Paris Baguette has locations all over California and I'm not a fan of their drinks, but their desserts and pastries are pretty nice. It's obvious that Paris Baguette has a strong pulse on what's trendy in pastry and they're really smart about what they put out there. This month, they had a smores theme, so I got a smores liege waffle and a smores croissant. The croissant was "new york style", where it was filled with a marshmallow creme and dipped in chocolate. The liege waffle was pretty nicely crispy like a kouign amann and it also had that marshmallow creme that provided the perfect touch of sweetness. I love that you can get a curry croquette here and their version is not bad. What I love getting here is their version of a coffee croissant doughnut. Compared to Dominique Ansel's version, I believe their coffee doughnut compares pretty favorably. Unlike Ansel, who offers the coffee doughnut occasionally, Paris Baguette offers the coffee pastry pretty consistently and I'm appreciative of that. read more

We come here at least once a week to pick up bread for lunch or dessert. They have a rewards app where you can earn points toward free drinks and pastries, which is a nice bonus. They always have a great selection of fresh bread, pastries, and cakes, and the service is consistently fast and friendly. Came to this Buena Park location for a quick run in and out. I was immediately greeted by a sweet person name, Sindy (yes, Cindy with an "S"). Her smile was welcoming and her customer service was above and beyond. She helped a very indecisive person like myself and I walked out of there within 5 minutes with a cold brew in hand. It's great because you can grab coffee and bakery items while also taking care of grocery shopping or browsing nearby Korean beauty and clothing stores. Compared to other locations, this one has a much larger seating area and a wider selection of bread and cakes. The staff are always friendly, and the female staff member who seems like the manager is especially kind and welcoming. You can also earn points through their app and redeem them for free drinks and pastries, which is a nice perk. I've been a frequent customer because I really enjoy their glutinous rice donuts, but this experience was very disappointing. The donuts came out almost black from old, unchanged oil. I ordered cakes and pastries through Uber Eats. It's Easter so I was expecting some delay as I know how bakeries are super busy on holidays. My delivery came and was missing 3 cakes I ordered. I've known about this Paris Baguette for a while, but it's kind of far from me in comparison to the Cerritos location. However, every now and then, you're willing to drive a little farther to try a different location, and this last visit was one of those times. Actually, I did go to this Buena Park location earlier this year, but their rewards system was down, and they wouldn't have been able to scan my QR code to redeem my reward at the time. They are located in the Super 1 Mart plaza on the southwest corner of Beach and La Mirada. If you see Beach Galleria, it's just to the left of that. I had a BOGO Croissant Reward^ alongside a handful of other rewards for the month of May, and I didn't want to decide which reward to use until I looked at the remaining pastries available inside the bakery. As I was going up and down the rows of pastries, I saw that there were four croissants left, and each croissant was priced at $3.39. My BOGO Croissant reward was only good for regular croissants and not any of the flavored ones like chocolate drizzle, so I figured this would be my opportunity to use that BOGO reward before someone else could snatch three. One of the May rewards I got was $2 off a sandwich, salad, or wrap. When I went late Sunday afternoon, they had only a few sandwiches left, so definitely keep this in mind if you want an actual entree item here. From what I recall, the sandwiches were between $8 and $9. I didn't recall seeing any salads or wraps, but I easily could have missed them. There were three Paris Baguette employees working that day, and Eliah was the one who rang me up. She was quite pleasant, perhaps more than the other ones I encountered on my first visit, one of whom was a manager. She found a nice sturdy box to place my croissants in and did so with great care. I asked how long these croissants would stay good for, and she estimated a couple of days. I was legitimately expecting her to place the croissants in a plastic bag or two, so seeing her box them up like that was quite a nice surprise. I'm trying not to factor the taste of the croissants too much into my rating since they are just normal croissants, but I did like how buttery and flakey they were. Other than that, there wasn't really anything extraordinary about them. There is plenty of space off to the side to enjoy your purchased goods, but there isn't that much space to walk up and down the line of goods. This was a non-issue for me since there wasn't any other customer inside at the time, but if a swarm of customers had come in, my claustrophobia would have likely kicked in, especially since they didn't have *that* many pastries left in stock. I would have probably given 4 stars based on my last visit, but I'm going with 3 instead. Why? Well, I already mentioned the first reason, and the second reason is because I also visited the Paris Baguette in La Habra just up Beach Blvd on the same trip. Guess what? Their croissants were 40 cents cheaper *and* they looked bigger! I was kind of ticked off at that. Even though it was later in the afternoon, I probably would have gone for a reward involving a coffee drink rather than the BOGO Croissant reward instead had I known the pricing discrepancy. I'd still be open to a return visit, however, especially since they're in a part of Buena Park that seems to be lively and vibrant with so much going on at every corner of the intersection. I just wouldn't make this my first pick. For what it's worth, I do believe Eliah was friendlier than all the employees I've encountered at the Cerritos location in spite of how short my interaction was with her. ^ I got the BOGO Croissant Reward as a "Miss You" reward, likely because it had been so long since my last visit. I suppose that's another way to earn rewards from Paris Baguette! read more

