My most recent play was Misery and all I can say is WOW! they did an amazing job working with a small set to create a story that delivered a fantastic performance. It is a small theater but there are no bad seat in the house. They also have special offers for tickets that can make the experience more affordable. The variety of plays include many multicultural plays or including multicultural cast members. I applaud their commitment to diversity. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Parking can be street parking or you can park at the church lot next door during performance nights.

You could see everyone working together to cook the food for quite literally the longest line at the festival because of how good it was. We got pancit, garlic rice, lumpia, pork and chicken BBQ, and turon. Each dish was also served with a small vinegar based sauce as well. There is something for everyone at the folk festival as well, with SO many different food vendors from all over the world sharing their unique flavors with the city of Lowell! The festival itself is free, but parking around the festival is not so you definitely need cash. It is also suggested to have extra cash inside the festival as well because many vendors are cash only. There are always concerts playing with live bands and plenty of local artists selling their work. HIGHLY suggest going one of the days it is available over the summer.

All of the performances are FREE. There are American Folk, Jazz and Blues performers as well as very many international singers and performers. There are sundry food stalls selling meals from around the world. The prices are always good. The downtown shops and restaurants actively participate, too, with great specials. All of the venues are within walking distance of each other. Everything is held outside, rain or shine. There are lots of tents set up in case it rains and to give shade. Schedules are available on line and from volunteers when you arrive. There are free shuttle buses from the Lowell train station.

She is FANTASTIC, and I cannot speak highly enough of her. From our very first phone call, she walked me through every option, every detail, every add‑on--with endless patience. I had quite a bit of anxiety around planning, especially since we didn't start until about seven months before the big day, but she made the entire experience seamless. With 300+ weddings under her belt, she knew exactly how to guide us. She helped us design our menu, advised us on where to splurge or save, coordinated the timeline with all our vendors, and even bustled my dress. She made sure we had a quiet 15‑minute moment together after the ceremony--just us, taking it all in with appetizers. She went above and beyond in every single way to make our day easy, special, and absolutely stress‑free. We LOVED working with her. The Space: The barn itself is stunning--warm, elegant, and adaptable. It's spacious enough for a 200‑person celebration yet intimate enough for smaller weddings. We had 75 guests, and the way they set up and decorated the room made it feel breathtakingly beautiful. The Food: OUT. FREAKING. STANDING. Our guests are still talking about it six months later. We chose family‑style dining, and it was such a fun, interactive experience--everyone loved getting to try everything rather than choosing just one entrée. The steak, the fish, the mushroom cream tortellini (incredible!), the broccolini, the mashed potatoes--everything was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I would recommend the family‑style option a thousand times over. The Staff: Every single person--from the waitstaff to the bartenders to the behind‑the‑scenes team--was phenomenal. A special shoutout to Shannon, our dedicated server for the night. All the actors do the same thing, they "roar or growl" its weird. 4 attractions, 3d crypt, castle morbid, vampire passage and a hay ride. You get a bracelet for unlimited rides...there were 2, top gun pendulum type ride and a pirate ship. I dont do rides so zero interest. The girl who narrated the hay ride, couldnt even hear here, and nothing scary about it. You'd think for being in the woods it'd be scary, nope. So point of all this, do not waste the money on going there. Best part was an actor who had these knee pads on and he would slide on his knees and create sparks. You're welcome.

You get to read about and choose your own wine with options at 1, 3 or 5 ounces. We stayed for a while and enjoyed different variations of wine. I feel the pricing is fair, the only weird thing is that you're timed out after 12 ounces of wine. I find that strange as the standard pour of wine is 5 ounces so this is just slightly above two glasses. The food menu is small but the charcuterie and desserts that we saw seemed great! Definitely a good addition to the Maynard area!
