she'll give me a call if they decide not to take it. The conversation ended with a "sorry about that". The room was not nearly impressive as the other apartment I was considering. I found it extremely rude that she would tell me that the apartment wasn't available after I specifically called ahead (just 10 minutes earlier) and was told it was available. To top it off the person who is supposed to be helping me find an apartment with them, is the person TAKING the opportunity from me. I found it to be very unprofessional and immediately walked 10 minutes up the road to the other complex I was considering. Was met with nothing but professionalism. They helped me find a BEAUTIFUL apartment that puts the one I toured at Parc Meridian to shame. I don't write reviews often, but just don't want anyone else to waste their time. I did not get the "we put the client first" vibe here at all. If you happen to encounter a similar situation, just know that there are better options very close by. read more

Parc Meridian is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The leasing staff is always willing to answer your questions - Anahita, Justine, Laura, and Zevar are great. The front desk staff are super helpful as well - Arshia, Diane, Heather, and Wayne are always genial and helpful! Maintenance staff are very responsive - the maintenance requests I have submitted have usually been addressed in 24 hours. The complex is also very dog friendly - they have treats for your furry friends as well as a pet spa. (With that said, I wish they allowed dogs in the patio area downstairs - grilling while hanging out with your best human and dog friends would be great.) The apartment themselves are great - especially the kitchens. The location is pretty good too - close to a metro stop, a Whole Foods, a dog park. It's perfect for an NSF or USPTO employee. read more

Overall the property is beautiful but the behavior I witnessed of a group of guest being treated was sickening. I hope it was not a race issue, sadly. I think Parc Meridian needs to train it's employees how to treat every gender, race and age with respect and of course dignity. There were other employees who notice an incident and chose not to get involve or to attempt to resolve. I was a guest and didn't feel I had the authority to step-in but for on looking employees ---running away is never an option. I personally didn't fee that the group caused any problems but hey what do I know? I was only a guest there. Truly disappointed. read more

I have thoroughly been impressed with every aspect of living here since moving in. First, the location of the property is next to the on off ramp of a major highway. I never have to drive anywhere because the metro is across the street. There is a movie theater and wide selection of restaurants within walking distance. Secondly, the property and the landscaping are very meticulously maintained. The amenities such as the business center, the rooftop pool, and patio, and upstairs clubroom are of the highest quality and extremely aesthetically pleasing. It's clear that very high end finishing materials were used during construction. Last year, I hosted a small gathering for my business partners in the clubroom and each of them were very impressed and STILL talk about it to this day. Thirdly, the staff, leasing and management teams are top notch. They work very hard every day to ensure the best experience for us. I am compeltely shocked to have read an eariler review of a visitor who felt discriminated against because of color. As a black man, I'm particularly sensitive to racial discrimination. I've been a resident since last summer and I have never been mistreated, looked down upon, or spoken to rudely. Quite the opposite is the case. The entire management team truly works hard to make all residents feel welcome. I'm confident the entire incident was merely a misunderstanding. For example, as mentoined, I hosted a small gathering for my business partners. I'm certain there is some posted signage in the club room regarding maximum occupancy to comply with fire safely laws. But that has nothing to do with th number of guests a resident can entertain without officially reserving the room. To be considerate of other residents, we are all requested to reserve the club room in advance if the intention is to entertain more than a couple of guests. This way, other residents (and prospective residents being toured) will know not to enter. The Parc is a diverse an inclusive community. I thoroughly enjoy the phenomenal treatment here and am happy to call this place my home. read more
