I'm still here finishing up my pedicure and manicure. They have done such a good job I'm going to let them clean up my eyebrows! So I'm giving them a preemptive 5 stars, lol. The best thing about thing about this nail salon is the friendly service and the LONG massages they give you! Oh my, so blissful! I'm not sure about the prices because they are not posted on the wall but on a menu sheet that they use to help you decide what level of manicure and pedicure you want. I chose basic for both my mani and pedi. They cleaned my nails, painted my nails, gave me a massage, put on a soothing mask (I'm assuming clay) with a hot towel, and gave a long, relaxing massage.....ahhhhhhhhhhh. I chose shellac for my manicure and could have gotten it on my toes but didn't want to be exposed to too many uv rays. I'll be back for sue!!! read more

Went here because it was the closest in the area while waiting on a friend across the street. Lucky removed the gel set I had on and did it in a timely fashion. I just didnt like the uneven filing. I would try them again if Im ever in the area for other services. read more

Went a couple months ago and was not very impressed. As soon as I got there it was dead quiet and they didn't have a vast selection. Additionally, not only was the staff not very nice and vibes were off, but charged too high for the quality of the job done. I'm excited for this to be my go to salon. I've been here twice and have been taken right away for service. The first time I went in was for a full set and they looked absolutely beautiful, especially because I wreck my hands. Not only do I disgustingly bite them, I work really hard and heavy with them at concerts pulling crazy, heavy cables, unforgiving lights that are also incredibly heavy and I knock around my hands and I get beat up all the time at work. I have a second job where I represent myself for the company like Vanna White, while admittedly, these manicures are not as precise as the Russian manicures that I see, they are also not that same price point. I find this place to be priced fairly, the service is great, it's clean, the ladies don't gossip a lot, and I just feel really good appreciated vibes there today I went for a Manny Petty and I had a really busted up toe and the gentleman was so sweet and delicate with it and didn't turn me away. read more

This is my go to nail shop. I come every 2 weeks and I only go to Jenny for my nails and Ms.Helen for my feet. Jenny is quick fast and pays close attention to detail. She gets you in the out. Ms. Helen is a perfectionist and if it isn't perfect she will start over. I pay a total of 97 every time I go for nails feet and eyebrows not including the tip. They're very sanitary and they have the plastic covers over the pedicure bowls. The atmosphere is normally good calming and relaxing when the new ppl aren't there lol They're always loud and gossiping no one wants to hear that when you're supposed to be working and creating a soothing environment. But other than that I love the nail salon. The owner Annie is sweet as well. Make an appointment with JENNY and Ms.Helen if you want the best. read more

I have been going here for about 2 years and I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt but tbh they are a hit or miss and this time just happened to be a miss. I got my nails done Thursday May 13, today is Thursday may 20 and my nails are not up to par at all. Don't get me wrong the design was cute to me. However, The white "shellac" has a brown tint and just looks dirty. (Ref. Pictures) my thumb is missing but I can't really blame them for that because that one was my fault. The shape is horrible and I let the owner know while he was doing my nails and he still did not fix it he just said it would be better once he filed it and it was not. The people are friendly which is why they get my business but this set wasn't worth the $100 dollars I paid. ($63 for nails $37 tip). Overall I am just done with Paris nails and will be taking my business else where sad to say. I went and got a pedicure and was asked if I wanted my eyebrows threaded too I declined and that was it. This place is down the street from my home so I kept this place in mind. A few weeks ago I wanted to get my eyebrows threaded so I went ahead and walked in. I asked for eyebrow threading and I was taken to a back room. As the lady is prepping my eyebrows I notice she starts up a batch of wax. I immediately start apologizing and say "I'm sorry I might have said wax but I meant threading.", mind you I never been waxed so I know what I said but I apologize to continue with the service. She then asked me if I have thread on me, I'm confused and tell her no I'm sorry I don't, she says it's okay then pulls out some tweezers and starts going at it. I mean she did a good job, but threading is a cleaner and faster job. If I wanted to tweeze them I would've just done it at home. Low key sketchy read more

