Modern spin on Mediterranean food. They have gyros, salads, wraps, & rice or salad bowls. Very clearly labeled gluten free and vegan options. The server was very helpful with telling me what I could and couldn't eat. I ordered the Vegan Remix Bowl & some sweet potato fries (cooked in canola oil & cross contaminated with other fried dishes so keep that in mind for GF options). I enjoyed the flavor profiles & their unique sauces. The falafel had a bit of a sweet taste which was a first for me but not bad at all. The reason for the 3 stars is that when a different staff person, Hispanic, dropped off my food, I noticed the cabbage slaw had carrots in it, which I wasn't aware of. When I informed them, they were very rude and stormed off before I could even request for the cabbage slaw to be completely removed. When I finally got a hold of them, they had an attitude and claimed the slaw could not be removed, which was not true. So happy we found this place when we were visiting SLC on a work trip. We were actually headed to lunch at a place around the corner when the patio caught our attention. The food smelled incredible and the patio was packed, so we pivoted and came here instead. You order at the counter and food comes out in about 15-20 minutes. The food itself was very flavorful, we tried their berliner doner and their sweet potato street cart fries. I did come during the lunch rush so they were very friendly but definitely understaffed. It felt like we waited about 25 minutes to get our two bowls and fries. I would recommend coming here either 20 minutes before your usual lunchtime or 20 minutes after because once it slowed down their service improved. I absolutely love the bar top. Had I done the double order ad a side it would have been plenty for dinner. I next did the gyro with lamb and beef. Plenty of meat, veggies and cheese. A little light on the sauce but still flavorful. They were running a 2 for 1 special but one was all I could eat. In conclusion this was a great find for something simple in my room. I went with a group today, and someone with us is gluten free. She really appreciated that there was a specific spot on the menu for gluten free items. She ended up ordering the gluten free remix bowl. She really liked the texture of the crispy garbanzos and loved the whole bowl overall. My husband got the street cart doner wrap and liked it. He got it with the beef and lamb. He liked the flavor on the meat but felt like the portion size could've been better. He got a Pilsner beer and thought it was good. I got the street cart fries with both kinds of fries. These are actually so so good! I think moving forward I would get just the sweet potatoes fries because I like those ones a lot more. The soda fountain is behind the counter which I didn't totally love, but you can go up and ask for as many refills as you'd like. Their Diet Coke brew was INCREDIBLE!! The negatives: it took a really really long time to make our food - 35+minutes. Also, the cinnamon sugar pita chips were overdone. Some of them were chewy and others too hard to bite in especially for kids. The positives: I enjoyed the medi doner wrap with the harissa sauce on the side.
