I stopped by Shemda Crepes, Drinks & More today around 11:15 a.m. and had a great experience overall. The interior is beautiful and inviting, with plants everywhere from the ceiling to the floor, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. One thing I immediately noticed was how friendly the staff was. Everyone who walked in was greeted warmly. I was helped by a newer employee, and he was still learning but very nice. For my order, I got an iced Spanish latte with oatmilk, the Banana Royale Crepe, and a Chipotle Chicken Panini with no tomatoes or onions and added avocado. The iced Spanish latte was delicious and definitely on the sweeter side, which is exactly how I like my coffee. If you prefer a less sweet drink, I would recommend asking them to adjust the sweetness level. The Banana Royale crepe was amazing. It was generously filled with bananas and full of flavor. It was easily my favorite sweet item. The Chipotle Chicken Panini was also very delicious and they did modify it with the exclusions I asked for but it was a bit heavy on the chipotle sauce, and I didn't see any avocado in my sandwich. That was a little disappointing, but overall it was still tasty and satisfying. Overall, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the customer service was excellent. Last week was my first time here and really liked what I ate.. so after a long day I really wanted to come back and sadly I was disappointed. I had ordered an açaí bowl and asked for less banana and more blue blueberries (which was also noted on the receipt). Once I got in the car and opened up the bowl.. it was the total opposite of what I asked for, so I decide to over look it and when I took a bite, the açaí was just soup. I don't think I've ever experienced açaí so watery like this. I was pretty sad because I was looking forward to this all day. My boyfriend ordered a panini and it was okay, wasn't bad. I wasn't sure what to order at first, but a friendly regular shared a few recommendations -- and the cashier agreed -- so of course I had to try them! I ordered the chicken pesto panini (without bacon), the vegetarian salad, and the Vampiro fresh juice. I'll be honest, I was testing the juice because not everyone knows how to blend beets -- sometimes it's too sweet, sometimes it tastes earthy -- but this one was perfection! Everything was delicious. My husband was having physical therapy a couple of suites from Shemda. I decided to check the shop out. As you enter the shop, you are immediately greeted with a smile. The display case was well lit to see the items. I was totally impressed with the beautiful ambiance. The displays on the walls, counters, and the plants were just wonderful to look at. I love it. The menu on the wall was easy to read and beautifully written. I ordered the Banana Nut Bread and Blueberry muffin. The Banana Nut Bread was nice and moist, flavorful and just the perfect size for me. The next time my husband has therapy, I will stop by to try the Pitaya bowl. I was surprised they had that on their menu. I can't wait. As I was leaving I made sure I told the attendant/owner "God bless", she immediately said "Have a blessed day". Service first of all is amazing. You're so warmly greeted the minute you walk in. I love all the lush greenery inside too. What a great day to start the morning. I was in search for a good açaí because many of the ones I've been in the area is to watery like a smoothie. I got the protein bowl and one thing I noticed is what you pay, You really get a good value with a really huge bowl and a lot of fruits. Now, being that one of the fruits is blueberries I found the amount given was way too stingy. I think I can count the number of blueberries that I got. Other than that it laden with strawberries and bananas. I love how there's enough chips and coconut on top of it before you get into the açaí. One thing I would recommend is to let your açaí bowl melt a little bit because the açai is super frozen. But the lovely thing about it, is that it will never feel like a smoothie. The açaí is flavorful and really sweet so if you're into the sweet deal, this is great. I personally will opt out of the honey next time because it was way too sweet with the fruits. Of course you can't leave here without getting coffee and I have to say they make a pretty good latte, very simple with almond milk and it is strong. You get points for your order so make sure to add your phone number if you are coming back! read more

I was honestly not impressed with Shemda Crepes in Chino. I've had crepes that taste a lot better from street food vendors in Pomona, where the flavors are richer. You can tell they tried to be aesthetic with the location, but it unfortunately backfired--the space feels overcrowded with too many plants and decor, making it look cluttered rather than inviting. If the goal was to hide their food prep area from the public, they did a great job with the multitude of plants, real and plastic that fill this space. I enjoyed the coffee but the ham and croissant breakfast sandwich was lacking. The menu showed it came with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. The sandwich was served on a warm croissant, semi melted cheddar cheese only and straight from the fridge cold sliced ham, served with a pickle on the side (?). I would have expected the breakfast sandwich would have been served hot and probably without the pickle.
