Horrible experience. I work in the restaurant industry so I am VERY forgiving with most things. The wait for 2 sandwiches and a burrito was over 45 minutes and there was only one person ahead of us. They burned something while it was being made and the entire room smelled horrible. When we finally got our food we raced out of there to eat somewhere else. When we got to our destination we found out that it was our food that was burnt. Not only did it look burnt but it tasted burnt with burnt pieces stuck to the sandwich from whatever appliance they used to cook it. There was rotten avocado put on the burrito and the other sandwich was so covered in burnt smoke that that's all we could taste. Everything was practically inedible. I left there honestly concerned about food poisoning. The whole place looks like it hasn't been cleaned and the one guy working there kept touching his face with his gloves and going to the back to cough. I tried calling over 10 times to try and communicate this but no one answers the phone and there is no place to leave a voicemail. I'm sorry, but these people are not the sharpest. You ask for an everything bagel with cream cheese and lox on the side so that you can toast it at home. Today my roommate went to order our usual order and whether it's because they don't speak enough English or they basically don't care, they give you an untoasted bagel with the cream cheese and the lox already on it when you have specifically asked for it to be separate. When he brought it to their attention, they said do you have an air fryer? You can bake it. I'm imagining this in an air fryer or baked, you'd have liquidy cream cheese, and cooked lox! If this had been the first time this happened, I wouldn't post the review because mistakes happen, but there have been times I had to send it back three times because they kept doing it wrong. They carry good bagels, but their service is terrible and they really don't care what the customer wants. Maybe they should hire some people who speak better English, but whatever, they absolutely don't care if you are satisfied or not. Now I have a mess and I'm sure I won't be able to toast it with that cream cheese glaze on it but I couldn't get off. How hard is it to just put the cream cheese in a separate cup and the lox separate when you specifically ask as clearly as possible? They also keep messing up when they put the order up to grab, not knowing what they just made when you ask them. The coffee is mid at best and the chai tastes like water with cinnamon in it. The bagels are toasted but somehow always only lukewarm. The "hot sandwich" is not hot at all. The cheese on the sandwiches is legitimately a piece of cheese (See attached photo). My mom and I were looking for a quick breakfast and decided to try this spot after finding it on Yelp. We got to a small, slightly run down and dark cafe and were eventually greeted by someone working. We both ordered bagel sandwiches: I went with the Grateful Eggel on an everything bagel (no cheese, added avocado), and my mom chose the Mini Monster on a sesame bagel. Young lady was doing it all, mindful, and present with me while I was there. I don't care for someone that's busy but more attentive to their chores than the customers- she was accommodating and that's more appreciated than you can imagine- especially while walking with crutches. I took away stars only because of the customer service experience, the food was good. Specially when you're beginning your day, overall experience matters. The person taking the order, didn't take the time to explain what she meant by "do you want room". She was basically talking about whether to leave room for milk or not which I did not know and asked if they could add oat milk, which later I found out they didn't have by the way. Our only response was "so you want room!" They didn't take a name for the order which I felt was unusual, because you could have people ordering the same thing. I ordered a Raspberry Mocha with coconut milk ! It was absolutely delicious. I am so happy I have found a coffee place with many alternatives for milk and even more happy they were able to make me a mocha with coconut milk . I been to many coffee houses where they only served oat milk , soy and almond milk and one place even told me that they unfortunately can't make their mochas with an alternative milk. This place used to be good like 10 years ago. I think they sold it. The service is extremely slow and the food is from Costco and bland as heck. I had to add tons of salt to make edible. I tried to give them several chances as I moved back to the area recently and I will never come back. They only put one shot of espresso in a large latte seriously?! Who does that?! EDIT: thank you to the owner for replying. I realize I was a bit harsh and not very informative on the problem as I was upset when I wrote it. I ordered my coffee and was told that there is only one shot of espresso in the small, medium and large lattes, which I found extremely weird. Second, the boy behind the counter looked very young, almost 12 years old lol I know that's probably not the case but he was also extremely inexperienced and the boys seemed to be brothers. I asked for 3 shots in my latte and it was so bitter and burnt I told them I couldn't drink it and asked for a refund. They were taking so long to process orders and I had already waited 20 mins for my coffee that I left out of rage without my refund. Personally, on the weekend when people are going out of their way to get coffee at a cute shop like this I think it's important that they be fully staffed with competent staff during busy hours. I also don't think you should sell any baked goods that are from Costco. That's so lame for a local coffee place that actually sells local coffee EQUATOR which is great coffee. The price for a bagel and cream cheese keeps inching its way up but the quality keeps going down here. After a dollar tip it is over $7 for a bagel. Last time i got one the wildberry cream cheese tasted off like it was old. I tried to eat a few bites and my body rejected the flavor and i could not continue. I brought the bagel back to have a different one made and i was argued with for a moment that the creamcheese was not old but they went ahead and made me another with plain creamcheese instead. A couple days later i got some lowlevel sickness. And have been ill ever since. I dont get colds or flus often and I don't know what else it is from except i do get reiters syndrome pretty easy from bad microbes and i think the bad bagel i had a few bites of could have easily been the culprit and triggered my autoimmune reaction. I just got back from a long trip to NY so naturally I am on a bagel craze at the moment. I'm so happy to report that this place knows how to do a damn good bagel!! Ample cream cheese, chive cream cheese just as good as the infamous scallion cream cheese back on the east, and a chewy/flavorful everything bagel! The only bagel complaint I have is that the bagel is a little small for the price point. I also got the Vietnamese Iced Coffee -- I was kind of surprised to see it on the menu since it's not a common coffee order but went with it anyways cause I love a yummy viet iced coffee. My first sip tasted off, like something was burnt so I thought maybe it was the type of lid they use that melts the plastic lid onto the cup (like boba drinks). I poured it into a different cup and it tasted way better. Their coffee is on the sweeter side so I poured a shot of nesspresso and a little bit of water in it to dilute the sweetness and make it stronger. Nowwww it's better and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Maybe it's even better in store as I got my food delivered but I'm still pretty impressed with everything since the bagel is what I really needed them to get right! 4/5 cause of the coffee snafu and price point. read more

Great place if you need a quick bite when on the go. A smaller bagel shop that could use a little makeover. It's small, funky and reminds me of my aunts decorations. We got 3 bagles and 2 drinks came to $26. We had a monstrous Mediterranean breakfast bagel, Turkey bagel sandwich and we got a pizza bagel. The food came fast and decent. I'm kicking myself for not adding cream cheese to the Mediterranean bagel because I found it to be dry. Cream cheese would of made it a little better. That was my fault for lacking. The herbed cream cheese that came on the Turkey sandwich was pretty dang tasty. I will keep this place in mind if in the area again. read more
