New pastry haven in Temecula for the sweet tooth! I've been a fan of their cakes ever since because they are delicious and fluffy! I got some fruit tart pastries and some donuts. They were all so good. The pastry was flaky and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Drinks are 3/5. I ordered an iced matcha latte, and it was too sweet! The matcha powder used is not ceremonnial grade. I would definitely stick to their cakes and pastries. Staff were all friendly. It gets crowded later in the day so I would try going early. There are plenty of chairs to sit inside and outside the store if you want to dine in. read more

Finally a pastry place with yummy offerings that I used to have to drive to San Diego for is now open here in Temecula. Great location, friendly service, the pastry options are huge, albeit a bit pricey. Cafe like atmosphere, to enjoy a delicious treat and a cup of coffee. I'm not really into pastries but apparently there was a lot of hype around this place. My wife and daughter were pretty exited. The people there were really friendly and they were stocking up as busy as it was so it was nice to see the staff so attentive. The store itself felt like a Porto's or 85 Degrees. Same kind of vibe. The pastries itself were alright. But like I said, I'm not really into pastries so for that I'm giving 3 stars. I know some who read this will think that's a little low, but for me that's a pretty high mark. I'm pretty sure my wife and daughter will go back at some point. For me, it's one and done. Disappointed. Our first time in and didn't know how it worked. A sign at the door with instructions. Step one: Cover a tray with wax paper. What tray? I see no tray. I found a bags. Then I followed other customers and copied them. Using tongs and picking what we want. Its reminded me of a buffet like style. We returned our tongs by the trash where it said return your trays here. There was a bunch of tongs there so we figured that was where they went. Stood in line to check out and the cashier asked for our tongs. So I guess we placed them in the wrong spot. Chia was very sweet. Reminds me more of a hot chocolate with some spice. I had the salted caramel pretzel latte iced that was filled with milk. Comes with a pretzel that gets mushy as you drink it. The croissants were ok but wished they could have been warmed up. Not the greatest. Bummer. read more

I was really excited to see this place open, I was hoping for wonderful flaky, croissants, and French pastries. We ordered the chocolate chiffon, rainbow cake, and chocolate mousse. The cakes were very tasty, except for the chocolate drizzle on top of the chocolate chiffon, it tasted like Hershey syrup. The fluffy Japanese cheesecake had almost no flavor to it and the mochi donuts were just OK. The Palmer cookie was just not right, it definitely should've been sweeter. There was a flattened croissant cookie that was pretty good. We did order a croissant and it was pretty good. I'm really not sure about this place yet, I guess time will tell. read more

My mom and I came here after lunch so we could grab some dessert & coffee. It was pretty busy inside. We took a quick look at the baked goods and then we went over to the case with the slices of cake. They were out of quite a few things, but we opted for a slice of tiramisu & a slice of the chocolate ganache. We wanted to eat the cake inside the bakery... but they packaged it in the to-go boxes. We asked for forks and the cashier pointed to a counter where there was sugar for coffee, utensils & straws. Well, the to-go boxes are cute, but they don't work as plates, and the bakery does not offer paper plates, so we ate our cake on paper towels. Not the most elegant or eco-friendly scenario. My mom's cake was totally squished in the box, too. (Keep in mind it was only in the box for a minute or two, before we sat down at a table to eat it.) However, the cakes are good, not too sweet, with mild flavors. The bakery is cute and clean inside. It can get a little cramped when it is busy.There is plenty of parking in the lot. Sandwiches on the case are reasonably priced. I may go back to try them, but the cake experience could definitely have been better. Mahalo. read more

