The Filet Fries cooked in Beef Tallow with an Amazing Sauce!

Okay... the Filet Fries need to be a regular menu item! It would be sad to see them go! Patrick is the best, always looking for ways to better serve people. He really makes you feel appreciated! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is great and I anticipate a popular summer for Ten Mile![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you try to reach me and I don't respond... you know where to find me...

Great location, great food, great vibes, easy parking, plenty of seating - what more could you ask for? We stopped in on the 4th of July, they were busy but not too crowded. They have a large pizza menu and beer list, and I appreciated their non alcoholic offerings as well. We sat on the patio which was enclosed, it offers umbrella covered seating, a play area for kids, and tons of tables. The pizza and Ceaser salad were delicious as well as their homemade root beer. This is a great spot to hang out with friends or family.

We were in the area to watch our son's water polo game and thought we would stop by Ten Mile to grab a beer and a snack. We were greeted right away from Patrick, our awesome bar keep. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ten Mile has lots of room to be seated and is very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a pFriem Hazy IPA and my husband ordered Rain. We both enjoyed our beers along with our tater tots and pretzel. Great selection of beers and nice little food menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ten Mile is a great place to grab some beers and have a snack and relax.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the vibe here and we will definitely be back to drink more beers and taste more of the menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Special thanks to our bartender Patrick for the excellent service. Patrick is super friendly and helpful and will take great care of you.

You need to try this place out at least ONCE! That's all it takes for you to be convinced to come back. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful! I have a lot of appreciation for that! The place isn't too big but the ambiance and people are great! There's also outdoor seating. My favorite drink on the menu was the mango hard kombucha. I was feeling good after two haha Onto the pizzas...flavorful, didn't skimp out on toppings, and the dough WOW. So soft and fluffy but with a nice crunch. Best pizzas in town! I can't wait to come back and try more!

Capacity (non alcoholic) beer and the Sunnyside Pilsner
    Samantha D.

Finally tried our neighborhood beer spot on a rainy day for happy hour and I'm so glad we did! I'm preggo but was excited that the non-alcoholic beer (the Capacity NA Pale Ale) was really good and hit the spot. My husband got the Sunnyside Pilsner and that was great too. For happy hour, they do $2 off beers and $15 pizzas (they have a few other deals), so we got the pepperoni pizza with hot honey and it was amazing. Great food, good beers, helpful staff, and open seating with a fun, family friendly vibe. Will definitely be coming back!

Solid pizza and great ambiance with the outdoor patio area. Nice variety of beers on tap. Service is quick at the bar, but pizzas can sometimes take a while when they are busy.

Stumbled upon this place because our go-to restaurant wasn't open for lunch. What a pleasant surprise. I love breweries so it was a great find. The team was very friendly and welcoming asking if we needed any help since they could tell we had not been there before. We ordered a couple beers, a Mexican inspired salad and one of their happy hour featured pizzas. It's a huge place with a lot of both inside and outdoor seating. It's a very welcoming place with both adult games and children's play areas. I especially loved the outdoor seating around a beautiful fountain and across from a neighborhood that looked like it was out of middle America. The pizza and salad were delicious and the beers tasty.

