Black coffee
Olga N.

We tried 2 cases and 3 pastries. Everything was very average. The pasties are not puffy and flaky. More your average "Publix's" pastries. The coffee is bad. We sat inside and ate in. They are no plates, even paper plates! They did not give us a receipt, the cashier did not know the name of the cake to put it on the check. They were not friendly, just a transaction. Nothing else. For 51$ this was such a disappointment. In a nutshell, do you spend your hard earned money in this place. No value for money.

Paris Baguette is the most charming little bakery right on Broughton Street. From the moment you walk through the door, it truly feels like stepping into Europe--almost as if you've been transported straight to Paris. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully styled, and the display of pastries and cakes is simply irresistible. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. From flaky pastries and rich cakes to savory options like quiche, there's something for every craving. Pair it with a great cup of coffee, and you're set.

The Paris Baguette is finally open in Savannah and I couldn't be happier! I first tried it in Atlanta a few months ago and when I heard they were opening a location here, I was so excited. I am not a huge fan of their coffee drinks, but I love their pastries. They have everything from savory to sweet. The pastries are so unique and different.

Help yourself to a treat! Wide selection of pastries, sweet breads, donuts and treats. Bustling with people looking for their pick we found a few to sample and got ours to go. We would definitely go back to taste some more. There is seating inside and out although limited if there is a crowd but you vote with your feet and good treats means a bit of a crowd.

The Paris Baguette recently opened in Savannah GA and it is definitely worth checking out. We have purchase fresh and delicious bakery items on more than one occasion. They also offer a large assortment of sandwiches, cakes and beverages.

We visited later in the evening and there was still plenty of options left to choose from and they were still stocking fresh items while we were there. We ordered a cake to go to share with family and it was delicious. Very light and airy cake with fresh berries and an icing that isn't overly sweet. My kids chose some prepackaged items that they enjoyed as well (shaped like a bear cake) there are lots of sweet and savory options and they also serve coffee and teas.

Went specifically today for their "grand opening celebration" which advertised BOGO pastries which unfortunately was not what they were doing. You could sign up for their rewards program to get a coupon for one free pastry with a purchase. Which is a good coupon but not special for today and was only for new rewards members. The pastries look fantastic but they were just okay. I've definitely had better in Savannah. They are flaky but like hard flaky. They were doing some quality control and making sure all pastries looked the same and were the same size taking ones that didn't match out of the cabinets. *Editing to add that I took part of the pastries to my boyfriend and he said they weren't bad. So we will possibly try them again.* I tried the Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant and the Feuillete au Chocolat. The store is clean and easy to navigate and the staff is friendly. That's definitely the best part.

I had the pleasure of going to this Paris Baguette location on its second day of opening. Boy, was it packed! The service was outstanding and the workers pleasant and kind even when they were slammed. To choosing your sweets, you gather your tongs, tray, and tray liner and wander around to all the different cases and pluck out eat one you choose, place it on your tray, then take your pile of yum to the counter to pay. I wanted to be sure I bought a bunch of different kinds to take home to share with my family. While they have more sweet options, there are also some savory. I can't wait to go back and try their other items!

On a cold evening with a group of foragers, We were seeking shelter from the blizzard of the new year. This place WARM AS SHIT. Also a vibe Very good food!!

Huh? This is not a "Korean" bakery. The standards are so low, the quality was just bad. I think maybe some people who have never eaten at Korean bakeries gave it all the stars? Not sure, I asked one of the employees, and he said they were trained in Jersey. I pointed out the greasy hard stuff, tapped on the hard salt roll, pointed out the collapsing stuff, etc...he said they only bake once a day...fine...but even the weight and look of the goods are not legit. Not sure why it was so subpar...they do not understand the quality required at a Korean bakery. I usually love Paris B bakeries...but this place is not up to the chain's standards.

Charming, cute yes. Good? No. Everything was very dry. I've been to Paris & had sweets from Paris and it's NOTHING even comparable.

Dirty bathroom with a broken soap dispenser, mediocre food, and nonexistent service. Very disappointing.

Alright, fellow Yelpers, here are my thoughts on Gallery Espresso…read more I'll be honest, this is one of the harder coffee shop reviews for me to write because I'm a little torn. Do I think Gallery Espresso has the absolute best coffee in Savannah? No. Do I think it has my favorite atmosphere in Savannah? Also no. Personally, I tend to gravitate toward coffee shops with a slightly more modern feel, while Gallery Espresso leans more toward a classic, eclectic, and somewhat antique-inspired vibe. That said, I think judging a coffee shop solely on where it ranks in one category misses the point. If you're looking for a place to spend an entire afternoon working, reading, studying, meeting a friend, or simply relaxing, Gallery Espresso is one of the most reliable spots in Savannah. It has plenty of seating, mostly dependable Wi-Fi (though full transparency, it can occasionally get a little spotty), air conditioning, good food, solid drinks, and a comfortable environment where nobody seems to mind if you settle in for a few hours and get things done. In fact, despite there being a few coffee shops in Savannah that I would rank higher in specific categories, Gallery Espresso is probably the coffee shop I visit more than any other in the city. Why? Consistency. Every time I walk in, I know exactly what I'm getting. The service is dependable, the environment is comfortable, and it's simply an easy place to be productive. I'm personally a fan of their chai tea lattes, and their bagels are always a solid choice. You really can't go wrong stopping in here whether you're a local looking for a regular workspace or a visitor needing a comfortable place to recharge. I tend to be pretty critical in my reviews, so if anyone from Gallery Espresso happens to read this, I promise this isn't a criticism. There are a few places in Savannah that I think do certain things better. Some have more memorable coffee. Some have a more unique atmosphere. But very few places deliver the level of consistency that Gallery Espresso does day after day, and that's exactly why I find myself returning more often than almost anywhere else. For me, that's worth 4 out of 5 stars. I'm giving it four stars because while there are a few places in Savannah that I think function better as dedicated coffee shops, Gallery Espresso does an excellent job balancing good coffee with comfortable seating, food options, a productive atmosphere, and the ability to spend hours there without feeling rushed. When you take all of those factors together, it's one of the strongest all-around coffee shop experiences in the city. And sometimes, that's exactly what makes a great coffee shop.

I wanted to love Gallery Espresso. The location is perfect and the sidewalk seating is very cute…read more There are a lot of pros and cons with this one. Pros - The honey biscuit was SO good. Major points for serving actual iced coffee instead of cold brew. The iced coffee was incredible. Very strong. I normally drink red eyes and half a cup of this stuff will have you ready to run the city. Lots of teas if you're a tea drinker. Cons - The inside is giving what can best be described as hipster cat lady energy. It just felt a little dirty and chaotic. Some people probably find it 'eclectic". Skip the bagels. They weren't...awful... but coming from the Northeast, we're probably impossible to impress in the bagel department.
