The service is always great here and great portions. I always leave here stuffed! The decor is nothing special but it's still a great neighborhood spot. The tostones and Guac are sooooo goood !!! Their drinks are also good ! This is a go to spot for me. I usually get the Bandeja Tipica. The steak is ok but the plantain and chicharron make up for it.

Alert!!!! Pollo Mario Woodhaven We are regulars and just really caught off guard today 05/25/2025 They automatically add 10% tips on your bill. So please review when you sign your check when you pay by card. I normally tip 18-20% so when you sign the check with tip line you might be giving them 30% tip without your knowledge because they do not mention the already added 10% tips. My guy usually pay and don't pay attention but today my folks treated us for lunch and I was checking the bill for my 77 yo mom. Pay attention!!! Including a picture so you see for yourself. Be aware...

Went with large group for a birthday dinner. Portions are really big here. Most platters come with rice and beans and a salad. Extensive variety of dishes, not just chicken! Staff was very busy, but helpful.

Came here with my family after a gym workout. I was in the mood for Colombian food. The food was actually very delicious. We ordered guacamole and tostones as an appetizer and I ordered their sancocho de gallina (hen soup) that came with a side of rice, salad and baked chicken (I didn't want hen). The soup wasn't that hot but I was so hungry that I ate it anyways. The reason for the low stars is due to the wait time for the food; we waited almost an hour for the food which is kind of absurd in a Colombian restaurant and it was not that busy at the time. The hostess was also kind of rude so points are taken out for that as well. I would return for the food but not necessarily for the service.

We were out in queens and got hungry, saw this place and decided to try it, i I liked the way it looked and inside was also very nice, it was clean ,and the service was friendly, the food was ok, had better, but definitely had worse, what I really didn't like is the fact that they charge a 4% service charge when paying with a credit card, I'm trying to face out restaurants that do this, I didn't mind helping out during the pandemic, but I think enough is enough. They're only hurting their employees, I have spoken to a few people who have told me that they take part, if not all of the service charge from the waiters tip. I don't think that that is fair to them either

Great food! I visited this place more than a few times. However, this time we thought the food was even better than before. Friendly service and festive ambiance are very inviting. The tropical cocktail, passion fruit mojito, is not cheap, but it is worth it. The steak was perfectly cooked. Adding a half chicken for the table is always a great option. The chicken is yummy. All neighboring patrons are friendly and very festive. The restaurant offers a vast menu. The menu shows the picture. So, non-Hispanic people like me can make decisions quickly.

This is one of my dad favorite restaurants so whenever is his choice to pick a place we end up here. The food is really good and so is the service. I have tried many things from their breakfast and dinner menu. Everything is great but the main reason we come here is for the mojarra frita. This is my dads favorite dish and not many Colombian restaurants offer it. My only negative is that they don't take reservations. We are a family of 12 so we always have to wait 1-2 hours to be sited which isn't much fun.

Not sure if we just picked a good time but we had fast and friendly service! Food was delicious! We came for lunch on the day before Halloween and all the staff were dressed up in costumes and made the place so much fun !

Food yum as always. I like coming here every 3 months. Hits the spot. We had steak and fried snapper they have heated huts now during the pandemic. Food is pricey but worth it. Steak $28 Fried fish $24 Sangria Jug (small) -$25 Tip $20 That's for two people (me and a princess. my wife) I will definitely go again.

Food was good, the skirt steak was good the chimchrry sauce was blan I really enjoyed the side salad with French dressing. The service was a little slow in my opinion but I understand it was busy that night when I went. Rice and beans had a great taste to it really enjoyed it. The place is really nice inside, the only thing I didn't like was when it was someone's birthday they were singing loud an playing their instruments extremely loud it made me shake a couple of times when I was there. All an all it was a nice place for a good dinner.

Rico! This is one of my go to Colombian places. I like the atmosphere the soups are good and the service is decent.

Churrasco, seco/muy grueso. Muy caro. Dry meat/too thick and too dry meat, too expensive for the quality

It was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon (Father's Day), but the service was still solid. We ordered the Papitas del Campo, the Bandeja Matiz, and the Lomo Saltado to share. Everything came out flavorful. Their house hot sauce? Insanely spicy in a good way, but definitely not for the faint of heart. The Bandeja Matiz was generous and filling. The steak in the Colombian breakfast was on the salty side, and the sausage was a bit too crispy for my taste, but otherwise, the food hit the spot. Would definitely come back to try more off the menu!

Very good soup, we ask for a small as we had no idea what to expect. The bandeja tipica is $21. For the price you get rice and beans with avocado, a fried egg, longaniza, thinly pounded steak, a piece of sweet plantain and chicharron. We asked for some of the home made hot sauce and we got a some slightly picant vinaigrette that had cilantro and onions, very good bit no spice for my taste buds. But the chicharron and frijoles were great. The jugo de guanabana was delicious. Empanada was good too, though I would've liked a bit more of a flavor kick. Colombian arepas (or at least the ones here) come with a sweet, corn tortilla and are more open faced: to be eaten with a fork. In the past, I've had flour tortillas that are designed more like a taco and eaten as a handheld. So despite the differences, I (and my friends) enjoyed our meal. Let the official record state, I ordered the arepas con queso with chorizo. We had plans to eat our way through Jackson Heights, but because a couple of the places we planned to visit were closed, we actually just mostly hung out here and enjoyed our arepas of the sweet and open-faced variety. It was a good afternoon.

Before this, if someone mentioned arepas, I probably would have confused them with pupusas, which I'd only seen at street fairs and thought of as more of a sweet item. I had no idea they came in savory versions too. I went with the carne asada arepa, and the beef was fresh, juicy, and cooked just right. It's so common for places to overcook little chunks of beef, but here it was perfect. Each arepa is big enough to split between two people, so the price feels very fair. The filling was generous, with beef packed inside and even overflowing out the sides. They also serve the arepas with a rack of five or six sauces to choose from. Some were spicy, and one had a sweet condensed milk flavor if you like a mix of sweet and savory. My go to ended up being this green mayonnaise sauce which I assumed was like some sort of a lime mayo, which added the perfect tartiness to the rich cheese filling.
