Okay, so going back to reviews and reading back.. I had to update because I can not leave a review sitting there with five stars if I'm not content with the exchange of business. I love Kelly and her work. She is super friendly, talented at trendy shapes and designs... However, the way her appointments are set up...... I booked an appointment one day, was told that everything was fine 'see you soon' okay cool.. Once I arrived, I noticed that Kelly was not there. I walked in thinking she was in the back or something eating lunch, I told them about my appointment and they said she just left for the day. Mind you, she's 25 minutes from my house and my kids were being watched so mommy can enjoy her nail day. This was totally Inconvenient and unprofessional. I rescheduled, because I knew no one else, at the time, who was as good as Kelly. When I scheduled, the hour before they called saying she couldn't come in because she wasn't feeling well.. I'm not mad because we all have problems, but it's very unprofessional here. I did give her a last visit a couple years ago, because I really wanted my nails done.. And we talked, had nice conversation. But of course I waited about an hour after my appointment to be seen. Sheesh. I came here because my friend always has amazing nails. Now I know she was talking about queens nails off Mason in Katy. My pedicure was painful. The man kept scrapping the side of my feet now I have 3 cuts still healing. Digging into my nail where he scrapped my skin off. When he was done he sprayed a alcohol? it BURNED so bad!! When the woman was putting on the powder she messed up the colors. I wanted gold on my index fingers she put the green instead on one and gold on the other. It wasn't a easy fix so she didn't fix it she just apologized. Now the color on my hands are not even. first week my nail broke they fixed it no charge and didn't even replace the jewels I had on it. So it basically felt like wasted money. This is the second week another nail just broke and I'm pretty sure I will be paying for these cheap nails to be fixed. So after this time if the nail breaks I'm driving all the way to Katy. The acrylic nails looked great originally when they were done. I left paying over $75 definitely not worth it. Something I've never seen before when they glue on the nails and put the clear powder over to shape HERE at this location the powder is the color they don't do any painting. Which sucks cause if you're trying to change your nail color later you can't have to get brand new nails. That's a hassle. Edit: my nails was fixed free of charge and was told the woman made my nails too thin that's why they are breaking and I should tell her to make them thicker yet he's sitting 2 chairs down from her. I won't be returning. ..2 days later I did go back cause a 3rd nail broke in half. She kept trying to get me to get a refill and couldn't seem to get the color right to match my other nails after waiting and waiting I finally told her take my nails off. I asked please soak them not drill she said okay. Soaked them them drilled omg I have no nail left it's all the way to my meat it hurt so bad. I started crying the lady kept smacking her lips at me but I needed that shit off cause she already started. Their combo prices were too good to be true. The guy that did my pedicure was very rough with the massage and when I arrived home I noticed the skin on the heel of my foot had blistered and the bottom of my other foot had not been smoothed. I went here as a suggestion from a friend and I regret it. The language barrier was also an issue. I asked about the services on their menu and no one could explain it to me. After my nails were polished I asked the manicurist if she could remove the polish off of my skin and she wanted to do this with the cuticle remover tool. First off be clear on pricing period before a client sits down! I WASTED $35 on a REFILL!!! Absolutely ridiculous! Then on top of that not only do my nails look unfinished but I kept young to explain to the lady what I wanted & she claimed she knew what she was doing yet still couldn't seem to get my nails right. I pay so much on my nails you can see by my previous posts so the fact the refill was $28 + $3 just to cut my nails then $3 for shape for the most basic red tip nails is baffling to me! I will not at all ever go back here because it wasn't even worth it & they DO NOT know what coffin nails mean. I have been going to Queen Nails for years ( I have gone to other places but I always come back because no one else's nails compare). I have moved out of the area and I drive over 30 miles and pass up tons of nail salons. I have literally gone 6-7 weeks without a refill and my nails don't chip or lift or break. If time is a factor for you, you always call to schedule an appointment time with some of the techs. I read comments of people getting little cuts getting a pedicure (I have every now and then and they are very minor) but let's be honest I expect it they are only human and if your that worries maybe you should do your own. I've seen the autoclave and I see them get instruments out of wrapped sterilization pouch that they use on customers. read more

This was my second attempt coming to Queen Nails and let me tell you the first time was bad and the second time was horrible! The first time i came in here i got a mani shellac and my pedicure done the guy who did it cut my cuticles while doing my pedicure to the point that i was bleeding i told him to be more sensitive and he just laughed and started talking what i assumed crap about me in his language. My nails came out fine other than that. But today was the second time i came here and the LAST my pedicure came out awesome i will give them that credit but a man with glasses did my shellac manicure and it is all types of jacked up! Went in to get Pedi & Mani Started the Pedi and the lady just wasnt doing a good job, my nails was not being cutt correctly, I complained to her first didnt get a response out of her( figured she didnt understand) Go to the front to complain of her work and hoping to get a new pedi lady but no he doesnt want to hear my complaints, locks the door and tells me to pay. I've been there for like 15min and theres no paint and barely cutt toes, never got to the mani, I paid$20 for a nothing but shitty service! So this is about my 5-6 time here, vin and Kelly are great and David does a great job on pedicures. However only David was available today for my medi-pedi, great job on the pedi. Mani, no way! He cut me to where it was bleeding and started swelling. I had to make him stop cutting my cuticles, didn't even finish. Proceeds to do my nail polish, I wait for my nails to dry and when he had cut me I told him he needs to give me a discount especially cuz the rest of my nails couldn't be finished. Now when it's time to pay, I remind him about the discount, he says no and calls another guy over which I tell the situation to and he says it was an accident! Yeah your fault, ya'll take care of it. Which he refuses, and tells me "do whatever you want" his exact words! So then I gave my card to get the ordeal over with and let him know I will talk to Kelly. He still doesn't care. I leave to sit in the car, and he comes running out, "let me see the finger he cut" I hold up my ring finger, and goes it was an accident I said yeah that's fine I'll take it up with Kelly because you don't want to provide customer service. He waves his hands up in the air saying yeah yeah do whatever you want!! I said yeah Kelly will let you know what I do! This is the last time I visit this place! And I will let all the people I sent to them they they cannot provide customer service! Awesome place ! Clean, relaxing and nice staff ! I wish I loved closer this would be my spot. They did a great job on my feet and I'm one of the pickiest women on this planet lol. The young man who did my pedicure was very meticulous and took his time. The massage was great ! The smells from the scrubs were so relaxing and smelt so good. They had about 400 shellac colors, WOW !! Newer spa chairs with massage remotes abs hooks for your purse. They place the hot rice jasmine/lavender neck roll on you to help relax you, NICE ! I would recommend them and when I return to Houston I'll be back ! Today was my second time coming here, and both times I left happy with my nails. I'm very picky about my nails, so I love the fact that Van is very detailed and takes her time to make sure your nails look great. She asks questions to make sure you're satisfied and also gives great suggestions on colors/designs. I live in the Memorial area and pass up several nail salons to come here, and trust me it's so worth the drive to come here. This place is the definition of a hidden gem. I've been coming to Queen Nail for about 6 to 8 months now and absolutely love this place and the staff. I suffer from a sickness called Multiple sclerosis and confined to a wheel chair, but every time I come David, and the staff are so kind to help me get in the chair and make me feel comfortable. I've been to so many other places and all they do is look at me like they've never seen any one in a wheel chair. I also love that the talk to and smile Kevin is very funny and kind.
