My nails looked so bad and gunky the guy painted the same toe four times and still couldn't get it right the nail polish was sticky and not spreading properly he tried to correct one toe that literally had so much paint on it it was melting downward causing it to look wrinkled he literally just took some nail polish removed with a brush and tried to brush the wrinkles spot out and repaint it just in that area which looked worse and then I had to tell him to just repaint the toe which then took three more times of putting it in and taking it off . I eventually told him to please just take it all off and I'll paint them myself I was so polite as I felt bad, I asked for a discount as I paid for a service and that service was not met ($50 pedicure) I didn't even get everything my girlfriend who got the same package (some kind of peppermint lotion and callus removal, I didn't not receive which is why I chose that specific package) but I stayed quiet trying to not start issues. The guy literally laughed at me when I told him a $5 discount was not enough. He end up painting my nails over in a different color which then looked much better and I thanked him, they embarrassed by laughing at me and made me cry. Mind you I'm not the girl to cry like that. I still left a tip and paid for my full service but will never return to a place who doesn't have any sort of integrity or understanding when they are meeting their customers expectations. I was at Paris Nails yesterday with my Mother, out for a fun day. I have been here 3 other times since moving here. Well today is my last time here as I was nicked on 3 fingers and 2 toes. The girl repeatedly told me to hold still and even not to look at her and was very rough with me. I can guarantee I never moved and was quite taken back with her rudeness. I went here today just for a pedicure. My husband gave me cash and said I got the kids so I ran. I really wanted to love this place since we live right behind, so convenient, but honestly it was terrible. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Jackie greeted me and I didn't have to wait long at all. I sat on the pedi chair for about 3 minutes before someone came over and started the water. She was an older lady didn't talk very much at all, but very nice when she did. I just picked the deluxe pedi was looking forward to relaxing. Their chairs are amazing! The massage on the back was awesome. The pedi was a nightmare. She was digging into my nails with the cuticle cutter I flinched a couple times and she said sorry. Then the sugar scrub was put on after she did my callus removal and she made the scrub all watery and then massaged me with the sugar scrub/water rinsed it off and then mixed the lotion with water it just felt slippery not enjoyable at all and very odd. NO hot towels. Then the paint OMG I picked blue and red for the big toes (4th of July coming up) I showed her the picture below and she tried it on the big toe and I NEVER say anything usually. Why do we girls never say anything sometimes? Lol I feel bad. Anyways I couldn't let her continue so I don't have a picture of what she did with the decorating part but I said no you can't do that please take it off it just looks like a blob of blue and white. So she did, she painted the blue fine and the red nail she painted like my 3 year old would paint it and then used acetone and a brush to clean all the remaining off my surrounding skin. Was looking forward to trying out a new nail salon in Menifee but unfortunately left disappointed. I had booked an appointment for my mom and I in advance but upon arrival they let us know they were behind schedule and it would be a 30 minute wait. We were willing to wait and Jackie was kind enough to let us use the massage chairs since we both were getting pedicures anyways but we ended up receiving service about 45 minutes past the scheduled appointment time which defeats the purpose of making an appointment in the first place. While we were there, multiple people with appointments had come in and were told the same thing that they had to wait 30 minutes or longer or they could come back later. I understand being understaffed or running behind but out of common courtesy, the business should consider calling clients with appointments ahead of time and letting them know they need to push back their appointment instead of waiting for them to show up and telling them upon arrival. Beyond that, our nails came out extremely underwhelming and honestly sloppy. For example, missing polish on the sides, bumpy application, and a nail injury (picture attached) that hopefully doesn't lead to an infection. You would think that a salon that charges an additional $15 for gel polish would take their time applying the overpriced product but they would rather rush to service other people. There is nothing special about this place and although some staff was nice, that does not make up for their lack of quality or attention to detail. read more

