Hungry in the morning rushing around deep Downtown Cincinnati can be a serious issue. I am one of those who believe that QUICK can also mean QUALITY. Here's a "hallelujah" for Paris Baguette. It is a feast for the eyes long before you bite into any one of their delicious delicacies. My magic came in the form of an Egg and Cheese Sandwich--delicious! A very nearly too sweet strawberry smoothie finished my delightful dive into Paris Baguette. I will be back later for lunch and to lick the glass between me and the baker while I await my meal. It's newish so let me help you find it. It's on the backside of the Hyatt on fourth west. Go get 'em, but make sure your devices are charged. The service was really good but I wasn't all that impressed by the food. We ordered a strawberry cream cake and it tasted like nothing almost. I don't like things that are overly sweet but that cake needed sugar! We also got a twisted croissant, a hash brown croissant and a croissant with tomatoes and pesto. They were all fine. One thing that annoyed me was that I ordered a regular coffee and there was this SUPER TINY space to put my cream and sugar in it. I guess everyone mostly orders the specialty coffee so the though they didn't need any space for the regular coffee drinkers. read more

Excellent bakery with so many options of sweets and hot drinks. The extensive options of croissants and pastries. I love the ones filled with chocolate and jams but the best pastry is the biscoff pillow donut. It is so soft and filled with biscoff cream. Yummy. Coffee options plenty and great quality. read more

Not a true French bakery - with that being said good desserts and sandwiches. I was just looking for more like croque monsier or homemade soups and true French pastries like, classic Napoleon Dessert (mille-feuille) That is true French. If you are wanting the typical croissant and American pastry you will be happy. read more

I've been in 5 times now, and 4 of those visits ended in disappointment. I like a snack in the afternoons, and they have all kinds of treats to tempt you. Every baked good I've had was dry and chewy, like it was fresh the day before. I got a croissant donut. Nothing in the description said it had lemon frosting, I hate lemon frosting on baked goods, the frosting was lemon flavored. It wasn't worth it, even if it didn't have the undisclosed lemon frosting. One day I got two donuts that had cream cheese filling according to the description. Both donuts were chewy as hell and completely hollow. The only way I can describe it, is if you've ever had a mozzarella stick that was in the fryer too long and you're left with a crunchy tube of nothing, so it was that but chewy. I got a bun filled with chocolate. This raised my review from one star to two. The bun was very soft, and had a nice filling of chocolate. I enjoyed it. I stopped in and got a long twisted donut. It was so chewy that my jaw hurt by the end of it. I just don't understand why everything is so chewy and not soft. The croissant drizzled with chocolate was dry, very dry, and the chocolate doesn't come across at all. I've given them enough chances and won't be back. read more

The workers at the cafe are all sweet and patient. I was able to come once early in the morning and once in the afternoon. If you want the baked pastries, I recommend coming in the morning before they sell out. The sweet/fruity pastries I got were delicious with fresh fruits and custard. The blueberry yogurt cake was also lite and delicious with fresh strawberries inside. The matcha latte and lavendar matcha frappe I got were not too delicious but also not terrible. Cincinnati is so blessed to finally have a parisien inspired bakery right in the heart of the business district. The selection was so delicious and reminded me of being in Paris. I only wish I would have gone early in the morning to get the most fresh offerings. Even so, our pain au chocolat was amazing and I could tell that it was made with love and affection. The staff was kind and helpful, though I had no questions or issues for them to solve which is a good thing. The vibe was quiet in the late evening, but inviting for a quiet energy to hang out if such a place was needed. I will happily return and even get some sweets for events from here. So excited to have in town one of our favorite stops during our coastal trips. Pastries (Asian and European) are always perfect, sandwiches delicious and light, and cakes are beautiful and delicious, not overly sweet - signature of Korean/Japanese cakes. It is a beautiful space, but it does get very busy even on a weekday. So, be ready for potential long wait and limited seating esp on weekends. Highly recommend you check it out! WOW!!! Paris Baguette takes up the northwest corner of 4th and Race Streets in downtown Cincinnati We went for breakfast and parked in the garage right above establishment at a very reasonable rate. When you walk in and grab a tray you feel like a kid in a candy store. The number of different pasteries is astounding and they all looked amazing. We managed to limit ourselves to 2 each (they are quite large) and a cup of coffee. They were great... ok, we also bought 3 more to take home with us ;) This was our first visit and will not be our last - it definitely exceeded our expectations! read more