I love the interior of this bakery, because the interior is very clean and modern with many comfortable tables. The staff Judy who took my coffee order today is very nice and kind. She greeted me with her warm looking smile and provided me outstanding service while she is serving my coffee. The coffee she brewed it for me tasted fresh, and delicious. I think these stores are slightly over rated; HOWEVER, this is my favorite location and I am actually obsessed with their Custard Tart with Strawberry & Nutella. YUM! It's big too, so you could easily split it. I've tried other items such as: Milk & Cereal Mochi Donut, a Chocolate Filled Croissant, Milk & Cereal King Cream Donut, the Egg Salad Sandwich and some drink. Everything else has just been okay and I haven't ordered again. That still get 4 stars though because of the Custard Tart with Strawberry & Nutella and the service has always been great as well. This was my first time visiting a Paris Baguette, and I was delighted with my experience. Upon entering, I was greeted by a large selection of tasty pastries and desserts displayed beautifully in a glass case. After locating the trays and tongs (which were a bit hidden away), I quickly grabbed a few goodies. It was hard to decide what I wanted, but thankfully all the items were reasonably priced. I did encounter an issue with one of the glass cabinets that wouldn't close. After selecting a cream tart and a sausage bread, I headed to the counter to pay. The lady at the front was very sweet, but I wish she had informed me that they could heat up my bread. The total came out to under $8, which isn't bad for two items. The dining area of the bakery was spacious, with plenty of booths and couches for customers to lounge on. Most of the area was clean, and the seat I chose was comfortable and soft. Of the two items I got, I enjoyed the cream tart a bit more. The flaky crust complemented the creamy filling, and it wasn't overly sweet. The sausage bread was decent too; if it had been warm, I think I would have liked it even more. read more

This part of Buena Park is not far from the 5 freeway and 91 Freeway. The area is not far from Knotts Berry farm and several other attractions. The parking lot is shared with many other businesses so I had no problem parking. There are many Korean restaurants in this area, both on Beach Boulevard and in the area. The service was great, very quick and professional. There is indoor seating. They have trays and tongs to use to get your food. read more

I am writing as a former customer to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your location. My guest and I stopped by for breakfast and were in the process of selecting baked goods when my guest needed to use the restroom to wash his hands. When we politely asked an employee for the restroom key code, she replied in a rude and dismissive manner, saying, "It's on your receipt." I explained that we had not yet made our purchase and simply needed the code to use the restroom first. The employee, however, raised her voice and repeated that she was "very busy" and that the restroom was only for paying customers. This response was both unprofessional and inconsiderate. As a result, we left the store without making a purchase and went instead to Bleu Bakery across the street, where we received kind service, excellent food, and access to their clean restroom without any issue. I find it unreasonable that a bakery serving food would deny basic restroom access to customers who are clearly intending to buy. This kind of treatment reflects poorly on the Paris Baguette brand. I strongly recommend that your staff receive additional customer service and hospitality training to prevent similar incidents in the future. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I no longer plan to visit Paris Baguette and will be sharing my feedback with others. I hope that management takes this issue seriously to improve service quality and restore trust with future customers. read more

There are 2 entrances to this bakery. On Sundays, mall opens at 11 am but you can use its own front entrance to get in before the mall hours. It has two restrooms and plenty of seating in the back and the side behind the divider. Lots of usual goodies on Sunday 10 30 am but I still didn't see the matcha pound cake at this location. Lol, a very small-minded worker denied my 75yo mother the restroom code. She already bought something, her friend was in line to buy more, my mother needed to use the restroom and asked for the restroom code. This worker states restroom codes generate at the bottom of the receipt, which she did not know and to avoid digging through the trash and pulling her old receipt back out, urgently needed the code and asked as a paying customer if she could just get one. The clerk continues to bark up this tree and tells my mother, "if you wait, a receipt will print and I can give you the code." A PAYING CUSTOMER NEEDING TO USE THE RESTROOM HAVING TO WAIT ON YOUR COMMON SENSE TO KICK IN is straight ignorant~ Someone needs more training. Super cute little place tucked away in a little shopping center in Buena Park. There was so many treats, many were cold in the fridge but some similar to 85 degrees wrapped in plastic, different kinds of bread with cheesecakes etc. You choose your food and check out with the cashier. There's an area to sit and eat it's pretty cute there. They also have salads and sandwiches premade.. I went and got the egg salad sandwich with cucumber, it was cute and they cut the edges off. Anything pastry is a great choice. Their croissant is my personal favorite. They have many layers, so flaky and tasty, and the ones with fillings are very nice and sweetness is perfectly balanced.
