I still remember the very first time I tasted Charley's. I was fresh out of basic training in Fort Jackson SC and the sweet amazing yet explosive taste of Charley's Philly Cheese steaks. Gush, It is then when I became a fan. Chilly Cheese Steaks, soft bread, cheese/no cheese, beef, chicken, mixed, salads, fries, loaded fries, oh my oh my!!! I love Charley's fries because of the seasoning and availability to add vinegar. I also add vinegar to my philly cheese steaks Anyway, my experience at this location was for the most part positive. There were people 6 in-front of me, within 3 minutes I was already placing my order. Within an additional 4 minutes my Philly cheese steak was done, then I got my fries. It is then when I ran into a hiccup of unhappiness... I requested seasoning and vinegar and they had NONE!!! Buu!!! Charley's "Philly" cheesesteak may not be an authentic Philly cheesesteak, but it's a very good sandwich in itself and an alternative where there's no Philly cheesesteaks around. Their loaded fries are also good though I normally avoid them for their excessively abundant calories. Once in a while for some special occasions, I might splurge and enjoy their goodness. Those occasions are far in between these days. The green chili burger had a slight spice but not hot, just flavorful. I ordered the smash burger and the amount of meat on that burger was astounding. While the store front itself is a bit bare and could use some sprucing up to make it more fun or stand out, it was by far the cleanest restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. This place is wiped down after every guest very well (not just a quick wipe down but very clean) even the bathroom was extremely clean. Over all great food, quick service, clean place to eat.