We were happily greeted by our server Gianna and the Bartender, both smiled and welcomed us. The food came quickly and at perfect temperatures. We discovered 'happy hour' while there and ordered from that menu since we like to share small plates. This happy hour is one of the best values in the Laguna Niguel area! The QUALITY of this food sets them apart from others! The restaurant itself is small and intimate with music on certain nights. We arrived at 4:15 so there were 4 people at the bar, and tables were open. We ordered a caesar salad, the calamari, and Pappardelle Bolognese, plus my hubbies favorite the famous 'giant' meatball starter topped with marinara and burrata, served in an all-clad skillet. The Caesar salad was just enough for my husband and was served cold with crisp romaine lettuce, fried capers, buttery croutons but it was the dressing that was really delicious! It was perfectly balanced, and we could actually taste the anchovies! Yum. That house-made huge meatball I mentioned is a blend of beef, pork, and veal, and one of the best meatballs in the area (and beyond), no exaggeration! As an Italian Nonna, I've been making meatballs for decades and this recipe is legit. The pappardelle is house-made by a friend of the owner. He spends time in his kitchen and you can absolutely taste it with every bite! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the bolognese was delightful, I could taste the richness and depth of flavors with a hint of wine. Yum. The calamari was perfect! I wonder if they soak the squid before breading them because it's so tender even the tentacles (which are my favorite part ) melt in your mouth! The batter is tasty and the breading had the perfect balance of spices that blended together nicely and it was served with a side of marinara and lemon wedges (the later is my preference.) The butter cake is house-made by the owner and decadently delicious, sooo yummy. We brought it home but ate the delicious ice cream on the side. This is a great little neighborhood ristorante and a favorite of many! It's a great place to eat 'alfresco' on the outdoor patio, or listen to music on Friday or Saturday night. Make a reservation as it not a large place. Buon appetito!

There seemed to be enough people working but for whatever reason the service was incredibly slow. Our server would approach one table, then disappear, then return with one item. Them repeat. It was so bad I had to go inside and see what was going on. (20 min after receiving a drink) There were plenty of employees- mostly they were standing around. Our server was very nice- and the food was great, but management needs to figure out a system for serving that avoids 20 minutes delays before ordering. Our server was serving tables in and out of the restaurant and having a hard time at that. Finished our drinks before we were able to get her attention to order our dinner.

We kicked things off with the bone in hot wings and the spinach artichoke dip. The wings were juicy with just the right amount of heat and the dip came with pink chips which felt festive and fun without being over the top. The heart shaped pizza was a moment and came with a Caesar salad that was actually really good. Crisp lettuce, solid dressing, and not just something thrown on the plate. My favorite dish though was the heart shaped ravioli. They were loaded with cheese but somehow still felt balanced and not too heavy. The sauce was rich and comforting and the bread on the side made it impossible not to clean the plate. We tried all three Valentine's drinks and each one was a hit. Berry Be Mine was fruity and easy to sip, Kiss Me I'm Tart was exactly what it sounds like, and the Ex-presso Martini was smooth and not overly sweet. Dessert sealed the deal. The warm cookie with strawberry ice cream was the perfect cozy ending and honestly worth ordering even if you are already full. Overall Selma's really nailed the Valentine's vibe while still delivering on flavor. Everything felt thoughtful, shareable, and perfect for a date night or a fun night out. I would absolutely come back, especially when they roll out seasonal menus like this.

Upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was the sparse coverage of pepperoni. Smaller pepperoni usually "cups" more and has crispy edges but they're usually more savory as well. Not what I found. Could've been the lack of coverage so maybe I should've ordered "double pepperoni" but based on the Yelp pics, I didn't think that was necessary. Plus, Jose at Peppinos La Paz was always generous with coverage so the expectation was set by them. Lesson learned. The crust. Hard and overdone. Not much else to add but the dough wasn't tender & pliable but it seemed cheap. If they were new and just learning the ropes, I would say give them time to figure things out but comparing this pizza to the ones enjoyed at Lake Forest & Rockfield, they have a long way to go. I've read the owner responses and know that he's not going to take this well but so what. Do better. The girls at the front desk were very nice. The bar seemed legit but needs variety of choice. UPDATE: Thanks Joe! I'll take you up on that sometime. By the way, I hadn't read any other reviews before posting my review as I was simply discussing my own experience.

I loved the toppings so, so much! But the bread underneath was not the Detroit style experience that we know and love. Yes, Detroit style is known for being thick bready crust underneath, but the ratio was way off. It was too much bread (and trust me, I love my bread). It was like 85% bread ratio, and very bubbly...maybe too much yeast? Either way, we started splitting the pizza in half length-wise to get the ratio right because, again, the toppings were so delightful. I think the pizza just needs some tweaks on the crust only and it would be fantastic.
