A side view of the delicious sweets!
    Nelson C.

Harui the owner catered my wedding. Our theme was Marie Antoinette inspired. It was the kind of wedding where indulgence was required. Let's just say she brought it. The cupcakes, sweets, treats! You name it she got our vibe to a T. She is the kind of person that will get to know your wants and needs and make sure that your satisfied with the product. If you can bake it she can make it. You just need to ask her and share your ideas. She has a churro cupcake to die for and the fresh raspberry white cake is so tasty. If your looking for sweet treats that you'll remember and a reliable, understanding, and punctual owner than look no further Harui and communitea bakery is your go to. Ask for the coffee cake it's dreamy!

I order one main birthday cake and 12 cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party, I gave her my idea, and she's very good at making the idea happened! She also delivered my cakes to the birthday party, that's very helpful.

Decorating macaroons at LA Food Fest

Definitely go to bakery when you need baked goods! Great flavors, great presentation, great taste, and most importantly great pricing! Perfect bakery to go when you need custom made cupcakes for any occasion! My favorite is the churros and the sesame cupcakes I can eat them forever! What other bakery supports your dreams and give back to the community? Found this bakery at the LA food event this summer And got to decorate macaroons that supported my dream

Cheesecake! And Anpanman Cupcakes for my daughter's birthday.

Communitea Bakery is my sweet spot! When I first tasted the cupcakes and pies in the jar, I was sold. My favorites include the lemon cheesecake and strawberry shortcake (now its a raspberry cupcake I believe). I've ordered Communitea bakery for baby showers, my daughter's birthday, for my friend's bridal shower and more! I love the small miniature size and mission statement of the company. Following Communitea's Instagram, I was happy to see the causes that they are donating to! I hope to see more flavors and a possible storefront in the future?

    Pumpkin Pie (seasonal for Thanksgiving)
    Emily W.

Wanted to support a small business for Thanksgiving and stumbled upon this page. Perused the website and glad to have found a fellow social worker whose proceeds from her side hustle go back to the community. Called and left a voicemail interested in a pie and Harui immediately texted me with details and confirmed arrangements. $20 for an 8" pumpkin pie (worth the $$ for quality and the mission!) Easy meet up location in Walnut and was blown away by the cute design done! Harui also was sweet enough to give us some homemade cookies she made. My family and I loved the taste of the pumpkin pie (major upgrade from the grocery store ones we always buy)--not too sweet and heavy. Only complaint would be clearer menu/descriptions on the website with a complete list of items to order (seasonal items weren't on there) and exactly how the ordering/pick up process works. Would definitely recommend ordering from her--she was very communicative/fast at responding and the quality of the baked goods was super!!

To my surprised they were individually packaged and this location had multiple flavors compared to the locations I've been to prior. They were individually wrapped and premade, not as fresh as what I have had prior. We got 2 of the walnuts, 2 redbean filling, 2 chocolate looking ones, and the rest in original custard. The others were fun to try but the custard is my favorite. A nice snack if I'm already at this H-Mart picking up groceries but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I like the locations that sell them fresh, when they're warm and tasty. The taiyakis are made fresh to order but it's a bigger pastry.

The Signature Mixed Noodle has a scallion and soy sauce taste, and it comes with plenty of thick and chewy round noodles. The Spicy Noodle Salad comes with a similar type of thick/round chewy noodles as the signature mixed noodle, but instead of soy sauce flavoring, it comes with a spicy (just slightly) chili and sesame oil sauce. This noodle also includes corn kernels and slices of iceberg lettuce as toppings. Again, plenty of noodles included in each serving as well. This is a very refreshing noodle to be eaten on a hot summer day! Great value considering the portion and taste. Parking wise, there are plenty of spaces as It is located within the Super Hmart plaza. Check it out when in the area. Also want to highlight the great service received as I came by the restaurant about 5-10min before closing. The staff was already in the process of closing, but when she saw me walked in, she was readily available to take my order and I was able to get my order after the closing hour. Definitely worth coming back to try their other dishes/wraps! Come and support our local small businesses.

What I love most here is the ordering experience. There are multiple large touchscreens where you can fully customize your drink -- sugar level, ice level, add-ons, substitutions, you name it. I almost always go for zero sugar, and the fact that I can do that easily is a huge plus for me. It's the kind of flexibility that modern boba shops should all offer. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, which is refreshing compared to some other spots in the area. Is it the most amazing boba I've ever had? Honestly, no -- but the ability to build your drink exactly the way you want it more than makes up for it. There's also a large display screen showing order status, so you always know when your drink is ready. It's a small touch, but it makes the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. I'll be real though -- I probably drink more coffee from the Starbucks across the street than boba from here. At the end of the day, coffee feels like the healthier daily habit. But when I'm in the mood for something different, this place is where I'll be.

I really enjoyed their Matcha Frappuccino too! Just know that it's more like a matcha smoothie than a traditional matcha latte. Don't expect a super strong or intense matcha flavor--it's creamy, refreshing, and still really good! My teenage daughter really liked it too, and she normally doesn't like matcha when the flavor is too strong. And surprisingly, one of my favorite things was the pineapple soft serve!
