Have been passing by this place for years and we finally stopped in. Well worth the stop!…read more We were greeted and seated immediately. Fast and friendly. The menu isn't huge (it's a pizza place) but interesting none the less. We started with meatball Mac n cheese and I loved it. Very cheesy with a homemade huge meatball. We also tried the cheese bread balls and they were also very good. And very hot. Our server recommended the double pepperoni pizza and it was a great call. Overall good experience, food and fast service. Plus, the place had a funky decor and family atmosphere.

We eavesdropped on another couple several visits back and copied their order which has become our favorite: 6 pepper pizza and we add pepperoni. We've had the meatballs here too which were great. Consistently solid offerings though we wish they'd use real butter on their knots....its a bit of a weird margarine-type spread. Decent service, and such a cool, historic location (former bank building) that CAN get noisy inside but we have even eaten at the "communal" tables inside when they were busy and STILL had a very pleasant meal. EXCEPTIONALLY clean bathrooms with GREAT cinematic photos involving pizza and hot, hot water and good soap....that goes a long way with me. This is where we go for a "special" pizza night because you will pay more but the atmosphere is well worth it.

Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza in Melbourne absolutely lives up to the name. I met a friend here and…read morethey had already grabbed a table on the patio, so I didn't get a chance to see the inside, but the food alone made a huge impression. The pizza was phenomenal. The crust had the perfect bite--crispy with just the right chew. The cheese was melted perfectly, the sauce was flavorful, and every bite was delicious. I live about 40 minutes away and I'm already planning when I can go back. They also have infused olive oils you can drizzle over your pizza, which took it to another level. Chef's kiss. I also ordered the Caprese salad, and it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It came with a seasoned flatbread that reminded me of naan, and it was honestly addictive. I kept reaching for more because it was that good. Part of me doesn't even want to share this review because I'd love to keep this place a secret, but food this good deserves the praise. If I lived closer, I'd probably eat here every week. Absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying.

We started with a plate of garlic knots with red sauce, which disappeared faster than we would have liked. My husband and I split a house salad, which was good but unremarkable. We ordered a smaller margherita pizza for our son and a larger Manhattan pizza with pears, arugula, and pepper dews for me and my husband. Both pizza were very good. Both the dough and tomato sauce at Genna are exceptional. The pear base on the Manhattan was a little sweet for my taste, though I eat a mostly sugar-free diet. The pears were balanced out by the spicy-sweet pepper dews, so I would get it again. Our son is a cannoli expert, as he has had homemade cannolis in over a dozen bakeries in New York and New Jersey. He likes the one at Genna best. My husband got a couple glasses of Merlot to go with our pizza, sand I was happy with their large selection of bottled IPAs.

We noticed it had new owners, reviews had been good, seemed like remodeling had been done. Place deserved a second chance. We were So Glad we went! Came in, first thing we noticed was the fresh hot loaves of bread cooling from the oven. My husband loves good fresh bread, So he was already sold. We did not sit in the main diningroom which has been redone, carpet & floors were all very clean. Now its a bright friendly atmosphere, we were greeted by the owner, welcomed to our dining experience. Our server was very pleasant and suggested the calamari to start. A very generous portion, tender rings, not overcooked & rubbery like we have had at other places. Wine was a good pour. Our salads that came with our entree were huge fresh & crisp, loved the house Italian dressing. Those bread loaves we first saw, We had 4 delicious hot bread sticks served to our table. So delicious we chose to order a second basket, which was not part of our order, but So worth the small up charge. I went with the eggplant parm, my husband the chicken parm, both came with a big portion of pasta with sauce. His chicken parm nearly took up the entire plate, My eggplant, 6 slices!! We got to go boxes, and had another dinner & a lunch as well! The desserts sounded amazing, but will have to wait till we come back & split a pizza. The ones we saw being delivered looked really good! As we were leaving the owner thanked us for coming and gave us coupons for our next visit. We ended up giving them to our neighbors and told them they should definately try them out. Great new addition to the area. Hope the new owners keep up the great work, we will definately return again.
