When I asked the employee who had followed the girls why she was doing so, she admitted it was because they looked "suspicious." That's not just unprofessional--it's unacceptable. It's disheartening to support a small business only to have your kids profiled and treated this way. I hope they take a hard look at how they treat their customers, especially young ones who are trying to shop independently and respectfully.

She was told that the owner would bring it into the city and to pick it up on Wednesday. She was quoted a price of $10 to $15 and that it would not be higher, otherwise my friend didn't want it done. When she went to pick up her watch today, she was charged $25 and was told the price was higher because it was a lithium battery. The battery was a CR1216 which sells for anywhere from $1 to $4. Talk about being ripped off........ My advice, stay away from this place as they are not trustworthy! She should have gone to Devon Jewelry in Wyckoff as they are honest and would have replaced the battery on the spot.