This was my second time coming here. The first time my nails were a disappointment but the pedicure was great! This second time it was horrific! I went in with a design in mind and a picture to show as reference. (A spring theme, nude powder with colorful simple daisies) Right away the male said he can do it no problem. I somehow became the last person there since they close at 7, and I was ready to call it quits before he was finished. He was very rough and cut my cuticles, very messy.( my finger's were aching all night). He was having a hard time shaping my nails and I pointed out that the nail shape was not almond shape, he ignored me and continued. Finally he caught on to my disappointing look that he had a very nice female worker come and fix the shape. She was very sweet and gentle and fortunately able to fix the shape. At one point because they wanted to close and leave I had him doing my nails, a lady doing my brows and a lady on my toes, super uncomfortable. Fast forward to 8:15pm (I got there at 6) when it was time to draw some daises. He kept messing up and saying he doesn't know how. He asks a lady who's waiting for him to finish so she can close to help him draw the daisies and she rudely says she can't. I told him forget about the daisies and he kept insisting and kept trying and trying. I finally told him NO! I paid and left, I was free! It was beautiful which sucked me in, and the staff very friendly, but everyone is friendly in Menifee. I paid for a deluxe pedicure with calluses remover, fix a toe nail, and gel polish, 75 dollars. I couldn't put my feet in before he started going to work. Firstly to remove gel, your supposed to use remover and foil etc. He took my polish off with the drill, and scrubbed my feet until he broke skin, I told him and he just smiled. Tried to put a tip on my big toe for acrylic, ( no )! And my end result looked like he poured the polish on and his hand shook the whole time. I complained to the male owner or manager as I paid, his response come back, we will fix. What? I'm here now, I didn't and won't go back. Now I have to pay someone else to repair this monstrosity they created. The owner says they have the right to refuse service, I wish you had refused to service me before a paid. I have been coming here since the week they opened and up until now have left 4/5 star reviews, never had an issue and recommended to everyone I knew. After not going to get my nails done for about 4 months I went in today with my two kids to get mani/pedis. My oldest got a fill and basic pedi and said the person doing her toes was extremely rough, but loved the gentleman that did her fill. My younger daughter got the step up from basic pedicure and a full set. Her full set is uneven, angled weird and just ok looking. I received a gel mani and I asked for the pedi with the paraffin wax that is listed at $50. Every other time I've come in for the same treatment I've left paying $120 or less with tip included. Today as we were getting services we were informed of this random $8 up charge for cuticle removal (that comes as part of the pedicures on the list and at every other place comes standard with manicures). Then the lady doing my gel manicure forced me into some new gel thing that cost more even though I told her to do the regular one. My pedicure was supposed to be regular paint, but she did gel. I tried telling her no, and she ignored me. Plus I never received the paraffin wax. After almost 2 hours in the chair I was just over it and wanted to leave. For 3 pedicures that didn't include wax or anything else, 1 fill, 1 full set, and a gel manicure they charged me close to $400!!!!! What the actual hell is that? Outrageous prices, over charging customers. I asked about the price and was told 'well didn't you look at the prices before you started?' Yes, I did. But you added $32 in cuticle removal for two of us, which isn't normal! Plus over charging for everything else. I've seen responses from the owner on here too and her only response is to tell people she has the right to refuse service. So disrespectful! How about giving refunds when you over charge? Saying you're sorry and offering free services, or just fixing how your staff charges? I'm beyond disappointed at the service and angry at the amount I had to pay for subpar work. This should have been a $300 day, but due to up charging and sneaky tactics I paid $100 over that because of ego and greed. I like the people in here they are very nice. Although their cleanliness is just not there. The woman who did my manicure used a dirty nail file, dirty nail clippers and cuticle cleaners, dirty brush to clean excess nail polish then proceeded to dip the extra nail polish in a small container of acetone and at the end of my service poured the USED acetone back into the clean acetone. Very clean, professional, etc. my nails and lashes look better than I get in Wisconsin. I'm a bit picky, but I have nothing but praise for this place. I plan to go back until I go back home.
