I have been working with Kerry Ann Sullivan and her team at the Venice Halton Pardee location for several months. I enlisted them to sell my home of 22 years in Santa Monica. Concurrently, I got into escrow on a new construction home here in Venice. What initially seemed like a very straight forward transaction unfolded into a very complex time consuming deal that I honestly don't think any other real estate team could have handled or kept together the way this group did. From the very beginning they understood the special nature of the deal. As the fortunate owner of a property in Santa Monica for 22 years the appreciation of the property was sizable and I was motivated to exercise my right to CA Prop 60. This is the ability to carry forward your property tax basis when selling a home for more or equal value to the new purchase. I listed my home as the market was red hot and got into escrow very quickly on the new property. It was a contingency sale allowing me to hold onto the new property until I sold my house. Kerry Ann finessed this for me with the developer of the new home. Additionally, while the home in Ocean Park was lovely there were some major roadblocks along the way in getting it sold and finding the right buyer. Kerry Ann's crackerjack team consists of Stormie Leoni and Eric Agar and their expertise was undeniably some of the most professional and upbeat I've ever encountered. These folks not only know what they are doing they truly love what they do. Extreme professionalism the whole way through. There was nothing I asked them to do that they hadn't already anticipated. From start to finish they were there for me. My Optometry office is literally 4 doors away from their office and I popped in endlessly with questions and ideas. Never once did they make me feel as if my unannounced appearances were rude or inappropriate. All smiles and offers to help with anything I requested every dang time.
