This is one of the cutest sushi spots in Wynwood, more specifically- handrolls! I've been here twice and I think it's so awesome for a chill dinner date with friends. This place is not hard to find although technically tucked away. There is plenty of street parking and when you walk in, you can't miss it because there isn't too many other things in the area so it's one of few. Once you enter, you're met with a lowlight, chill, and easygoing ambience. The host greets you seated at the bar/high-table. Then, the staff take care of you from there. There is a menu with a pencil in which you mark what you want, sort of like dim sum restaurants. Once handed to them, they start making your order - feeding you as they make it, one by one. All is delicious. You can't go wrong with any item. Side note: Reservations are important because there is very limited seating. read more

This was my first hand roll bar experience, and it was a memorable one. The service was incredible, the ambiance was top-notch, and it genuinely made me feel like I was out of town in the best way. Every roll was better than the last, and I loved how quickly everything came out. The beer and sake were both excellent. The only thing that felt a little uncomfortable was that there was a woman walking behind the bar every 10 minutes or so, seemingly inspecting everything. I'm not sure if she was checking on guests or keeping track of table turnover, but with such a small space it felt a bit awk. My biggest criticism is the portion size. Don't expect to come here starving and leave completely full. Even after spending over $300 for 2, I honestly felt like I could have eaten 10 more rolls. We visited PARÍ PARI to celebrate Mother's Day, invited by my husband and daughter, expecting a memorable dining experience at a restaurant known for its high-quality cuisine. The space is beautiful, intimate, thoughtfully designed, and the food is undeniably exquisite and of a very high standard. From a purely culinary perspective, the quality is excellent. However, the overall experience is difficult to reconcile with what is being charged. This is a highly expensive restaurant, yet the level of service and the way the experience is structured feel completely inconsistent with the price point. The staff appeared significantly understaffed and overwhelmed. On multiple occasions, we had to wait an excessive amount of time even for basic requests such as water or ginger, as the limited team was focused on managing the bar and multiple tables simultaneously, without enough support to maintain proper service flow. Even more surprising was being told, after approximately an hour and a half, that we needed to leave because other guests were waiting, as their dining experience is limited to about one hour. This policy was not communicated at any point upon arrival. At that point, the experience shifts away from anything resembling fine dining and instead feels closer to very expensive FAST food, high, quality food served under strict time pressure, with little space to actually enjoy the meal. In summary, while the food is exceptional, the combination of high pricing, rushed service, and limited attention makes the overall experience disappointing and, frankly, hard to justify. Pari pari is the kind of place you MUST experience yourself. The ambiance, the staff, the music, the freshness of the bites. It truly is such a gem in the city. It is a one of a kind experience considering how approachable yet still elevated they have managed to make the hand roll omakase experience. Their hamachi chimichurri is an absolute standout yet all the rolls we got to try were exceptional. The Wagyu was particularly good as well and I have heard wonders about their toro caviar so you best believe I am looking forward to trying it when I'm back. So I got introduced to this restaurant by Family Style Food Festival and it didn't disappoint one bit. I'm a sucker for yellowtail and to be honest with you, it's hard to find this style of food. It very much reminded me of LA in a sense, I loved going to Kazu Nori and it's very very similar to that! Every time I come to Pari Pari I am reminded how desperately we were in need of a spot like this in Miami. Great vibes every time, high quality, delicious + crispy handrolls, and pretty good prices overall. I came in last Thursday and they had karaoke night going on -- which was exactly the day I realized that handrolls, sake and karaoke just go hand in hand. My new favorite plan ever. I went for the salmon carpaccio + the 4 handroll option + black sesame and ligers cookie for dessert. Everything was phenomenal and our server Jorge made our experience simple exceptional. This was my first time trying handrolls and Pari Pari did not disappoint. I went with The Five plus two additional options. Everything was delicious, but I highly recommend the hamachi chimichurri, spicy scallops with cucumber, toro with caviar, and the tuna carpaccio. Those were the handrolls that really stood out. I'll start first by saying shout out to Matty he had great service! I walked in solo and a couple followed me in, immediately the couple was given a lot of attention I believe they were regulars, all good--but then more people walked in and I was still ignored. I was sat and as a first timer there wasn't really explained the breakdown of anything; luckily I know how omakase style works. No recommendations even after saying it was my first time was a little weird but nonetheless I ordered the four hand rolls the hamachi jalapeño and the ikura which was supposed to come as a side to top the hand rolls with. When I hit my third roll the ikura still didn't come out so I canceled it. Matty then offered something on the house to make up for that, which was VERY much appreciated! Now as for the food--the hand rolls were fresh but there wasn't much flavor which is why I supposed they offer their special sauces. The sauces are well curated and very unique! I really loved the mustard!! The hamachi jalapeño was a big surprise as the slices were big and very fresh it had flavor and a touch of spice I highly recommend going here just for that plate. Otherwise I think this is a cute date spot at night especially since it's intimate and dark; however I think I'll need to go again to try more options on the menu to get a better grasp on the place. read more

I love handrolls and was so excited to try this new handroll bar. The ambiance is very upscale and cool. It's pretty dark in there at night but I've heard it's nice to go during the day too because they have floor to ceiling windows so it gets great light. The menu has a good mix of handrolls, sashimi, appetizers, and extras like caviar. My boyfriend and I tried almost all of the handrolls with a mix of their signature sauces (a fun addition) and they were very fresh and flavorful. The handrolls were so good that they didn't even really need the sauces- just a little soy sauce. The servers were nice but service was a bit inconsistent. For example it took a long time when I ordered a glass of wine and all of my food came out before my friend's. They also mixed up some of our order like gave me my friend's roll. The final thing was that they added an extra 18% gratuity when we already tipped 20% but they fixed it quickly and were very apologetic. read more

I got the five roll preset menu as well as the uni wagu and salmon belly signature rolls. They were all delicious. I washed it down with a delightful ginger soda. The service was perfect. The rolls come out fast and our server Malcom was very knowledgeable and informative about the menu. He gave us some much appreciated tips for our order. The dessert menu is worth a look, I got the sesame ice cream with brown butter chocolate chip cookie. The ice cream has a nice blend of flavors and I liked that it wasn't too sweet. I don't think this is a place for a date night as you do have to eat in a rush. Wish there was a better coordination when serving, my friend had to wait for hers while I ate mine which felt weird. We both ordered at the same time we both should have been served together. I personally don't like to eat fast and the way the rolls come out you have too otherwise your food is just sitting there. Chef Yasu Tanaka makes my favorite sushi. I'll go to any food court, event, or concert where he's making sushi. The hand rolls at Pari Pari are exceptional with delicious fresh fish. The hamachi chimichurri was my favorite (and a total surprise). I'm giving it 4 stars because of the amazing food, but unfortunately I won't go back because I found the service and music so unpleasant. Due to the set up, the servers come up way too close and they are somewhat oblivious. One server was moving our plates around to clean soy sauce off the bar while we were eating a 3 bite hand roll. Another was an extremely close talker so we were physically uncomfortable. Honestly the servers were so weird at the end they were aggressively like, "so you want dessert?" as if we knew what the options were. The vibe is weird because it's like an intimate sushi bar with really loud lyrical music and a tv on.
