a plate of salad and pita bread

This is a crazy location for such a great cafe. After going through the TSA style bag exam to enter the court house, your stomach expects the standard warmed over gas station quality food. Thankfully the flashbacks of airport food gone wrong we're shattered. The highlight is the Chicken Souvlaki. That is simply fantastic. Thy serve it with good quality Pita and a single skewer is enough for a light lunch with the salad and rice they serve it with. I was aiming for a low carb meal so I asked for more salad in place of rice and they gladly accommodated me. If you're hungrier you'll definitely want the extra skewer. Cheap, delicious, and they gave me a free cookie because it was Friday. What more could you want?

You're at the right place. Walk into the big shiny building. This is a super clean and modern courthouse with a Greek gem on the bottom level. We were greeted with friendly service and recommendations of their most popular items. My friend and I both got the chicken souvlaki. I told them I don't like salad and they kindly subbed the salad for tomato basil soup which was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and not too dry and went well with the tzatziki sauce. It would have been nice to have hummus to go with the warm toasty pita bread. The space was open and cozy at the same time. We felt no pressure to leave in a hurry. Fun to look at what hearings were happening that day too!

Greek-xican burrito was delicious. Small portions on the marinaded pork. Adorable mom and son shop. A little hard to find.

Had a very filling breakfast of a gyro and spinach omelette. Great selection of hot sauces to go with it too ;). Will be back!

First off, the roasted beets might honestly be the best thing on the menu (which sounds ridiculous until you try them). They come with greens tossed in a dressing that is absolutely mouth-watering, I could eat a whole bowl of just the greens. Next was the mushroom toast, layered with the creamiest goat cheese spread that perfectly balances the earthy mushrooms. But the real showstopper was the pork belly. I've never had pork belly like this before. They serve it in these perfect little cubes and when you bite into one it literally bursts with flavor. It's paired with green apples, which might sound unexpected, but it's an incredible combination. If you've never had pork with green apples before, you're missing out, it's the perfect sweet, crisp contrast. We finished the night with beignets and an affogato. My affogato had butter pecan ice cream with a rich espresso poured over the top - simple and absolutely delicious. We were tended to by our server through out the night. 5 star service, 5 star food, and the restaurant was beautiful inside and out. Can't wait to sit out on the patio in the summer! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Parking is all street parking, and during peak dinner hours it can definitely be hit or miss. We ended up parking a bit farther away and walking over. Service was a little messy during our visit, but I could also tell the staff was trying their best. It seemed like there was only one person taking orders and handling the front, and she looked pretty flustered on a busy night. I also suspect the kitchen may have been understaffed. For appetizers, we ordered the ravioli and the baguette au gratin. Both were delicious. The ravioli was definitely my favorite of the night. It was super rich and heavy, so sharing it was the right move. The baguette itself tasted good, but the cheese on top was cold and had already solidified. It felt like it had been premade and quickly assembled before serving. For our mains, we ordered the duck breast and the beef bourguignon. This is where I really started feeling like the kitchen was struggling a bit. Both dishes came out surprisingly fast, but unfortunately the duck, mashed potatoes, and even the gravy were cold. Not just cooled down, but genuinely cold like they had been sitting out for a while and not kept under a warming lamp. The beef bourguignon was the warmest dish we received, though even that was only lukewarm. The frustrating part is that the flavors were actually really good. The food itself was delicious, but the temperature of almost every dish really took away from the experience.

It was the Monday during the holiday break after Christmas where no one is wanting to cook, so it seemed like everyone had the same idea of going out to eat. We had a party of 5 and waited at the bar for 15 minutes until our table was ready. Service was super friendly and wonderful. When we were seated, our server Sebastian was great. I forgot how much I love their garden burger patty and their garlic rosemary fries. They also have a spicy black bean option for the vegetarians/vegans. Obviously they have a ton of great options for the meat eaters primarily, I mean it's a burger bar how could they not. Needless to say, I won't be forgetting about this place ever again!
