I could not be happier with the quality of the cabinets and service I received from Ron Brand at RCR. My decision to go with Legend Cabinetry was because I wanted an American made product (from Cottonwood, MN). I did not want a Ready-To-Assemble product from Asia. And I didn't have the budget to get custom-made cabinets. I wanted quality cabinets that looked upscale. After some searching, I found Legend Cabinetry and fell in love with their style and quality. Then I started hunting for a local cabinetry company that sold them. I found RCR Cabinetry and Ron Brand in Lombard, IL. Ron Brand's customer service ability is shockingly excellent! I would think of something in the evening that I wanted to discuss with him and send an email. I didn't expect a response until the following work day. Ron would respond almost immediately. I think the man never sleeps. In addition, I found him very easy to work with. He was always fair with me even when I made a change during the install. And he even showed up on the job site to make sure everything was going well. RCR Cabinetry does not install the cabinets. You must hire your own contractor to do the installation. So it is important to hire a really good one so your cabinets are not damaged or altered during the install. I did ask Ron for several recommendations and I hired the one I thought was the best. Thankfully it worked out well for me. If you are in the market for good quality cabinets, that are made in the U.S.A, not insanely expensive, and service that is second to none, I highly recommend Legend Cabinetry and RCR Cabinetry. I have attached two photos of my kitchen and one of the powder room. The doors are Legend's Niagara style. The color of the cabinets are Glacier painted and the island color is Canyon.

Please make sure you take a very knowledgeable contractor before you sign on anything from RCR…read moreCabinetry otherwise you will end up with very bad materials as they use these specific codes on their contracts that a normal person would not understand and why would anyone look at these small codes after you meet face to face and get shown real nice materials and get promise all PLYwood material made in the US? oh and they don't refund you if you are not happy with your order (hint hint, don't go with someone that doesn't offer that). Trust me I learned afterwards that many dealers do offer refunds if not satisfied. We ended up paying 4000 dollars for cabinets that were half solid wood and half (doors) were very cheap none solid wood that cracked when screwing nails in them. When I tried to return I was shut down completely and in a was told in a very rude unprofessional way that "I got what I paid for" and that I am the only in their history in the business that didn't understand their "codes". And that the case was closed! Unfortunately they ripped me off in a legal way and now I have to deal with very poorly made cabinet doors that no contractor uses in kitchens.

Nope!  The more I looked the harder it became because I wasn't sure of fixture sizes to buy for our spaces. Our electrician suggested we go to Littmen Bros. Interiors. What a great suggestion!! From the moment we walked in the door we were so excited to see all the beautiful fixtures in person. We met and worked with Lisa who is outstanding. We showed Lisa pictures of all our existing fixtures  and provided room measurements to give her an idea  of the scale.   She said this will be fun! She gave us ideas on sizes to consider. Everything I liked initially was way to small.  Lisa was fantastic making sure we ordered the perfect size for each space. We purchased 5 fixtures: A foyer 12 drop amazing fixture, 2 lights for the cat walk which are gorgeous and look fantastic with the foyer lighting, a beautiful hand made crystal candelabra chandelier for the dinning room and a large two tone  round fixture for the laundry room.
