Produce Place is located in a renovated church building which gives the store a airy open feel, the produce is fresh and usually very reasonably priced, even more so if you check out the weekly specials that are posted on the cork board next to the entrance. They usually have great prices on bananas, strawberries and salad fixings. In addition to the fruits and veggies there are nice selections of cheese, breads and pastries and wines. off to the side is a small groceries section with canned goods, dry goods, and a cooler. Overall Produce Place easily beats the groceries with higher quality fruit and vegetables at better prices. This store is very clean and well organized. It's a great pleasure to browse. INVENTORY: I was very pleased with the inventory at this ALDI. Prices have the same great value as at other locations. The seasonal inventory is amazing - mulled wine, baking brie with cranberries, gingerbread coffee, nogs, ice wine, and so on. It's a perfect one-stop destination to get everything for your festive table. Aside from seasonal inventory, I found a few things that I can't find at other ALDI stores. For instance, holiday macarons were available! I most loved the gingerbread ones, and deeply regret not getting a second package. The store has BOOKS! I haven't seen books at other AlDI locations. You'll find books by Freida McFadden here for $9.99. I'm bookish girl, and was a huge fan of these finds! Most were sold out already but it's something to get super excited about! SERVICE: The service at this AlDI is so-so. I had a few questions about finding a few items, and they were pleasantly answered by the staff. I'd rather manage packing on my own. PARKING: There is a large parking lot by this store. The parking lot is a bit dim lit during the night which makes it look sketchy. ALDI sign is also dim. At the self-checkout, I needed help paying for a single item without a barcode. I had to press the assistance button multiple times before anyone responded. When someone who identified himself as a manager finally came, he was extremely rude and condescending instead of helpful. His appearance was sloppy, and his attitude made me feel belittled rather than assisted. This level of customer service was shocking. I then went to customer service to speak with the store manager, but despite waiting and repeated calls, no manager ever came. I usually shop at Heinen's or Costco, where professionalism and customer care are clearly a priority. This experience was unacceptable, and I will think twice before returning to Giant Eagle.

I was reminded about Rudy's by my son who gets a lot of meat here for smoking in his smoker. I've been by twice and the first time was just so so. My problem was that I didn't order ahead.! The great thing about this place is they are busy! It's a popular place! There are guys in the back butchering and cutting up meat! It is pretty cool to watch! This is truly a homey place and I can see why my mom visited for her meat needs and she ordered ahead! When you walk in, you can tell there are a lot of regulars. People take numbers, get their meats, have conversations. A nice and welcoming vibe. I ordered an Easter Ham from David. He was great in explaining the difference between bone in, boneless and cooking differences. I did a boneless sliced ham and it was perfect for my own glaze.