I've been coming here for about 9 months now as a result of being denied service at a business I supported since I was 15 for being "too picky." Since the start of Evons nails, I promoted their business frequently telling everyone "yes there's a long wait & the people are rude but they do good nails if you find the right lady." Boy was I settling. Paris nails is a hidden gem. Not a fancy place, not the place to go to if you want a glamorous aesthetic experience but it IS the place you go to for consistency! I had anticipated giving this place 5 stars from the start, because I followed my nail girl Holly from PG Nails because she does fabulous work. If you read my other reviews, you know the issues I had at PG that forced me to look elsewhere (Holly left) and after locating her at Paris Nails, all was right with the world again. I got the "usual", a full set of solar nails with white tips - and Holly remembered me after over a year absence. Not only that, she remembered the friends I had referred to her, plus the first time she did my nails, what day I had come in and which friend I had with me (and that was 2 years ago!). As usual, Holly did a first rate job. A full set of solar nails came to $34. I always get the same thing ,no polish, but for those that do like polish, they have a wide selection of OPI, China Glaze and others. The pedicure chairs look super comfy, though I have yet to try them. This place is a little hole in the wall, sandwiched inside the strip mall that contains Potbelly and Top It Pizza. Went in after a long absence for a basic manicure with my mom. Ms. Helen worked on my mom's manicure, while I was dispersed to Ms. Linda. During the manicure, Ms. Linda was sweet but very overzealous with my cuticles. I remember mentioning it several times, with a few ouches here and there. Didn't realize that after all was said & done, I'd been nixed! Needless to say, I ended up with a finger INFECTION! that hurts like crazy! The whole experience has ended up costing me several hundred $$$$ as I'm unable to utilize my right hand (dominant hand) for work! Plus medical bills as I had to go to the doctor for treatment! Currently on anti-biotics. My guess is they don't use clean tools for every customer. I have been going to Paris Nails since 2013. I am a terrible nail bitter. To the point if left to my own accord I will make myself bleed. And I'm 35 so I should know better. Because of this terrible habit of mine. I cringe and loath going to nail salons and hearing the chatter of how bad my nails are, and the question "why do you bite your nails?" Or the statements "wow you really harm your nails, why are your cuticles so bad?" It's normally a nightmare for me. But Annie was like a beacon of kindness, I don't get judged by her, she doesn't make fun of me or give me a hard time. Meeting her and going to Paris nails changed my life really. I now have beautiful nails and any crazy idea I get from Pinterest on nail designs or use of custom solar powders etc. she meets with artisan perfection. Annie should have the title of artist because what she does for me is masterful. I bring my children here for mani pedi, my mom, when I treat girlfriends on girls nights out, when I gift teachers.. I take them all to Paris nails. I'm never disappointed. I'm always treated fantastically. The salon is very clean and the ladies there are all good. I've done mani pedi with other folks who work there but have only done nail art, solar etc with Annie. And I highly recommend her. Now I've read some of the poor reviews and just as a reflection. Some people are crazy. And I'll just leave it at that. As a customer for three years I have no intention of going anywhere else as long as I'm living in Houston. Not a particularly pretty or large place but everyone was friendly. They explained why opi shellac wasn't good for my nails bc it holds too strong. They had a lot of color options. Bathroom clean. I hated my experience with this Nail Salon minus the AMAZING pedicure that the creepy guy gave me while looking in my eyes and saying "Are you ok baaaby?" through the entire service. I loved my pedi... but my manicure has turned into a catastrophe . My shellac manicure appeared to be done flawlessly while in the shop but shortly after I noticed my nails snagging on clothing and my hair. Two days after my manicure my first nail cracked from the side so deep that it slowly tore nail and skin. My nails are naturally long and I go through great lengths to keep them looking healthy so when a huge THICK nail that took two months to grows out breaks.. YES I have a problem with that. Its now been a week and five nails have broken exactly like this. Smh.. I knew when the girl kept using the nail file to remove my shell and continued to do so throughout the entire manicure it would be a problem. I even told her I didn't want scratches on my nails. I even asked what percentage of acetone was in there nail polish remover because it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to get it off when your nails are wrapped in foil. I'll never go back. Recently though, I've been trying different places out to see if there's anything better. And there is. I decided to come back to Paris Nails today since their price is cheaper than most and I was in the area. I'm probably not coming back again. Pedicure wasn't less than average, and to charge $8 just to remove my shellac and not really remove it all.... is ridiculous. I had to come home and finish the job.