Great and convenient location near Costco,Promenade Mall and freeway exit of I-15 by Winchester Road. Ecstatic that they finally opened one here in Temecula as this was our favorite pastry shop in San Diego buying birthday cakes all the time in their Mira Mesa branch. I was very excited to find that they opened a Paris Baguette in Temecula. It is conveniently located in the shopping center across the street from the Promenade mall. As it is newly opened, the staff are still fairly new and training. Perhaps it's because I visited on a weekday evening, but the selection of bakery goods didn't seem as abundant compared to other locations I've been to in the past. I did enjoy their strawberry smoothie and ham and cheese croissant while visiting. The interior of the bakery was lovely and offers a decent amount of seating. My son saw this place online and was so excited to see one opened in Temecula, so we had to give it a try. We got there around 230 and it was very busy, with limited seating inside and out, and a lot of their goodies were already gone. The place itself is super cute, and everyone was really friendly. Just wish there were more seating so you could make your choices and enjoy some time there. When you walk in, you take a tray and choose what you want. They had a decent selection still, but it would probably be best to go when they open. Everything we got was good, the chocolate strawberry cake and chocolate croissant were our favorites, along with the strawberry smoothie. I've only been to another PB location but it was closed by the time I arrived, so sad. So when they finally opened one in my little town I couldn't wait to try them out. They just opened a couple of weeks ago so we decided to take my mom for her birthday breakfast. The place was pretty full but nothing too bad. This location is bright, cheery, & a clean environment. As you walk in to your right is the area to grab your tray, paper & tongs. You go from case to case viewing what you want and open the glass cases and put what you would like on a tray. Then take it to the friendly cashier and also you can order your drinks. I like that they serve Latazza coffee. I chose a ham & cheese crossaint, and a fruit pastry. There a few tables so I found one for my family while I waited for my cappuccino. We sat & enjoyed our pastries everything was delicious. I really enjoyed both items I chose & my drink. The ham n cheese was very tasty and I loved the crispy Parmesan on top. My fruit pastry cream amd fresh fruit was very delicious, it had a burst of flavor in each bite with a hint of citrus. They do sell, hot & cold drinks, juices, bottled water and some to go sandwiches. The location has a decent amount of parking, there are clean bathrooms. Overall I liked this shop and would definitely go back. The quality in their baked goods really shines through. I only wished my ham n cheese was warmed up. Maybe you can have them do that for you but I didn't think to ask. Next time I will. I will definitely be back to try other items to take home. read more

I was excited to try this place, especially since I've been to other PB bakeries and Porto's. I was hoping it would be similar, but unfortunately it missed the mark. The pastries and sandwiches didn't look fresh. I tried a slice of the strawberry soft cream cake (not in picture) and was really disappointed -- it had very little flavor, wasn't moist, and was overall bland. Definitely not worth the $7 price tag. My husband ordered the crab meat croquette and said it tasted more like coleslaw, with no real crab flavor. We also tried the cream cheese donut, which tasted like an oily churro. We ordered more items, but honestly, based on what we'd already tried, we didn't even want to taste them. To be fair once you have tried Porto's nothing will taste the same. We ordered six items for almost $35, and the pastries were definitely not worth the price. We didn't order drinks, so I can't comment on those, but based on our experience, we won't be returning. read more

Yummy! Went today about 2pm. Place was full. It was our 1st time, so a bit lost and unaware of how it worked, being honest. Girl in front was pleasant and was smiling! However, looked a bit overwhelmed. We picked our 5 items and 2 drinks, $33+ total plus tip. Gal at register was sweet, just a tad slow, must be a new employee. Again, was smiling and personable though. Our drinks (Carmel Mach.) took approximately 5-7 minutes and were just ok, being truthful, 6.99 ea. . Our treats were very tasty for sure! I'm beyond thrilled to have fairly decent baked goods in town. Having been to the best bakeries in Europe, this can't hold a candle but I'll take it over a crap Costco croissant any day! Some unique ones to try are the curry croquette and crab croquette. They've simple croissant is still my fave. They've got an array of caffeinated drinks that were also amazing. I came here to enjoy some coffee and pastries, and right from the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a lovely atmosphere. The delightful aroma of fresh pastries immediately appeals to your senses. I enjoyed the cold matcha latte, which was beautifully balanced--not overly sweet. The cafe is cute, there is indoor and outdoor seating, but when it's crowded, it's a challenge to find seating. The staff were very friendly and gave recommendations when I asked for suggestions. Thankfully we came just before a rush of people so our checkout experience was quick and easy. We were excited about this new bakery coming to Temecula. Our daughter lives in New York and raves about it. We have been twice now. The first time we went was great. Our only complaint would be regarding the prices which were on the high side. Last week we had out of town guest and want to take them here. Well we were disappointed this time. I had a rewards for a free drink and ordered a Frappe and it was at best lukewarm. Then some of the pastries tasted burnt and stale. Since I went early in the morning, I expected them to be freshly made, soft, and delicious, so I was particularly disappointed. The prices are high, and I don't feel it's worth the money. If you are going to charge premium prices, I hope you study ways to make the dough softer and improve the taste. Came in earlier today (Saturday eve) after spotting it had already opened. We had been waiting to try it--however we never actually ended up buying anything. We walked in at 8:30 p.m. to employees spraying, sweeping and cleaning already. All chairs were put up and placed on tables, and we did not feel welcome at all! It was still 30 min to closing and with many people still walking in after us. So, so sad, especially since they just recently opened! I will give it another try, hopefully I will feel more welcome next time. Our family just felt too pressured with the employees cleaning all around you.
