I am so happy that Parea exists! As a fan of Manoli's, I am thrilled that there is now a more casual version that still serves up high quality food. I have had the chicken gyro and the chicken salad. Both are delicious. The prices are upper/middle for fast casual, but acceptable, especially given the nice ambiance and superbly high quality of food. The service is also friendly-- they will answer any questions and are very patient when I bring folks who haven't been there before and have plenty of questions before ordering. I also love that they have a market area where you can buy take-and-bake items. The only thing I wish is that they would stay open for one more hour in the evenings, past 6pm, so that I can dine here on a more frequent basis on weekday nights (I typically don't get back into SLC til later!)!

So. Freaking. Good. I got the gyro plate which comes with a gyro with protein of your choice (I got falafel), fries, and a side salad. I ordered it online and was ready faster than the estimated time. The fries here are PERFECT. I'm actually not usually a potato wedge kinda gal but theirs are perfectly crispy and seasoned. The gyro pita is amazingggggg. Soft and fluffy and delicious. Sauces are good, I'm picky about falafel and theirs is delicious. You can sit down inside or they have a small outdoor patio that some people were enjoying. I'm excited to come back and try their tapas menu. Staff is suuuuuper friendly My only qualm is they're not open on Sundays, which is when I always have a hankering for them!

On my quest to find the perfect gyro you could describe this spot as a checkpoint, not quite the princess at the end. I got the gyro plate and was quite unimpressed with the dryness of it (drown me in tzat). The mushy potatoes really weren't my thing either and the salad had 2 bites of fame bedazzled with the only dressing they offer. The quick service however allowed me to continue my journey.

The place is kind of tucked in a way that it's better to park a little ways away and walk there. Very limited parking. Really delicious food, I could eat it anytime. The potato wedge things are sooo flavorful and crisp. They are also pretty filling. The gyro is absolutely loaded with fresh ingredients including all the classics you would expect. Plenty of feta, just enough olives, the base of the gyro is so fresh and fluffy. You can tell the chicken has been marinated and cooked to perfection. The staff I've interacted with have been nice and are good at their jobs. Fairly quiet area and a nice place to come for lunch or dinner. They have a big window/sliding door and I've been there when the weather is nice and it's open. The decor or Knick Knacks are fairly niche, like someone's personal collection. I love the small shop/handmade feeling. There is serve yourself water station(s) (at least one, but maybe 2) with cups nearby. I recommend this place to everyone!

Paréa is a cozy fast casual Greek restaurant serving some of the most delicious gyros, bowls and more! The atmosphere here is cute and cozy the service is excellent and the food is top notch! I have loved everything I've tried here especially the Parea bowl and gyros! They have a little market with ready made meals and snacks as well!

This place was absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried had authentic Greek flavors and felt freshly prepared. From the gyros to the sides, everything was very good. Definitely one of the best places for authentic Greek cuisine and a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Mediterranean taste!

Had a great experience at Parea! The cozy, homey vibe made it a perfect spot to eat and relax. I tried the grass-fed beef and lamb gyro, which was a great portion and packed with fresh flavors. The staff was super kind and even gave me a sample of their olive oil cake to try, which was moist, not too sweet, and a nice treat. Staffs very welcoming and mentioned they're expanding their dining area to outdoors; and are working on getting a beer and wine license. The place was busy, but still comfortable, and parking is available in the back (only a few spots) or on the street. Excited to come back and try more from their menu!

This restaurant is a cute, homemade type of feeling. The service was excellent and the food came out very quickly! The bowl with lamb meat was delicious. It comes with a sauce, rice and chickpeas. They also have a small market inside which has to go food and sides. Amazing!

Second time at Parea and I loved it just as much as the first time. The pita is so soft and delicious and I love the tzatziki. They also have these huge garage doors almost which is lovely when it's cool!

Delicious gyros! Ambiance: Super cute on the inside with spacious tables, a fridge full of premade items you can buy (yogurt, dips, meatballs, etc), and some premade seasoning to buy as well! Service: Order at the counter and they deliver it to you. Food: The menu is simple and clear cut with basically only two options - gyro or a salad with a couple of sides. We got the gyro plate that came with a Greek salad, potatoes, and ordered an extra side of pita. Super delicious from the fluffy pita to the flavorful meat. Everything was so good!! Will definitely be back.

We came for lunch, recommended by a friend. What a great friend! The name means "gathering of family and friends" said Susan, who seems very attentive and friendly. We ordered a both a Lamb gyro plate and Pork Plate, as well as a falafel salad. We ordered at the counter and sat on the comfortable wood chairs and they brought the food to us. The food was fresh, healthy and delicious. The salad dressing was very light, tasty, and I want the recipe. It probably is olive oil and lemon. They give you big portions. So generous. The ambiance is relaxed and warm. Nice music was playing, not too loud. We could still talk. Perfect. I'm recommending Parea to anyone who likes falafel, hummus, gyro, and salads.

Came here for lunch. Delicious gyro and great service from Susan. The pita bread was warm and puffy, perfect for my gyro, good dressing. Place is clean, you can try samples of their Greek spreads. Recommend and will be back.

What a great little neighborhood gem. Quaint place for med bowls and gyro sandwiches. Their chicken bowl is a 100% hit with me.

It's like dining in a sun-soaked courtyard by the sea. Yes, it's a little kitschy--but in the best way. It totally adds to the charm. I've been here a few times, and every visit's been a win. It has a true mom-and-pop vibe, the staff is always warm, and while things can slow down when it's busy, that just means everything's made fresh--and worth the wait. (I don't mind. I came to enjoy, not rush.) This round: We started with a crisp, fresh salad and their classic hummus with pita--simple, bright, and the perfect kickoff. I had the Koofteh Meatballs--jumbo Persian-style beef meatballs stuffed with apricots, simmered in a tangy tomato sauce and served with basmati rice. The meat? Tender. The sauce? A whole flavor moment. My other half went with the Bagala Polow, a slow-stewed lamb shank served on dill basmati rice with lima beans and a side of lamb au jus. That dill rice? Unexpected and so, so good. Bonus points for the community vibes: While we were dining, someone celebrated a birthday--and they shared their mango cake with the whole restaurant. Such a sweet surprise that shows the spirit of the place. Final thoughts: Decor - Slightly kitschy, totally charming. Like eating in a postcard. Food - Flavorful, fresh, and made with heart. Community - The kind of place that turns strangers into dinner party guests. Our go-to for Mediterranean eats--highly recommend!

We started with the fried cauliflower and zaatar fries, both served with an incredible dipping sauce that disappeared embarrassingly fast. The cauliflower was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, tender inside, and honestly good enough to order again on its own. For my meal, I ordered the shakshuka. It arrived bubbling hot in a cast iron skillet with rich tomato sauce, flavorful meatballs, perfectly baked eggs, and warm grilled pita for scooping up every last bite. I've had shakshuka before, and this was easily one of the best versions I've tasted. Every bite was comforting, hearty, and packed with flavor. Spud went with a Laziz salad alongside another helping of the roasted cauliflower, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Everything that came to the table looked thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and beautifully presented. What made the experience truly memorable, though, was our waitress, Omri. As a Deaf customer, it's always a pleasant surprise when someone can communicate directly in sign language. Omri signed with us, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided exceptional service from beginning to end. That personal connection meant a great deal to me, and it absolutely elevated an already wonderful meal. I was so impressed that I happily double-tipped her. Great food, warm hospitality, and an experience my son and I will both remember. We'll definitely be back.
