Really bad food! Order calentado and the rice was watering, the chicharon was dry and hard and the beans was not good

Never disappoints! I'm Colombian and the food here is authentic and traditional. Tastes just like my abuelitas and takes me back to my childhood! Service is consistently courteous and efficient and we're never left missing anything. It's a family run business and the ambience represents just that! We love coming here and there are other Colombian establishments to patronize within the area, but we prefer it here and highly recommend!

We ordered the bistec( sirloin steak that came with rice and beans, salad and sautéed onions), salmon came with roasted potatoes and salad and the pork chop. All delicious. Asked the very attentive waitress if there were any happy hour specials and the Wednesday special is mojitos for $8.95 for any flavor. We ordered the passion fruit and coconut flavors.

It was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon (Father's Day), but the service was still solid. We ordered the Papitas del Campo, the Bandeja Matiz, and the Lomo Saltado to share. Everything came out flavorful. Their house hot sauce? Insanely spicy in a good way, but definitely not for the faint of heart. The Bandeja Matiz was generous and filling. The steak in the Colombian breakfast was on the salty side, and the sausage was a bit too crispy for my taste, but otherwise, the food hit the spot. Would definitely come back to try more off the menu!

However, they did seat me right under the AC and it was dripping right on me so I wasn't too happy for that but it was a full house. Everything always comes out sizzling fresh and portions are huge so you can actually consider sharing with one other if you don't have a huge appetite. I think I had the Casuela de mariscos which is so so rich in flavour and soup. Loved this dish so much and having steak on top of that? Amazing!! Service was great - our server was attentive and got us everything we needed. Sometimes the other servers don't pay much attention to you but maybe that's just the vibe here. Would still return for the food bc it's one of the best!

Their locations are not fancy and are the Colombian equivalent of American diners. This means a big menu with a bakery section too. While there are better Colombian places out there, I found this place to be decent. For example, the portion size of their Bandeja Paisa was huge and everything tasted fresh. The pastries (bunuelos and pan de bono) were also good quality and fresh. If you're looking for a Colombian place to take the family that serves everything, Noches de Colombia fits the bill.

We were given an iPad each (to view the menu). When we asked for water they did not provide tapwater even though we asked for it and gave us a bottled water instead (that we had to pay for). After ordering the food it took approximately 30 minutes to arrive. The service was pretty slow. I ordered the carne asada with a side of frijoles since it only comes with white rice, sweet plantains and a potato. The meat itself was really hard to eat. It was very chewy and rough, not a good representation of Carne Asada. The white rice was just plain white rice. The potato had no seasoning on it, and the sweet plantains were super dry, which made them nasty and I couldn't even eat them. The beans had very little flavor or depth compared to other Colombian restaurants. There was no smoky or meat like savoriness, and it only had a very minimal hint of the usual aromatics. It also had a bit of a canned bean hint to it. Not very pleasant. Compared to other Colombian places I've had I would not come back to this place.
