Experience: I ordered off door dash on a Tuesday night around 8:30pm…read more Service: the food was hot and fresh. The items were packed well. However they didn't out any condiments or utensils or napkins in the bag. I am just moving in so I needed those items. Food: I ordered the following... Wings with medium buffalo sauce - they were ok. Nothing special. Short on sauce. They also didn't add any ranch or blue cheese. Would not order again. 2/5 Philly cheese steak eggroll- these were fire!!! This is the main reason I am giving them a 3 and not less. This is also the reason I would return to this place. It comes with 3 eggrolls that were crispy and a little chewy too, which I loved. They were packed with meat and came with firecracker sauce on the side. So good!!! 5/5 Broccoli bites - these were hot and fresh, which I appreciate, but I asked for ranch on the side and they sent firecracker sauce. Not a fan of the sauce, so maybe I would have enjoyed these better if they had ranch. 3/5 Kids mini hit dog platter - this was a good serving of fries and mini hot dogs that my kiddo loved. Just wish they would have given us ketchup or mustard or something. 4/5 Carrot cake cheesecake - sooo good!! It is exactly what it sounds like, a lay of cheesecake, and layers of carrot cake. It's was a great combination and a new favorite dessert for me. 5/5 Overall: I really liked a few things and some were a miss. The part that ruined our dinner is being new here and not having a stocked kitchen yet. Then they didn't send condiments or getting the requested ones wrong. I will try again, but I will go in person. Plus I NEED more of those eggrolls in my life

This place is great. We have been there a few times and always consistently good food. Solid Philly…read moretoo. Their cheesesteaks, fantastic. The meat is great, perfect flavor and texture. The bread has to be made there. It is perfect for the cheesesteak. They have options for cheese, but I go with the traditional cheese wiz sauce. Nailed the meat/cheese balance. I keep meaning to try the pizza, but the cheesesteaks are so good. And they are nice size, so the food to price ratio is good. OMG, the onion rings are some of the best we've had. I love them. Next time we try something new! Go here. You won't be disappointed. And the lady up front is friendly and welcoming. Excellent all around.

Went to Mash Hogies the other day. I got a roast beef sub. The meat was so thick, I've never seen…read morethat much meat on a sub. And it was delicious. Best sub I've had in awhile. The service was good, 2 people working and they weren't slacking. It seating was good, plenty of room. Handicapped accessible. Plenty of parking. I thought the price was a little high, but when I saw my sub it was well worth it. Highly recommend.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Out of all the sub and hoagie restaurants located within southern Brevard County, specifically Palm Bay, Malabar, and Bayside Lakes, the one location that is both historic and iconic is Mash Hoagies (which I will shorthand simply to Mash for the remainder of this review). Mash has been in the same location for literal decades in the Palm Bay West just north of Winn Dixie (soon to be Aldi) and Little Ceasar's. First and foremost, Mash isn't the most visually-appealing place to eat. The dining room setup and colors are definitely out of the 70s, the time when the show the restaurant is based on, M*A*S*H*, came out. The walls right above each both showcases handdrawn charicaures of the actors in character. The cleanliness of the restaurant is up-to-par but more on the lines of better than fast food but just as good as fast casual. What makes Mash one of the best places to get your hoagies are three things: the family friendliness, the better-than-fair prices, and the overall deliciousness of the food. As an example, I will describe one of my orders with them, the "Italian Special" known as the Hawkeye. Named after the character, Hawkeye Pierce, played by Alan Alda and Donald Sutherland, the footlong sandwich consists of ham, capicola, salami, and provolone. You can load any sandwich to the brim with basic ingredients with premium ingredients costing a little bit more. But for $12 for a homemade behometh of a sandwich that is sure to feed a regular person three meals a day, it is a delicous steal. Add on top that the staff is friendly and sometimes will have a nice conversation with you while they make your sandwich. As mentioned earlier, Mash is homegrown with multiple decades serving the community. They have developed a family feel that has kept them more than alive and kicking through the highest highs like when Palm Bay West was the "it strip mall" for Palm Bay (because it was the only major strip mall in Palm Bay) to downward slumps like the (illegal?) pandemic. My suggestion is Carissa. She is very kind and she's been the one to make my sandwich almost every single time I have been there since I started Yelp (Eliting!). I must stress that overall, Mash does not have "the best" particular sandwich I can think of off the top of my head, but they are more than satisfactory and acceptable. For example, I can name a couple of Cuban restaurants that do better Cuban sandwiches than Mash (Hemingway's Tavern and El Ambia for example), but you can't go wrong if you want a Cuban from them either for convenience, price, etc. Given the many times I have been here pre-Yelp as well during my Yelp career, I am going to give Mash a five-out-five star rating. They've always been delicious with good food, good prices, and good service. As for restaurants within Palm Bay West, you can't go any better.

This place is a joke. First off if you've ever been to any other and I mean any other steak place…read morein or around Philly then you'll understand this review. The rolls are basically under cooked raw french bread. It's comical. I rarely leave reviews but I couldn't stand it anymore. Called Saturday night at 8:43pm for delivery and the girl said we don't do that anymore and we close in 10 minutes haha. You mean 17 minutes? That and every time I pull in the lot the entire crew is outside smoking something. I could careless what they are smoking but this place sucks and you wonder why they are hiring every week. Just add it to another wanna be Philly Steak Shop in Florida but missed the mark. Sorry I'll never eat there again. FYI that's what a real Philly steak sandwich looks like. Notice the roll LOL. It's effing cooked.

Great Philly cheesesteak - nice restaurant, hard to get to…read moreThis is located at the corner of A1A and Eau Gallie. It is on the northwest corner close to the light and so you can only get to it if you are travelling West on Eau Gallie from the light or south on A1A. There is a median that prevents you from turning in off Eau Gallie travelling East. That is all to say that it can be hard to get to if you are travelling in other directions on these roads. There is a parking lot next to the restaurant with plenty of parking. There is a seating area outside and inside the establishment. Outside are about 15 tables with some umbrellas and a fenced off area to separate it from the parking lot. Inside are about 4 booths, 2 tall tables and seats against the wall. You order at the counter to the left of the main doors as you enter. They have everything from Wings to Philly Cheese Steaks and sides to desserts. They do not have fountain drinks but have a large variety of drinks in their coolers. We ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, hotdog, and sweet potato fries. The food took about 10 minutes. The Philly and fries were excellent, the hotdog tasted good but I was not a fan of the bun. You have to ask for condiments and utensils if you want them. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. I would definitely recommend this to fellow travelers. Enjoy!
